He had complained to obi on how the campaign funds were being embezzled by Aisha and co.

Abure warned Obi severally a few weeks to the election, that polling agents across all the Polling units were yet to be mobilised by the party and that obi should release part of the campaign funds from the Obi-Datti campaign team to facilitate the mobilization of LP Polling unit agents to which Obi ignored.

We all know that some unscrupulous people will try to twist whatever Peter Obi says to mean another thing, just because they want their preferred candidate to win. They see Obi as a threat, and rightly so, he is. But nobody should allow misrepresentation fly.

They are now saying that Peter Obi is against drop in food prices, that it would make local farmers poor. But this what Obi said

"Someone told me that food prices have gone down. Actually, we have killed all our farmers. Because we have imported cheap goods and thrown our farmers into poverty which will worsen the hungry situation of Nigeria in the coming future"

What I believe Obi was trying to tell Nigerians here is that the seeming drop in food prices was due to importation, which would adversely affect affect local production in the future

And your point , we should keep the prices of food high so that famers can be happy and millions of Nigeria will die hungry ...

The life of a young boy was cut short at Ojileru Street, Oworo, due to the demolition of properties by the Lagos State Government.

At the resumption of the demolition of various properties in Oworonshoki, Lagos State, a young boy was found dead at Ojileru Street, Oworonshoki. The exact cause of his death was unknown as at the time of this report, but some people present at the scene alleged that the boy may have been electrocuted.
Eyewitnesses said the incident occurred amidst confusion as residents struggled to salvage their belongings from their demolished homes. Many families were already displaced, with children and elderly persons exposed to harsh conditions without adequate shelter or protection. In the midst of the chaos, the boy was reportedly discovered lifeless, sending shock and grief through the community.

Residents expressed anger and sorrow, accusing the authorities of carrying out the exercise without putting proper safety measures in place or providing alternative accommodation for affected families. They lamented that what was meant to be a government action turned into a tragic loss of an innocent life.

As of the time of filing this report, officials were yet to release an official statement on the incident, while members of the community continued to demand a thorough investigation and accountability. For many in Oworo, the incident is not just about demolition, but about the human cost of policies carried out without compassion, planning, and adequate protection for vulnerable citizens.
