March 12, 2015 The candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the Bauchi State House of Assembly candidate for Ganjuwa West Constituency, Alhaji Yusuf Dadiye, who was kidnapped on Monday, has been allowed to speak to his mother, whom he told that he is hale and hearty. Dadiye was kidnapped on Monday night on his way to Bauchi from Miya in Ganjuwa Local Government Area of the State. A source in Ganjuwa, who spoke with our correspondent in Bauchi on condition of anonymity, said Dadiye spoke with his mother on Wednesday morning. The source also added that the APC candidate also told his mother that his abductors had been nice to him. The source, “Alhaji Dadiye spoke with his mother this morning. He told her that he was in good health. “He also told her that his abductors were treating him well, none of them has molested or maltreated him.” When asked if the kidnappers had demanded a ransom, the source said no ransom had been demanded from the family. |

" Fellow citizens, I address you once again in the course of our nation's history. I am disillusioned, disenchanted, disturbed and disorganized by the magnitude and intensity of corruption exhibited by the Jonathan's administration. I am bold to say without reservations that the government of Gooduck Ebele Jonathan is the most corrupt in the history of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I give you reasons why any Nigeria who has got blood flowing through his vains and not kerosine should not commit the satanic sacrilage of voting for Jonathan or the PDP. These economic cankaworms, financial scavengers and national devourers have succeeded in rewinding our national life by 20 years. The anointing of Deziani Alision Madueke(Minister Of Petroleum) by president Jonathan as the untouchable, uncrowned Prime Minister of Nigeria elucidates the degree of the looting of national treasury. This massager of Mr president (Deziani) has been indicted by six(6) reports namely: 1- The Farouk Lawal Report 2- The Senate Report on Subsidy 3- KPMG Report on the oil sector 4- The Aik Imuokhode Report 5- The Ribadu Report 6- The NEITI Report Despite all these indictments, the darling favourite of Mr president is every wednesday immaculately attired and cosmopolitantly fashioned in DIAMONDS attending the Federal Executive Council Meeting under the watchful eyes of an unperturbed and conquered president. Suffice me therefore to explain why the almighty petroleum ministry under Jonathan have niether minister of state or Special Adviser. FCT ministry as small as it is have a Minister of State. The same petroleum ministry under president Obasanjo had four(4) ministers namely: The substantive Minister, the Minister of State, Minister of State Gas and Minister of State Energy. Yet with a special Adviser ( Late Alhaji Rilwan Lukman) today, Deziani is the alfa and omega in the petroleum industry and the national treasurer of PDP and the presidential campaign. Now with this massive inredeemable and record breaking looting of our common patrimony, who ia that sane Nigerian who support a man who on national TV defended his demented proposition that stealing is not corruption? Nigerians must come out of thier gullible cocoons and operate in an active mileau. Say NO to the man who meet dollar at #119 and today is #225. Vote out the man who petrol at #65 and is today sold for over #90. Resist the party that says 16 is great than 19. Sweep out the man who granted clemency to corrupt Nigerians and villified the honest. In 2010, lagos-Abuja by air is #15,000, today is #35,000 by Arik. Femi Fanikayode, Reuben Abati and Doyin Okupe should all learn from the experience of Labaran Maku. No amount of pacakaging, window dressing, boju-boju and bolekaja politics will redeem or sell rotten eggs. Good rediance to bad rubbish. Mr president, Otuoke by road, safe journey." Dame Patience Jonathan unraveling, fires an unprovoked salvo at the Almajiris from Northern Nigeria: Yesterday in Calabar, she told a crowd of PDP Supporters to stone anyone caught mentioning CHANGE to death. Today she has a new concept! Hear the Dame in her most uncharacteristic, uncivilised, unintelligent, uncouth and prebendal element! “Our people no dey born shildren wey dem no dey fit count. Our men no dey born shildren throway for street. We no dey like the people for that side.” – Patience Faka Goodluck Jonathan. |

