am nt crazy for govt job lik u might hav tot. stipend apart,dis internship has offered me chance to add to my technical skills at no cost as i had approached a firm similar to my employer firm b4 where dey asked me to pay 80k 4 dt same internship. engineering graduates will understand beta d role of experience in getting job. waiting 4 any govt to give job may cost one to spend more yrs than dt man beside bethsida water. acquistion of skills is d key to get total freedom frm unemployment. how i wish had known my employer since 2012! dis govt once removed subsidy in 2012 and i was among d critics of dt idea and if dey hav done smth else dt is good then dey deserve commendatn for it. i still wanna repeat my words dt a bird at hand is far beta dan thousands in d forest.

lemme share d feeling of a frd who got his training allowance on monday. he said he was just praying 4 d portrait of GEJ in bank frm d bottom of his heart as he waka enter bank to cash his doe.
what a good thing to know election has been postponed and it is now time to travel to collect pvc to decide on march 28. afterall some haters of GEJ in southwest here cud only provide 10k worth job for graduates and dey were promising more of dt kind job if dey get to d centre. whether enough or not enough,a bird at hand is better than thousands of bird in d forest.

puntermind the oracle of this thread. u said alert go enter dis wk and i got alert for a month stipend dis morning though it seems d alert was 4 one of outstanding stipends mayb dec because it showed jan 15th. i salute u and doff my hat for u,tuale baba! my outstanding remains dt of november now plus last month stipend. thank u for ur kind gesture here.

i also got invite frm jumia 4 last month seminar in ib but i dont know if there is plan to organise another training soon because i was unable to attend d previous one.

OP obj's regime was poor in employment but the little that was, was real and there was confidence that if there was a federal govt job opening, it was real and people were recruited accordingly.

*Immigration recruitment resulted to death of candidates, thousands paid 1k and no job

*federal task force recruitment, thousands applied with varied sums of money and yet no job

*SURE P program that no one is yet to benefit from

*customs recruitment with huge allocation to the south south (especially okrika)

With GEJ it should not be called unemployment again, it should be called 'insult to unemployed',

get ur fact right b4 castigating someone. everything might nt be right with job searching but surep GIS has been fair in selection for d past 12 months eventhough it is nt permanent job but it's mission is still on course. GEJ has nt done well in stamping out corruptn finally but many pple who castigate him are as bad as he is. my experience is with state civil service job which fed govt is nt handling,can someone tell us how fairly has recruitment been conducted in his state without nepotism recently be it pdp or apc state?

I was matched with a firm in osogbo during internship fair dt was held on Nov 12, 2014. in osogbo but up till now av nt been paid despite d fact dt my employer used to fill timesheet at appropriate time. my ubc is

HALOGEN remember There is God ooo. u go dey collect 70-80k salary frm real clients and pay graduate 20k just because of country job situatn. u can claim ure conscious of ur profit but morally u can also see d difference is abnormal. my brother if u know u dont have hands-on experience on dt hybrid power design dey talked abt,dont waste ur resources. it wud have been better d real firm dt needs employee conduct dt interview. these pple wey invite u just dey call graduates and shuffle dem not minding their resources dem gonna waste as if na jupiter dem want do d job. if ure still eager to attend any interview sha u can attempt it but as am typing here dem neva stop inviting pple for dt same position but one will wonder if everyone dt has been interviewed na olodo abi na so d pple dem want employ plenty reach.

Op. i want to believe u need experience hands but who are ready to be paid by ur client as trainee. d job functions uve stated up there dont correlate with d title uve given it. nothing bad in asking for direct experience abt d job rather than raising hope of applicants for more training abt dt design b4 u recommend dem for ur client.

He may have been filling it are you sure it was done properly,I bet you up to 70 percent of stipend problem is caused by employers they were not properly orientated on how to sign timesheets, try to assist him after signing eeah day of the month then click on save then do same for all the available interns then go to homepage click on it and submit all. But some employer will sign and save and forget to go to homepage to submit,that is where d problem is from,yes after saving even without submitting ur PIUF will show completed and d numbers of days worked will show 23 but if you notice stipend will be pending. I observed it when I got matched december and the two interns already working there were complaining of not payment since september,I drew their attention to it because I am previledge to have access to my employer login details and the attention of my employer was equally drawn to it , he was surprised and he appologised, so yes you have oppurtunity to sign all the pending months when new timesheet appears,that's exactly what I will do for my colleagues and my dec timesheet.

thanks. eventhough he has told me once he used to click submit button after filling d timesheet but i will still inform him of re-filling d unpaid mths when we get new timesheet.

. No need to worry yourself when the timesheet for january comes out tell ur employer to sign all pending months that has not been paid because there is oppurtunity to do that any time new time sheet comes out.

On the day i got matched, i opened an as been instructed meanwhile i was a customer of UBA. So the account I opened on our fair was later closed due to multiple bank accounts with same account names and I was advised in the bank to still use my previous account details since they are all in Savings account and same account name. I have to go back to my employer and report the situation to my manager he now go back to my account form and put in my new account number on d form and re-scanned and send to sure P with an attachment of small mail to it possibly explaining my predicament and after then I am yet to be alerted with a credit alert from my bank.


Because of the closure of my initial bank account before the November stipend made not to got that November stipend.
Hence I am sure the error has ben rectified.

So what happened to yours?

mine was just dt i got acct no late frm d bank and my employer did everything right by filling timesheet at d right time yet no money. eventhough puntersmind is already aware of my case but i pray and hope it is rectified so as nt to discourage person.
