I said it Dangote is in Business to make profit and dictate the direction in that ministry along with other crooks in NNPC and ministry of Finance...
Politics / Re: Pictures And Video Of NNPC Trucks Already In Dangote Refinery by REDshouse(m): 10:53pm On Sep 14
I learnt the marketers will also be paying

1. NPA dues
2. Custom
3. Nimasa
4. FIRS
5. OTHER HIDDEN CHARGES

Pls watin concern custom, nimasa, and Nigeria Port Authority on local manufacturer or locally refined petroleum....this is absolutely useless...

All these dues will continue to make fuel price high...

Let them pay FIRS only

And Why must NNPC be the one to buy from Dangote and resell to truck drivers...

So many secret deals

Which of the law sir?
The law we have in Nigeria or which one?

The same law that binds security from going on strike and detailing how their grievances is being attended to

So if they are treated badly at work and no one is listening to them
Suggest how they should pass their greivances.

The law will address their grievances... And they will all know from onset before applying for such job ... How is security addressing their own issues or do you think they are also happy.. but they know what they signed up for and so be it ...

This is why there needs to be another emergency law to criminalize shutting down national grid
. Exactly .. electricity workers, medical workers , communication workers and security officers should never go on strike ..we need a law to put them all in same category of people that will never go on strike .

How do you know that he will sell at #1000?

This analysis is wrong.
Why can't you for a moment be optimistic?

What is ur own analysis .... A chronic debtor NNPC owing international marketers 6b dollars coming to your shop to deal, will u also be ready to deal with such person...
Politics / Re: NNPC To Become Sole Buyer As Dangote Refinery Begins Production by REDshouse(m): 5:55am On Sep 03
Johnson5258:
If your analysis is correct, Dangote is not supposed to sell to NNPC at all, let's wait for the outcome of things before berging into conclusion.

Another question is, why did the marketers initially proposed 600 naira to Dangote, even ahead of production?

Let NNPC produce from her refineries and sell to Nigeria at 200naira per liter ...let Dangote sell at whatever rate he want to sell...
Politics / Re: NNPC To Become Sole Buyer As Dangote Refinery Begins Production by REDshouse(m): 5:53am On Sep 03
Realdeals:
That could be because Dangote is not getting the crude oil on willing seller basis. He's obviously getting those crude supply at a discount from Nigeria.
Dangote don't need discount from Nigeria ... Let NNPC produce from her refineries and sell at lower rate this is what we need to reduce price of fuel... NNpc should concentrate of her refineries and leave other private biz to function as they wish

It's to stop Independent Marketers from their Sharp practices of buying the products cheaper and taking it to Cameroon, Mali, Niger, Chad, Benin Republic and Togo to maximize profits.

I don't know if you have observed that Independent Marketers are building new petrol stations despite the present fuel crisis.

They're doing that in anticipation of Dangote fuel and PH Refinery working perfectly to allow for smuggling to neighbouring countries.

Smuggling will continue as long as our border security is porous it has nothing to do with NNPC buying fuel directly from Dangote or independent markers... Let NNPC concentrate on her refineries and ensure it produce products optimally... I can not build a house and you come to tell me which woman to bring inside ....
Politics / Re: NNPC To Become Sole Buyer As Dangote Refinery Begins Production by REDshouse(m): 5:47am On Sep 03
kellybently:

Your analysis is wrong. Cost of importation is what make the fuel more expensive.
are we also importing cement to make it's cost of production high... The truth is the cost of Brent is high and as long as NNPC refineries can not produce fuel for the Nation let Dangote Breath ..NNPC should concentrate on how it's 3 refineries will work optimally to service the nation.
Politics / Re: NNPC To Become Sole Buyer As Dangote Refinery Begins Production by REDshouse(m): 5:44am On Sep 03

Why can't Dangote bring the deal to 568, I thought that was the whole agreement with the FG...

That he sells fuel to us at lower price..

I thought that was what he preached
Dangote is a private company who is meant to make profit, the arrangements with Fg failed when FG could not fulfil and sustain it's share in the company... You don't expect dangote a private company to buy crude at international price and sale below cost of production... So leave dangote alone let NNPC concentrate on her refinery to service the nation... NNPC refineries can sell at whatever rate dim fit as far as they are the owner of crude and it's refinery capacity.... Leave Dangote to decide where to buy it's crude from and who to sale it's crude to ...don't influence dangote just regulate and collect dues for FG
Politics / Re: NNPC To Become Sole Buyer As Dangote Refinery Begins Production by REDshouse(m): 5:36am On Sep 03
TheDemola:

It could be an arrangement that will make crude oil available to Dangote which will then make petrol available to the masses. It could be a win win situation. Let's see

It is a shady arrangement... Sell crude to dangote in naira and leave dangote to sort out how he sale. The output sales should not be NNPC problem they are meant to be regulatory body and not a middle man ...

It's like saying NCC should buy all network airtime and data and resell to Nigeria ... Or NERC to buy from Disco and resell to Nigeria ...

They are meant to regulate and collect dues for the govt no more no less
Politics / Re: NNPC To Become Sole Buyer As Dangote Refinery Begins Production by REDshouse(m): 9:06pm On Sep 02
This is a very bad move by NNPC ..why will NNPC buys from Dangote and not allow dangote a willing seller to sell fuel to willing buyer,

My deduction from this is that subsidy will still remain cos dangote will sell at 1000naira per litre to NNPC while NNPC sells to Nigeria at 568 naira per liter.. in the long run it wont be sustainable and thereby resulting in NNPC owing Dangote and creating another set of crisis ....

Politics / Re: Cement Sellers Frustrated BUA From Selling At N3500 Per Bag – Rabiu by REDshouse(m): 10:13am On Aug 30
immortalcrown:
Open a distribution point in every local government area. Then, whoever does not want to boycott dealers and get cement from your distribution points will have himself or herself to blame. The distribution points will also address the issues of hoarding and rebaging.

But can we know what it actually costs a dealer to get a bag of cement from your company (transportation included)? Some managers in the company may be doing dirty deals with those dealers. One dealer can monopolize available supply by tipping the manager of the manufacturing company. The tipping cost is later transferred to the end-users.

We should also put into consideration how landlords hike shop rent and state or local government authorities use thugs to collect unjustifiable levies from the traders who are already drained by rent. I'm not denying the selfishness and greed of traders. I just want us to balance the judgement.
the dealers will go to the distribution point to buy at 3500 and resell at 7000 to 8000 it's still d same thing ...