Bauchi Youths Stone Minister, Others at Jonathan’s Rally in Bauchi Punch January 22, 2015 There was pandemonium on Thursday at the Ibrahim Babangida Square, Venue of the Peoples Democratic Party presidential campaign rally in Bauchi as angry youths pelted dignitaries at the event with dangerous objects like hammer, stones and slippers among other things. The youths, whose source of grievances could not be immediately ascertained, destroyed some of the canopies and plastic chairs. The ‘supporters’, who had, before the arrival of President Goodluck Jonathan and his entourage, chanted solidarity songs for the President and the PDP and marched round the venue with their drums and placards with the President’s picture, became unruly during the programme and began pelting dignitaries on the stand. Security operatives had a tough time dispersing the restless supporters, who had stormed the square in large in number. A similar incident occurred on Monday when Governor Isa Yuguda and other dignitaries were stoned at the PDP governorship campaign rally at the Darazo mini-stadium by angry youths believed to be supporters of the opposition All Progressives Congress. The FCT Minister, Senator Bala Mohammed, was pelted with bottled and sachet water while he was making his speech and pleading with the people of the state to vote for and support Jonathan and the PDP during next month’s general elections. Other dignitaries, who were on the stand with the FCT minister while he was making his speech, were also stoned. Others bent down to avoid being hit by any of the missiles. The minister paused for some seconds to wipe off water from his face. Mohammed called on the President and other dignitaries to ignore the ugly turn of events, alleging that it was the handwork of the opposition. “Fellow supporters of PDP, lets ignore what is happening. This is politics. It is the handwork of those who are bent on destroying politics in Nigeria,” he added. When he shouted, “Nigeria”, the crowd shouted back “sai Buhari”, “sai Baba Buhari”, others chanted “Bama yi,” “Bama yi”, meaning we don’t support PDP. All throughout the rally, which was very brief, youths chanted their support for the opposition APC presidential candidate, Maj. Gen Muhammad Buhari, saying “Nigeria, sai Buhari.” |

What Can You Reflect on This? |
![]() |
Good afternoon, my friends. As we continue our relentless pace campaigning for # Change this week, let’s reflect on the past few weeks -GMB I have become seriously disturbed by the volume of falsehood and desperation from the opposition campaign of the PDP. I clearly underrated the panic and lack of integrity that leads people to tell barefaced lies, and must confess, it continues to confound me. I have run for office before, but I have consistently done so without desperation or anger, because elections are not war. Why should candidates tell so many frantic lies in order to win elections, if truly their purpose is to ‘transform’ the lives of our people? It is a tragedy to see the ruling party focus on pettiness and lies; rumours of cancer, foreign treatment, and certificates they know exist. Hundreds, perhaps thousands of Nigerians died in # Baga days ago. Our unemployment numbers are rising. The businesses of our enterprising youth are being killed by lack of access to finance and poor economic policies. This campaign should be about those issues. It should be about today and the future; about securing Nigerian lives and Nigerian land. The desperation is beyond my understanding. # ThingsMustChange What is this obsession with lies? What is this obsession with pettiness? What is this obsession with threats and attacks? All of us, citizens and voters need to ask ourselves – why is our President so desperate? How can the President of this country be talking about remembering phone numbers and coup speeches? How can his campaign be talking about dead ex- leaders, jogging around the stadium and outright lies about my health? How can a President who has led this country for six years be unable to run on his own record and his achievements? Where is his fabled calm, where is his reserve, where is his composure? Why is he so ruffled? Why is he so frustrated and afraid? We should be deeply worried that a President who called for calm during governorship elections has now lost his cool in his own elections. Our President and his allies must remember that he is not only a candidate for office; he is the President of Nigeria. We do not have a disinformation or propaganda wing in our campaign. We have no need to waste time in driving petty attacks. We have not spoken about the President's family, his health, his religion, his ethnic group, or his phone number. We are concerned only about his record – has he secured Nigeria? Has he fought corruption? Has he truly grown the economy so it can work? Do our children find it easy to get jobs? Do our sisters and brothers find it easy to set up and sustain their businesses? Can our president keep us safe when we travel to any part