Area Councils elections in Abuja are always very tough being that political officies are limited to the indigenes (which is unfair to the people). Howbeit, This elections will serve as a prelude to what we should expect in the forthcoming elections in the year and the 2023 presidentials. We are watching to see how inec conduct this. 2 Likes |

Creating more problems and less solutions have been the order of the day with the leadership of this country. The traders are now left to their fate. Why can't there be a provisional market that these traders can be moved to before demolishing the shops they toiled so hard to acquire. Only God can help us now. |

Religion / The Real Reason Why We Are Still Here by rectitude(m): 5:26pm On Jan 10, 2021 |
PASSION FOR THE LOST ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME "…there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth" (LUKE 15:10) Our purpose for remaining on earth today is to win souls unto the Lord and mature in Christ. We’re not here just to accumulate wealth and riches that’ll perish with this world, these aren’t of any eternal value. When you study the earthly ministry of the Lord Jesus, you’ll observe that reaching the people was the focus of His ministry. An example was when He took time to preach to the woman at the well, even though He was very tired and hungry (JOHN 4:5-26). When the disciples saw the way His face lit up as He spoke to the woman, they were convinced He had eaten something. When they asked Him about it, His response was, “…My meat (food) is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work” (John 4:34); put differently, “My nourishment is to win souls.” Just like Jesus, I love to win souls; I love to tell people about His love for mankind. This is the reason we’re reaching people through every available means with this gospel of the grace of God. The Lord Jesus said, “…I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth” (Luke 15:10), and He used the parable of the prodigal son to elucidate on this statement. This parable is of utmost importance. Consider the father’s response to his son’s return and the ensuing homecoming celebration. You see, every time you win a soul to the Lord, you’re creating much celebration in heaven. Just as the Lord Jesus said, there’s much rejoicing in heaven when a soul converts to the Lord. The angels celebrate so much over one sinner that repents because that’s the purpose for the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible says the Lord is unwilling that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), and for this reason He patiently waits for us to win them. Make soulwinning your utmost priority today; let your mind be preoccupied with it. Begin to come up with effective strategies to win more and more people to the Lord. Let’s make it an endless celebration for the angels, and the hosts of heaven. FURTHER STUDY: DANIEL 12:3 Help spread God's word around the world via Online by sharing this Post. |

The truth is, Covid19 is not as lethal as they make it look, they've successfully spread this fear through all means necessary. You people were blind when a few started suspecting foul play in this whole thing. And you were ignorantly raining abuses on them and calling them names as is the manner of most of you here. Well, i guess now you're beginning to hear some glimpse of the real thing from the same people who were used to spread the fear in the first place. 8 Likes |

It is now obvious that some people here are controlled by demons and have been blinded to not know the truth or give a thought to it, or even think outside the box they've been confined to. Hence, they attack anything religious, Godly or Men of God who have done no harm to them. Some people are doomed for life and I can only pray that the wise be not deceived by their posts and comments on issues that tends to show light. They are opposers of the Truth. If you think everything is conspiracy theories and don't have fact, then let it be. But let the wise make their personal research and they'll see the truth about the siege on the world right now. 2 Likes |

This is the wrong place to ask this type of question as most people here are Spiritually not inclined. Having said that, you should pay your tithe. Because the Bible says you should try him in paying your tithe and see if he will not open the windows of heaven and pour out his blessings. So this may be the right time to prove him on his word. Faith may look foolish in the eyes of men, but know that you can never be a fool for Faith. 9 Likes 1 Share |

Sports / Ramos Reveals What He Really Thinks About Messi by rectitude(m): 9:35pm On Feb 28, 2020 |
The 33-year-old centre-back expressed his admiration for the Argentine, whom he considers to be one of the best players in the history of the game Sergio Ramos has revealed he holds Barcelona counterpart Lionel Messi in high regard and, despite the rivalry between the Catalans and Real Madrid, he still considers him to be one of the best players ever. Six-time Ballon d'Or winner Messi is having another hugely impressive season, with his numbers in 2019-20 seeing him score 23 goals in 29 appearances in all competitions for Barca, while he also has 16 assists. Madrid host Barca in Sunday's eagerly-anticipated Clasico clash, with Ramos and Messi set to go head-to-head once again, and the Spain international admits to having the utmost respect for his Argentine rival. "I have huge respect for him," he told La Liga. "I think he’s one of the greatest players in history and I have huge respect for him. I hope Sunday isn’t his day, that would mean we’ve done our job, and if on top of that we can get a good result even better. "I wish him all the best as a fellow professional but only as long as it doesn’t affect us negatively! It’s hard, but he has my maximum respect, I think he’s one of the best." Sunday's Clasico clash represents an opportunity for Madrid to leapfrog their rivals at the top of the table, with Zinedine Zidane's side having suffered a surprise 1-0 defeat to Levante in their last league match. Los Blancos are also coming off the back of a humbling 2-1 loss at home to Manchester City in the last 16 of the Champions League, although Ramos is confident Madrid know how to get the better of Barca. When asked how his side can cause the Catalans problems, Ramos said: "We’ve played them many times, so we know how to trouble them. Barcelona are a team who keep possession a lot. They’re most uncomfortable when you try to take it from them. Everyone knows that, not just Real Madrid. "Putting pressure on them high up is risky but it causes them problems. Before it didn’t happen so much, maybe because teams gave them too much respect and they would play the ball out from the back really well. But I think that’s the key: pressure high up the pitch and try to steal the ball from them, that’s when they’re most uncomfortable. "There’s always the risk that up top they’ve got very dangerous players who can be decisive in El Clasico. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that, that we maintain our concentration from the first minute until the last and that things turn out as we want them to." With three points potentially being crucial in the race for the Liga title, with just 13 matches remaining in the 2019-20 season, it's not lost on Ramos as to how important a victory would be at the Bernabeu. He added: "It will be very tight. The points difference between both sides is minimal and the result could be decisive this season. "But there’s still a long way to go, there are still a lot of points up for grabs and anything can happen. But a win would be huge for us, playing at home in front of our fans. That gives us extra motivation and satisfaction; together with them we’re stronger. "Our rivals have to feel that, and so do we when we’re out there on the pitch. Hopefully we can make a statement with a win at home." 1 Like |
