BolaT53: I don’t think it’s about your Health. I was also refused based on personal asset and financial status. Reason been that some funds are available but they are not sure if the funds will the sufficiently available for me throughout my entire program. My uncle was my sponsor. Paid my full tuition for my whole course, I also had about 14,000CAD in my own personal account and my sponsor had about 40m though he used his company’s account.
What I did differently. I got a reference letter from his bank stating he is the sole signatory to the account Provided evidence of past sponsorship as his company sponsored my university education and several screenshots of money he has sent me for the past 2yrs I attached about 20 receipts. I used my mum as a co sponsor this time. Submitted her business documents, properties, statement of account and some other supporting documents. I already paid my first year tuition |

viviangogos: if you were self sponsored, the amount is surely not enough but since you are being sponsored, you need to get it right with your sponsor which was stated on the gcms notes. He can use his personal account that has his income flows, payslips, show assets if need be. He has to prove he is well established and sponsoring won't be a burden to his other family or personal responsibilities. Let other gurus share their own input on this too.
For the health issues, did you pass your medicals? Most times, they access every situation in a case by case basis so if they accessed yours and you passed, then it should definitely have nothing to do with a refusal....
All the best Thanks |

viviangogos: Third party sponsorship are usually really difficult to prove because in the VOs head, he need to know why such person would want to spend all that amount to sponsor your education. People still get through with this when they prove past sponsorships from such individual hence it I not impossible to do. In this case, It also seem like your cousin presented a company account for your application ( I am speculating from the VOs comment on board approval). It is never a enough for your sponsor to only present SOA to prove sponsorship especially when it is a company account. There are more to prove. First, did he make any commitments towards your studies to establish firm sponsorship plans. To improve you re application, he can pay your first year school fees to show strong commitment towards your academic plans ( that is if this was not done already), if possible, do a gift deed to you for your maintenance for atleast the first year and show his personal account for other year. This will definitely improve your chances. Let more gurus add their own inputs though.
All the best I had money in my 4 million in my account . And I had paid my first year fees... I am thinking it's regards my health issue |

Genyc: I don’t think your HIV status is the reason, and even if, they’ll never state it in the gcms notes ‘cos that would amount to discrimination. However, still order your notes to know the real reasons and also check if your medicals were passed. my medicals hasn't been updated |

SweetJJ: ok but what is the refusal reason? Personal assets |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Readytowear: 12:47pm On Sep 16, 2021 |
SweetJJ: What is the refusal reason? Did your medical show passed? If yes, then that is not the reason. Order your gcms note to find more details. Medical not updated |

NgumimiT: If that’s the reason I doubt it would be in your gcms notes because it’s rather discriminatory and you could take legal action against them.
You should still order your notes to find out why you were rejected though. Thanks |

Morning house This is my second application refused yesterday. The reason was personal assets I already paid my fees and money in my sponsors account with 20million in usd Although I am HIV positive and I told them during medicals altho I am almost undetectable and healthy. I want to apply for gcsm to know if that's the reason. Plz gurus in the house |
