However the second victim who was in luck said he suddenly realises what is going on and spins around, grabbing hold of the man’s wrist, before the first victim came around to tell how he and his gang jumped him

He has since been handed over to the police while his other gang members are still at large

A thief trying to sell copper cables and a boiler worth N250,000 from a filling station was caught trying to sell his spoils to an hausa man for only N5,000 in the early hours of today

The thief who happens to be a fuel attendant in the same filling station where he stole the cables was giving the beating of his life before onlookers begged for his life

The Filling station owner when interviewed by Naijanewsrave.com had this to say;

”I very much hope that anyone who has been here today or heard the report gives cause to consider the perils of trespassing unlawfully on to a property and then engaging in an activity like this.

”It is an absolute tragedy that this has happened. It is a senseless waste of a young life as he could have been lynched”

The manager however assured us that he would be spending his new year in the police cell

Shortly after Russian ambassador to Turkey, Andrey Karlov, was assassinated, his killer has been apprehended.

Karlov was shot dead while he was giving a speech at an exhibition in the Turkish capital, Ankara on Monday.ambas2

The gunman, a riot squad police officer identified as Mevlut Mert Altintas, opened fire at the 62-year-old Ambassador, then stood triumphantly over his body shouting “revenge for Syria and Aleppo”.

The killer has been identified as a 22-year-old man who has been living in Ankara since the past two years.

The Telegraph is reporting that after the attack, the killer shouted “Allahu Akbar” – God is great – as he pulled the trigger.ambas4

He was also heard saying something else in Arabic which reportedly translates in English to mean; “We’ve made an oath to Muhammad to die in martyrdom… [It is] a revenge for Syria and Aleppo.”ambas5

The murder followed days of protests in Turkey over Russia’s role in Syria as a backer of president Bashar al-Assad and came on the eve of talks in Moscow about the future of Syria involving Russia, Iran and Turkey, which will still go ahead today (Tuesday).
