Oyedepo is a useless man of god very unfortunate
Please stop. And don't repeat this. Thank you. Bishop Oyedepo is a Yoruba man and here in our land everyone is totally free to air their opinion and champion the course of their believes ok but it's all about the people. Despite Bishop Oyedepo talks and all before the elections APC and Tinubu won Yorubaland with wide margins other than Lagos. He's free to take a stand, it's his fundamental right. It's the same way Pa Adebanjo can say whatever even against the position he occupies and all.

It was totally glaring that no one had not even a single iota of influence over an average man during the election as we supported our own massively. Even I as a bonafide Winners chapel member voted and canvassed for Tinubu with every bit o me.

Yorubaland is free from influence and stupidity. Tinubu was our candidate and our son and we came out enmasse for him. Ondo and Ekiti state which is state to the largest christian base in Yoruba land is a typical example.

Politics / Re: Fasoranti To Adebanjo: It’s Illegal To Assert Obi Won Presidential Poll by Refinedbeing(m): 1:31pm On Mar 30, 2023
This Adebanjo of a man is the worst of all the leaders of Afenifere I've ever lived to know.

It's even difficult to tell if he's merely using the position to become a politician or make gains from politician or indeed care about the Yoruba race like WTF. Afenifere is supposed to look after the Yoruba race worldwide an not start fighting the interest of the same Yoruba race.

Who made that dude the leader in the first place self. Which tribe and state is that dude also from. We've always done our part here in Ondo state I mean.

Sold intbrew then it started moving today.....na wa o
Same here. Bought at 4.90 only for it to drop to 4.85. needed the cash for something else after waiting a while then sold it off only to chack back later and saw it closed at 4.95 later that evening. Now it's 5.05. I can't cry honestly. Ardova is doing same thing to me right now. My mind buys these things for a reason. I should have trusted it on IntBrew. Same mind picked Ardova of all and since then it's been depreciating but I'm keeping this one. Don't wanna make same mistake I did with Intbrew.

It's Morgan Capital iTrade displaying live trades.

Our advice here has always been that you should register directly with a digital broker to trade Nigerian stocks.
How do I register with them please?
Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Refinedbeing(m): 5:51pm On Jan 13, 2022
yMcy56:

Check your CSCS statement first.
You can request a copy from your broker if you dont have direct access to CSCS online.
If it's there, you inform your broker to credit your trading acct with the units.

Here's the email for FR: info@firstregistrarsnigeria.com
I'm in same situation as that man. What do you suggest. My dad actually gave my sister this Spring bank share certificates (2 certificates) and I think Afribank registrar's limited handles the share certificate. Now that Spring bank is defunct or maybe acquired by whom I don't know and even the certificates has 20th September 2006 as the date on both certificates. I just made some research online and it seems the registrar which is Afribank is still much open. Please guys how do I go about it to claim this shares. Everything is right here (I mean both certificates and Afribank registrar's limited letter that comes with it.

I'm still to fix my passport and i wouldn't want to risk but i'm planning to visit Porto Novo with a friend. And as Nigerian government wouldn't issue us the ECOWAS card unlike others, can my friend and i enter Porto Novo legally with our NIMC?

FluxEmpire:
I'd make your research narrower by telling you to look for someone with HP Elitebook 8530p.
I think that should be the first HP laptop model with keyboard light. So, as long as you don't go with the usual thing most users would complain of like:
- It's an old model (released in 2008)
- It's bulky
- I want a slim or sleek laptop
- I want a core i3 or i5
- It's sorta heavy and the likes, then you can get this laptop for around 55k-65k with a core 2 duo | 160gb HDD | 2gb RAM | at best. So, that should be what you're looking for.

PS. If you're going for this model, Sir...make your due diligence to ensure it's one with a backlit keyboard and not just go for it because I said so.
Its nice looking actually. Thanks for all the info. They've been helpful.

It baffles me that some people have not come to terms with what Federal Government really mean.

Even as influential as Dangote with his money, foreign network and contacts/connections can't dare the Federal government.
El-zazaky with the most dreaded followers is still cooling off in confinement.

Kanu who boasted that he can play God with his 2m men is in the dungeon of the DSS without a single protest from his so call 2m men in Nigeria soil.
What about the great Tompolo of old, where is he?
After God fear Government!
I too dey hate dis fear government of a tin. When Tunisians ready for Ali, na him run las las. Ghadaffi, Haillie selassie, Haiti President. Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria no get government? Blacks just no too get mind for revolution. Fear govt my foot. Wen citizens(People) ready for you na u and your nonsense govt go run. Eritrea vs Ethiopia, Somaliland vs Somalia, Western Sahara vs Morocco. Go figure. Nonsense and fear govt. Mtcheew

Just don't expect many people to reply you... Either you up your budget to get one that has a keyboard light or you go for something else or forget about getting a laptop... Except it's a worn, tired looking laptop. On the rare occasion, the seller is desperately looking for cash.
You neva can tell. Better deal might pop out at the end.

Capital NO!!! Sir. Not even an inferior model laptop. Pains & kills to hear consumers plan budgets like these. Just the least keyboard light to a laptop would cost about 10k (just don't even go near Lenovo keyboards with lights), then how much are you getting other parts for if we're to ask?
I sure can amend my budget with little increment but 50k is the original budget and i've got to research which is what i'm doing right now.

Education / Re: Cut-Off Marks Into Unity Schools: 134 For South-East, Anambra 139, 2 For Zamfara by Refinedbeing(m): 7:53am On Jul 06, 2021

The DOT states are not doing badly at all.

Many people misunderstand the plight of poor Northern children in this cut-off point show of shame. The reality is that while Northern elite send their children to top-drawer private schools, these young poorly educated cut-off-point victims never make it at SSCE and UME. They generally drop out, doing odd jobs and many becoming drug addicts. The young people who use quota system to secure plum jobs are still children of the elite. Head or tail the rich and influential win.
Then they should hold their leader instead of draging us all. Or better still demand for their own country where it will be just them and their rules.

NairalandAngel:

Financing a business as an angel investor is the worst possible mistake a person can make in Nigeria because an average Nigerian is very dishonest!

Personally I would strongly advise against releasing your money to fund a business venture in Nigeria without the added comfort of a strong collateral.

Business finance by angel investors is a viable means for start-ups and small business to obtain cheap and fast funding in other countries but in Nigeria it's the best way to burn your money if you try it as an investor
I doubt if there are any angel investor(s) in Nigeria self. Nigerians are too evil. Investing privately(i.e personally and not as a company) on Nigerians ideas, startups is really risky. Just too risky.

Business is not done based on sentiments!

You have not even stated any value or skills you will provide, you have only stated all your problems and how you have no collateral bla bla bla

Only a very foolish person will give you a loan of 5M in the circumstances you have outlined!
Funny. Am i actually asking for loan here or just seeking opinion. grin So apparently i have to upload my business plan with that? grin
