You always sell cars with issues!!!
There's a reason why experienced and seasoned car dealers stay away from Nigerian used cars. The ones that manage to sell for friend will not use their receipt for the transaction. E get why!

An average Nigerian lack maintenance culture and is already looking for the next victim to pass the car onto, the second the car starts misbehaving or they're done with the abusive relationship they have with the car.

Thank you, from Admiralty way in Lekki, and pick up is ShopRite.
Is the stress even worth it? Except it's a must that you pick them or they are willing to pay premium, they can just book a ride. There are drivers staying in Sango that leaves very early in the morning.

It all depends on location.

Some states has very low requests.

Even churches are recording low tittling and offerings.

Low congregation because no money to transport themself to church.

*He has defaulted twice hence the need to collect the tools back.*
There's no point keeping the car on the road if driver will only be remitting 10k weekly.

Best to retrieve car and sell or look for driver that knows what he's doing.

I have said it here that Indrive will be worst than Bolt if they gain ground. They have use my eyes to see Shege. Block without telling you. If you like mail from now to forever they won’t reply. I start to fear them when they remove my 4500 from my account. I want to believe the owner is not aware of all these sha. But once someone cancel without you calling them, complain immediately if they remove commission from such trip.
Yeah, I took screenshot of the payment page and trip. Sent it via mail immediately. They are yet to respond.

I sent a reminder this morning, no response still. I'll send in a fresh one now.

Na you did it wrongly as I've once said here.
If you accept a ride on indrive, don't call the passenger. Just send them a message on the app and drive to pick up. If the passenger cancels before you get to the PU, you will get notified and money will be added to your refund purse.
Mistake some drivers always make is that, they will call passenger before they even start moving and they will cancel if passenger no pick their calls. In such case, indrive will take your money.
Best to do is, don't call passenger. Just send message.
The only time you can call passenger is when you don click arrive at the PU point. If any cancellation should happen after waiting for 5mins, you will get your money in your refund purse.
Note: if you message some passengers, dey no go reply but will call you by themselves, once they call you with a number, na the number make you call from your phone dial pad. Don't call from the app link.

Much respect, baba.
Bro forget this line of thought. Indrive is a crook now. It's been happening.

Yesterday, I didn't call the rider, just chat and she called me herself, halfway to her. Indrive deducted commission as soon as I got to the pickup, same time the stup.i.d girl canceled.

They didn't add it to refund tab. I've been sending mail since yesterday, no response.

They did same twice during sallah, I got it back after series of mail. I'll surely get this 600 back!

My honorable drivers in the house please which engine oil is best for my 2006 Toyota Corolla between 5w30 and 20w50 Mobil because the person I bought the car from said he is using 20w50. Please I want you guys to help me out because I just bought the car and I don't have any experience about car. Is 20w50 good for the car or I should change it to 5w30, bro I need your advice on this.
If you use 5w30, it may start shorting oil. If the previous user has been 20w50 for a long time, just continue with that but ensure to change it regular

You're still blaming the driver, so are you saying those Taxi drops that picks stranded passengers at night should stop picking passengers coz its not safe?.

Whether you take safety measures or not, you're not perfect, God has been waiving this bad things away from us, he could have also helped pure stranded people as well but he was just unlucky last night, and at the same time, the evil doer time was up.

many have been doing it all their life and they never experienced that, it's not because they are perfect, God is just waiving the bad things away from them, I can't recount how many times I have witnessed a very near bad incident, anytime I experience it, I just give thanks to God for waiving it.

I get we should make use of our head but you can't always trust the head...
Bros, do what you like. cool

It's sad to see some blaming the dead, as if one knows what will happen in the next minutes....

May the deceased RIP, his family might still not be aware of what has happened to him...

This life really hard gan o

God protect us as we go out for our daily bread...
Nobody is blaming the driver per say. We are all just stating the obvious here, as a driver, make your safety and that of your car your No. 1 priority. Whether App trip or offline.

Nobody is perfect or Mr. KNOW it all.

Even as expensive as fuel is, I still blow empty home when I don't see request going towards my house. At least I did it twice this past week from VI. I had my peace. I could have picked passengers from Law school or Sandfill but no, I played Roddy Rich on the highest volume and sped home.

Drove 10 mins to listen to her saying she tot the other drivers won’t arrive on time. I almost make up my mind if I find such in my car, I will delay till the driver come and we will both enter her that day. People need to learn.

It's a very foolish act. I just they vex since. Waste fuel to pick up, still waste looking for where to position again. I have to start another back and forth with indrive support now before I can get my #590 back sad

Ride just they disappear anyhow for this GRA, Chai.

As a rider, if you indulge in the habit of booking two rides when you only need one, God will punish you.

I drove from Conoil by Lasuth to Lagos Marriot hotel, this nonsense girl canceled when security was checking me in at the hotel entrance. I called and she said she went with another driver that got there first. God will punish you wherever you are Diamond.

Oga

Either roadside passengers or online passenger, they are all strangers to us and you don't know the intention of any of these strangers...

Only pray for God's protection...

Nothing guarantees our full security in Nigeria...
This is where your instinct and discretion comes to play.

Know your environment. You can't pick someone from an estate with call to access and not feel some sort of safety. What about the riders destination? Is the rider taking you from a safe location to an unsafe route. E.g VI to Baracuda Beach at 1am.. what are you going to do there?

Majority of drivers death in this hustle are avoidable. Why pick a trip from Shrine to Abule egba? The other guy that got killed in Mushin at 4am, what is he looking for there?

If you have not done ehailing consistently during the day for at least months, you don't have any business working at night. At a glance, you must be able to figure out where your rider is and where the rider is going.

It is well! I always have this guilty feelings when I don’t help, but life has tot me different. Not all helps count and one most learn to work with his or her instinct. Trying to help someone and end up buying more problems make no sense. They took my neighbor phone the day he picked passengers from oworo to Berger. Sometimes I wonder the set of people that stays around motor ways dark at night flagging motorists.

Even in my neighborhood, I have sum it up. Anyone that needs help should tell me and we can be leaving home at a fixed time. But stop at the bus-stop. Nah nah nah!!! Don’t have money for handles.
My wife thinks it's unfair that I don't give lift to people in my estate to the bus stop or from the busstop to the estate when Bike closes in the evening.

I told her I've seen and heard enough to know that human beings can be very tricky. In your mind, you want to render help, meanwhile the person you want to help as other thoughts.

May God keep guiding our paths.

Sad one angry

"According to one of the passangers in the car Toyota Camry Gold. He stopped at Iyana Oworo to pick passenger towards Island to continue the night work till morning. He has two people at the back. A woman and a young man of 30 but the third person sat at the front.

The woman said he got a trip of N4800 but the rider cancel so he decided to drive to Island while helping people.

The person at the front dropped at Obalende and the woman at the back moved to the front.

While approaching Civic Centre Ozumba Mbadiwe the young man at the back removed a kitchen knife and stabbed the driver on the neck twice. The driver managed to stop, run out and the woman at the front too ran after him as the blood gushed out of his neck. He was palpitating for survival but collapsed and died.

The robber who sat at the back jumped to the front to move the car and run away but a car who was behind who noticed the whole scene blocked him and few guys challenged the thief who balance with them to fight .

He was overpowered and beaten to stupor but still breathing till police took him to station with them. People who observe the robbers appearance identify him as one of those Ladipo boys who pieces cars and sell the parts for willing dealers.(He wore the ladipo shoe with nylon as socks to prevent oil spill)

E-hailing drivers are now prey to fuel, prey to our partners, prey to app providers and prey to robbers.

So sad. I can only add the car plate number as the scene was so gory.