of this country? Is your life better today than it was six years ago? We have only presented our record – how we fought insurgencies, how we stabilized the Naira, how we tackled corruption. We have presented our vision and plans – through our manifesto (available on http:// www.thisisbuhari.com ) and our town hall meetings. We are lucky to have in this election two people who have led this country. I am proud to present our record of solutions and effectiveness. Imagine the accelerated growth we can now achieve in a democracy –which the world has seen to be the most effective way of governing nations. Let us focus on those issues, please. Elections are not war. February 14 is not about politicians. It is about our country. I am appealing to you: the damage to this country is great. The level of unemployment and insecurity is intolerable, worsened by corruption. Therefore, I shall refuse to indulge the smear campaign. I refuse to allow them take away the focus from the issues that concern you. We insist on a campaign of hope, change and the future. This election is about big, important issues. We refuse to play it small. Join us as we continue the relentless pace of our rallies in Minna and Kaduna today. #Change is finally here, my friends. - GMB 3 Likes 1 Share |

History of the India national football team The history of the India national football team dates back to the 1930s. They have never won the World Cup, but qualified for one in 1950 , although they withdrew. They have had zero entries in the tournament from 1950 onwards. India have never won the final of the Asian Championship but made the Final in the 1964 AFC Asian Cup . They have only made three appearances since. 1930–1970 Indian teams started touring Australia, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand in the late 1930s. Soon after the success of several Indian football clubs, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) was formed in 1937. The 1948 London Olympics was India's first major international tournament, where a predominately barefooted Indian team lost 2–1 to France , failing to convert two penalties. The Indian team was greeted and appreciated by the crowd for their sporting manner. [1] India qualified by default for the 1950 FIFA World Cup finals as a result of the withdrawal of all of their scheduled opponents. But the governing body AIFF decided against going to the World Cup, being unable to understand the importance of the event at that time. Reasons shown by the AIFF included the cost of travel (despite the fact that FIFA agreed to bear a major part of the travel expenses) [2] lack of practice time, team selection issues and valuing the Olympics over the FIFA World Cup. [3] Although FIFA imposed a rule banning barefoot play following the 1948 Olympics[4][5] where India had played barefoot, the popular belief that the Indian team refused to play because they were not allowed to play barefoot is not entirely true, according to the then Indian captain Shailen Manna , it was just a story to cover up the disastrous decision of the AIFF.[2] The team has never since come close to qualifying for the World Cup. [6] The period from 1951 to 1962 is considered the golden era in Indian football. Under the tutelage of legendary Syed Abdul Rahim[7] India became the best team in Asia. The Indian team started the 1950s with their triumph in the 1951 Asian Games which they hosted. India beat both Indonesia and Afghanistan 3–0 to reach the final where they beat Iran 1–0. [8][9] In 1952, India continued their form by winning the Colombo Quadrangular Cup held in Sri Lanka .[10] Later that year they went on to participate in the 1952 Olympics, but lost 10–1 to Yugoslavia . As four years earlier, many of the team played without boots. [11] After the result AIFF immediately made it mandatory to wear boots. [1] India also won three further editions of the Quadrangular Cup Colombo Cup, which were held in Burma , Calcutta and Dhaka in 1953, 1954 and 1955 respectively. [12] India then went on to finish second in the 1954 Asian Games held in Manila .[13] At the 1956 Olympic Games they finished fourth, which is regarded as one of finest achievements in Indian football. India first met hosts Australia , winning 4–2 with Neville D'Souza becoming the first Asian to score a hatrick in the Olympics and also making India the first Asian team to reach the Olympic semi-finals. They lost 4–1 to Yugoslavia , and lost the third place play-off match 3–0 to Bulgaria .[14] India later participated in the 1958 Asian Games in Tokyo where they finished fourth, [15] and the Merdeka Cup 1959 in Malaysia finishing second. [16] India started off 1960 with Asian Cup qualifiers in which they failed to qualify.