Anyways! There are two sides to every matter. I support the deportation of people to their places of origin. I support sending them back to their families. Atleast their state government should offer them refuge. Why should someone be stuck in a big city like Lagos, Abuja, Port-Harcourt and co and not have any reasonable source of livelihood, no shelter, no food, no access to healthcare, nothing.. They just loiter and beg on the streets. Some of these people atimes cant go back home because of shame. Some genuinely feel they have nothing to go back to. I feel that its easier for such people to survive in the villages where food is cheap, farmlands are cheap and available and depending on, sometimes even shelter is available to them.

My father started out in Port-harcourt as a young graduate looking to get out. He just had me then and when he his house got robbed (whilst he was on a trip), he returned home to nothing and packed up and went back to the village. Went back to farming. His father had a house so accomodation was free, he had several lands (from family sharing lands) so he farmed on some. He got a job from the village that took him to lagos.

Its from this destitute and desparate position that vices like robbery, 419, hawking, drug dealing, street begging, killing for rituals, kidnapping, e.t.c start..

I support deportation of illegal immigrants and persons who have no business being in the big city.. Return home.
