PapaNnamdi: Honorables, I have a Peugeot 607 2004 e12 (same engine as 406) I want to borrow about 500k with the car paper as collateral , I want to repair and renovate the vehicle for the hustle (AC, body work and some mechanical issues) I intend to pay back in 2-3months,
Is there any source that will offer me the said amount with my papers as collateral? Also is it adviseable? I tried getting a driving job of about 100-150k so I can save 100k monthly and fix the car but most interviewers always ask me " why will you leave Uber work and come do private driving since there is more money in Uber" I always lie to them that the car was sold by the owner ,but I no de get the work,
Make una advise me and my 607 abeg
Abi make I go carry moove 50k save money repair my car and return the moove
I am just in dilemma If you are credit worthy, Specta by Sterling bank can give you that amount as a first timer even without having an account with them. Just make you submit your account with good inflow. |

Ajibaiye: Good morning bosses. Trust you all are doing fine! Attached is my 7 days work ( please tell me if it’s a USE-LESS trips ) i am open to learning.
Special thanks to @Omoapena who haven’t got tired of my questions when others tries to push me away with sorts of words. @Omoapena Jazahakumulahu Kairan ( May Allah reward you with goodness.
Attached is my first week job as a newbie, though i met different people and experienced a lot in my trips but thank God i was able to handle them nicely.
NOTE: I guess Uber and Bolt are neck breaker so i shaply joined InDrive and followed advises given. This is impressive 👏. Your average #/km is quite good. 400-500+km for long trip is okay, you don need to bid higher. For short trips, you can consider bidding for the second price or if you are running behind target you can take it like that. |

Did you go with your car? Was it inspected? Did they ask for Medical report?
I've been scheduled for Biometric capturing at Ikeja, but I'm thinking if it's possible to do it at Alagbon instead..i didn't know the station i choose is at Ikeja. |

odimbannamdi: I admit that you have a point here. But the app is still solely responsible for giving you that information about the destination and you don't have to call out riders for refusing to provide it on first interaction. Most times, riders know where they are going and have inputted same on the app, so you will not be at fault if you follow the map to get to your destination.
I am surprised you are asking about the security exposure in stating your destination to a driver who has just called, now knows your location at the time and may or may not accept the ride. There's no 2 ways about it.. if a driver is confused about the destination, he has every right to ask. The attached screenshot rider picked Kokumo at Ipaja, meanwhile he's going to the one at Ogba..

This guy charged me 96k for All these documents fa! There should be a referral note that covers you for 60days, pending when you go for inspection. |

Glithronix: Ooh, that's good then. The brother that asked about this originally should see this. Make dem RS & VIO no go run am street. @the bold, I don't think this is totally best to do. Before you send money to someone to do it for you over there and have it waybill to you, you have done your stuff here and dusted. The link you have over there fit mess you up. Make subsequent renewal should just be done here to avoid stories. Make him just dey run him things here by himself.
Much respect, sir. Nothing to worry about bro..there's a guy on NL here; unikazzy, that does it....If you renew here in Lagos, you have successfully given Lagos your vechicle data which means the camera can now run your plates.. Even here in Lagos, I have renewed my Lagos documents and I didn't collect the original copies, I just print out the scanned copies and I'm good to go...the man kept reminding me to come for it...car wey I don sell since |

Pearl1910: Really there is no offense except they know u are doing ehailing with it. In which case, it is hackney permit they will require of u. The bottleneck has always been from d ehailing coys. But if they no longer request for Lagos roadworthiness certificate to register and drive in Lagos then to hell with Lagos State plate number. Just look for someone living in one of the remote states, they will register and send all ur documents via waybill, same thing for yearly renewal. U don't need to travel anywhere.
NB: I learnt Abuja also does vehicle inspection like Lagos before Roadworthiness certificate is issued. You can bypass the Inspection also. I have renewed several Abuja registrations from the comfort of my bed. I simply call my plug to get it done. He asks for the state the document it's going to and he waybills it. This thing is not as hard as you guys seems it is. |

Pearl1910: Uber and Bolt usually requests for Lagos State Road worthiness certificate if u are registering in Lagos. Has this changed? Cos if it's no longer compulsory to have Lagos roadworthiness, I am changing plates of all my cars asap I have used this plates on Bolt/Indrive without issues. |

Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by ReadaDream(m): 9:31am On Apr 16, 2025 |
Obedibombedi: To the best of my knowledge, if your car is registered in any state of the federation but your residential address is Lagos State or you do business with the car in Lagos State, you need a LAGOS worthy certificate.
You can argue the first year of registration but subsequently, you may be fined.
N.B This information is from Lagos VIS, allegedly. I've not been stopped by VIO in a very long time, so I can't categorically say it's an offense.. As long as Bolt/Indrive accepts it,then I'm good to go. VIO can fxxk off |