[17] India went on to win the 1962 Asian Games where they beat South Korea 2–1 in the final, [18] and two years later finished second in the Asian Cup which was held in round-robin format. [19] India played in the Merdeka Cup in 1964, 1965 and 1966 where they finished 2nd, 3rd and 3rd respectively. [12] India later played in the Asian Games in 1966 in Bangkok but were eliminated in first round. [20] India took third place in the 1970 Asian Games , beating Japan 1–0 in the third place, play-off [21] but have failed to qualify for other major tournaments, other than as host, only once since that time. 1971–2000 Failure in a series of qualification tournaments meant that the next time India reach a quarter-final stage was as host in the 1982 Asian Games .[22] Indian Team during Asian Cup 2007 Qualifiers In 1984 India qualified for the Asian Cup again, [23] but failed to make any impact. [24] India won gold medals in the SAF Games of both 1984 (in Dhaka) and 1987 ( Calcutta ). They won the inaugural SAARC Cup in 1993 in Lahore , and finished runner-up in Colombo two years later. By 1997 the competition had been renamed as the SAFF Cup, and India won it in both 1997 and 1999 edition, when they hosted it in Goa.[12] 2000–2010 Although India failed to qualify for the 2004 Asian Cup, the senior team shone in a silver medal-winning performance in the inaugural Afro Asian Games, with victories over Rwanda and Zimbabwe (then 85 places ahead of India in the world rankings) along the way, losing the final by just 1–0 to Uzbekistan .[25] As a result, Indian football has steadily earned greater recognition and respect, both within the country and abroad. In November 2003, Stephen was named AFC Manager of the Month. [25] India could not do much not when they lost to Pakistan and Bangladesh in the 2003 SAFF Cup and defeats in the 2006 World Cup qualifiers meant Stephen Constantine was sacked. [25] The LG Cup win in Vietnam under Stephen Constantine was one of the few bright spots in the early part of the 2000s. It was India's first victory in a football tournament outside the subcontinent after 1974. India defeated hosts Vietnam 3–2 in the final despite trailing 2–0 after 30 minutes. [26] In 2005 Syed Nayeemuddin was appointed as India coach but he was sacked the following year after heavy defeats in 2007 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers. Bob Houghton was later appointed coach of team in 2006. 2007 ONGC Nehru Cup India vs Syria His appointment saw a general progress in India’s performances crowned by victory in 2007 Nehru Cup in August 2007. Houghton led India to the 2008 AFC Challenge Cup title as they beat Tajikistan 4–1 in August 2008. Winning the AFC challenge cup eventually qualified them for the AFC Asian Cup for the first time since 1984. He also oversaw the Indian team to its second consecutive Nehru Cup trophy by winning 2009 Nehru Cup .[27] 2011 AFC Asian Cup In 2011, India started off their campaign by participating in 2011 AFC Asian Cup for which they qualified after 24 years. They were placed in strong Group C along with South Korea, Australia and Bahrain. [28] India lost all three matches but did manage to perform well in patches. Goalkeeper Subrata Pal won a lot of accolades for his performances. [29] Source http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_India_national_football_team |

Mr. Mbaka gave this sermon to thousands of parishioners at his Adoration Prayer Ground in Enugu, Thursday, saying President Jonathan had failed to stem the tide of insecurity and corruption in the country. In the year 2014, we had a lot of bloodshed in this country. People were dying like rats without anybody asking about them. This country suffered a lot of blood experience. Many of us witnessed that people were in tears. Just like the ancient world, the year 2014, the 4 in it had the queen in it, which had to do with death. Our leaders failedus with reckless abandon and nobody asked them question. The so-called democracy was a hidden autocracy. It was deceptive and questionable quack miler. Nigerians suffered hunger unnecessarily. We heard about oil subsidy being removed and added, whatever be(is) their jargon, nobody understood them. We heard about minimum wage, the civil servant suffered, the minimum wage was not paid and we were all calm. In 2015, Nigerians will not be calm again (shouts of AMEN!). We need change. Whatever it will be, let it be. This is my golden message to my beloved country. What actually is happening (Ogini nne me?). The multitude of our youths, the quality young men, quality young women, brilliants youths but nobody has plans for any of you. Our so-called leaders should come and apologize. In 2015, it shall not continue like that (shouts of AMEN). By the grace of God, by the power of the Holy Spirit, we are announcing spiritually, change! 2015 should not be a year of any hooligan maneuvering to hijack power. This is our New Year message. Listen, when you go home, tell anybody you see that from the oracle of the Holy Spirit, we are announcing change (AMEN). Can somebody help me to shout change (shouts of change by the congregation) in Jesus holy name. Look at what it’s like, as I’m yet to bless your families, bless your industries, bless your destinies. Come 2015, your plans are blessed, your vision are blessed, your locomotive society are blessed. I cover this year with the blood of Jesus. I seal this year with the blood of Jesus. My message is in two branches (folds). Number one branch, the theme of this first message to my fellow countrymen is from good luck to bad luck. Once upon a time, the whole countrymen were crying for a leader who will help us move forward with our economy, have an authentic democracy, give our unemployed youths jobs, enable our power to be steady, who will industrialize Nigerians, who will encourage mass education and agriculturalize Nigeria. Having in view that oil will soon drop, give us security in a maximum level. By the grace of God, there emerged a Goodluck, all of us were happy, the Goodluck met Yar’ Adua and Yar’ Adua died. May the Holy Spirit help me as I utter this message, I know many will misunderstand it, but it will stand the test of time and you will know I’m speaking the truth. The Goodluck met Yar’Adua and Yar’Adua died. Before you know it, the Goodluck met our oil and the oil had a bad luck and poured away, before we knew it, the Goodluck met our naira, our naira had a bad luck. Where are we going? What is the fate of this country? Shall we continue like this, we need change (shout of change from the congregation). As I’m speaking with you, most of our civil servants did not celebrate their Christmas. The Christmas season that should be a Goodluck time became a bad luck time for our Nigerians forgetting that very soon, from 3rd January, the children will go back to school and the parent are going to pay school fees. From where? Are they going to use their urine to pay? (Shout of NO from the congregation). But where is the good water even if they are going to use their urine. Are they going to use their stool to pay the school fees of their children? (Shout of NO from the congregation). You have to eat well to defecate. What is the fate of our children? Tears fill my eyes when I see our young graduates hoping and walking our streets. What is the meaning of kidnapping? Kidnapping is the grandson of unemployment. Boko Haram is a grand great child of the same unemployment, mass looting, and poor governance. I’m not saying that Goodluck is a bad man. He is a good man. But he cannot lead Nigeria. As things stand right now, from the oracle of the Holy Spirit, Jonathan should honourably resign quietly and let Nigeria be. The destiny of Nigeria is greater than Goodluck Jonathan. The Goodluck in Jonathan has become a bad luck to Nigerians. Whatever brought him in should send him back and let Nigeria be. By this time in few months to come, many are going to lose their jobs and there is no alternative. During election, Jonathan will answer Azikiwe, Ebele and become an Igbo man and after election, the Ebele, the Azikiwe and Goodluck will vanish from his identity. Who is fooling who actually? Look at our federal roads, we are not even asking for new ones, roads built by Buhari and Babangidas — the so called Hausa people— cannot be maintained. Follow Enugu here to Onitsha, children born some years ago do not know that there was a lane along the other side of Isiagwu and we are all saying continue. The continuity of Jonathan means disaster to Nigeria. We need change. May the Holy Spirit help me to vocalize what he has shown to me while I was waiting on him to give me a message for my people? I’m worried about the future of you my children. Go to school, go to school, mention any government school functioning in Nigeria now? Our schools are dilapidated. Nigeria is like an egg about to break in the hands of Jonathan Goodluck and we cannot allow it to happen. It is so unfortunate that pastors are becoming vultures around the president. Pastors are becoming hawks around him, eating the porridge of Jacob and selling their prophetic rights. And anointing is being merchandised in Aso Rock, carrying our nairas, turning it to dollars and carrying it in jets moving out of the country. Listen, this is the voice on the pulpit: all these men of God, who are telling Jonathan to continue because they are benefitting one thing or the other, you should question your apostolic, prophetic anointing. What the Bible say is that Samson did not know that the Holy Spirit had left him. Let them watch if the Holy Spirit is still in them. Listen, they will begin to tell us this one is a Christian the other one is a Muslim. I don’t believe in that. Who is a Christian more than Judas? Did Judas not betray Jesus? Judas was not just a Christian, he was not just a mere apostle, he was a super apostle like a cardinal but at a time he messed up and Bible says his office, let another take. That is the normal thing. The way Nigeria is going right now, the office of Goodluck Jonathan let another take. I’m not campaigning for anybody. I’m filled with tears over what is happening in Nigeria. Some of us who have nongovernmental organisations funding charity, I know what I’m suffering. The more they are looting our resources, the more they are rending you unemployed, the more some of us suffer the more. If I have been paying for the school fees of 500 people, it would now jack up to 3000, or more. What the government should do, individuals are struggling to achieve. When there is no road, no power, all this fake promises… where is the power? That Onitsha Bridge, has it now been built? No. After 6 years, and Goodluck has what it takes to do whatever. He surrounded himself with hooligans. By the time he comes down, he won’t have anybody to work with. He played himself into the hands of hooligans. My interest is about the wellness of this country. Nigeria must survive what we are passing through by the help of God. The same God who saved us from Ebola will save us from this bad luck season (shouts of AMEN from the congregation). Look at it, there was a time there was an argument about pension fund – such billions. Who is talking about it now? Billions and we were hearing it… from excess crude oil money, where is the impact of the excess crude oil money? Now from oil boom, it has met a bad luck; it’s now oil doom. If my father will be my leader and my siblings will all die, let a stranger be my leader and let my family be. All I’m trying to tell you is that we have not entered into any covenant with anybody. Last time, the First Lady came here. We are not partisan; we welcomed her. We did a spiritual drama here. Lifted four birds to fly up, the main one that should fly up refused to go. I did everything possible and that one is the healthiest of them all but refused to fly and the spirit of God said, don’t disturb him. When God rejected Saul, David took over. Let me tell you, in the history of Nigeria, we have never experience bloodshed as we have in the time of Goodluck. If Goodluck means bloodshed for Nigerians are you waiting until your own blood is shed? (shouts of No from the congregation). We need change, however God will do it. Look at the insecurity if you go to the northern part of Nigeria. My fellow priest, my fellow pastors, don’t just stand up to attack this message, because you have mouth. Think well before you put your mouth, the voice is beyond your own contribution. Listen, are you waiting for your own church to be bombed before you speak out? If you go to Maiduguri, some parishes have closed down. Go to Potiskum. People no longer go to church on Sundays in many parts of this country. Now imagine a scenario where a president cannot fight a simple insurgence. This is not an external country attack o. It is not like another country invaded Nigeria. It is an intra distraction. And many of us are claiming that it was because Buhari said that he was going to make Jonathan’s government ungovernable. Listen, let’s assume Buhari said something like that, even though it’s not Buhari who said it. So if you are the president and somebody say something like that, will you not arrest such a person? 1 Like |

FUNNY TIME! An Edo Man invited his friends for his mother's burial. After lowering the coffin, the family put yam, rice, meat etc, into the grave in line with tradition. A Hausa Man asked why? The Edo man smiled and said, "According to our tradition, the dead go on a long journey and need all the food items they can get". The Igbo man dropped N100,000 inside and said, "When the food finish, buy more". The Yoruba man dropped N50,000 and said, "Add this incase it's not enough." The Hausa man smiled and brought out his cheque book and wrote a cheque of N200,000, dropped it in the coffin and took the N150,000 notes as change, then said "Dan uwa, withdraw it when you reach dia kaji?.. It is going to be a dangerous journey we don't know how many robbers are out there and after all we are in a cashless economy. Travel well oh! Pwahahahaha...! |
