Good evening all I am new on this platform...please what are the necessary information I need to know. All I desire is a relocation to Canada and I am trying to gather the necessary information. Thank you

Good morning mamas first timer here. Baby is 2weeks 2days today. God bless our Los

BS! BS!! BS!!!

My antenatal was on 9th nov but I skipped it and went straight to see the doctor cos I was already 40weeks 6days. I had passed my LMP EDD and also the first scan. I have been on zobo for a while climbing stairs taking walks even dancing but no contractions nothing. Baby seems to be taking his time. But I was trying so hard not to be worried.
So on the 9th of November the doctor checked me and said I will have to be induced and he booked me for that day.
But I wasn't prepared even dh wasn't in town too, I had to sign in my file that I will come back tomorrow for the induction. Went back Saturday saw another Doctor Who said I should wait till when I was 41weeks 3days that's when they induce. So Nov 13th came I packed my bags off to the hospital with hubby. He had to donate blood on Saturday, even though we know we won't need it. I was induced 1.50pm within 5mins the stuff inserted popped out I was checked and the nurse said I was already 5cm. Wow within few minutes?!
The nurses were even surprised cos they said I wasn't acting like someone who was that gone. Anyways I was transferred to the delivery room at 4.50 pm then the contractions started to hit me so hard. By the time it was 830 I couldn't contain myself one of the nurses was like I shouldn't disappoint her that I have been doing so well but then no be my fault Naa the contractions.
I think after few minutes she tried listening to the heartbeat of the baby and the expression on her face wasn't good she called for the doctor to come listen too. I asked what the problem was and was told the baby might be in distress that his heartbeat was right. I quickly started confessing telling my baby you will be fine. They had to have another doctor on ground a pediatrician so he can attend to baby immediately he is out.
I called hubby on phone told him to start praying for our baby, he was just outside the door wasn't allowed in.
Thank God at exactly 10.19pm my baby made his grand entrance weighing 3.5kg and he cried was checked and everything fine. I had to be stitched because there was tears.
The next morning we were discharged.
I look at it all and I can't but see how difficult it is to separate God's mercy and favor from it all. Delivery was fast and labor was short for a first time mum it only took a duration of 8hours from induction to delivery. It can only be baba God. I give him all the glory.

Baby mum and dad are doing wonderfully well.

I really want to appreciate all of you for helping the journey to be successful. I learnt alot on this platform. God bless us all

My handsome bouncing spirit filled boy made his grand entrance on Monday at exactly 10.19pm.
Baby doing good mum and dad tremendously happy.

Please don't take flagyl. Since you are in the 40th week I guess you are in labour already. Purging and vomiting are pre labour package for some people. Please check with your doc. Wishing you safe and victorious delivery.

Thanks mama Adele, she checked me but said labor will soon start. I took GARRI in the middle of the night and the stooling still didn't stop.

I have used the drug sha I confirmed from my SIL who is also a nurse and knowing you also took and it didn't affect u is a consolation too.

I took flagyl a day to my delivery sef.. I started taking it from 2nd trimester. But you can use garri to stop the stool if u are not sure.
Did he check u to know if Labour hasn't started?

At the delivery table
The fetal monitor was strapped again and was so discomforting. As its been strapped, I would loosening it to feel comfortable. Each time I did this, the nurse would return to tighten again..lolz. Then she tried to check how far I had gone, but I found it difficult again. In my head I was like, you people are wicked faa trying to check me for dilation while contracting was the highest form of wickedness…lotflmao.
She couldn’t again and she told me categorically that I would be taken to the theatre for delivery. Immediately, I rejected it telling her I would have a normal delivery. Not that CS is a bad idea but I would probably need to break a bank to have that option. While on the table, I would gist with the nurse asking them to either carry my leg or massage it etc. At a point, I held one of the Nurses’ trousers firmly to relieve contraction, then I would pull my hair(natural hair gang tinz) for relief (thank God the Hairdresser babe no show up, I for don loss the hair at the delivery table).
While I was gisting with the nurses trying to know what was happening to me and my baby at every point my pastor’s wife was wishing I would just stop talking to save my strength when it was time to push. I was checked again and the nurse told me I wasn’t cooperating at all and I shouldn’t blame them if anything happened to the baby. I responded I was returning home with my baby alive. DH was called to get me some thing to drink and I opted for water. I drank some water and few minutes later, I saw the nurses(English speakers and native speakers) packing there baggages and I felt they had given up on me. I called them and asked what was happening and I heard the greatness news ever “we can see the head of your baby and we are going to bring in the delivery things”. I was super excited that the wait was over. I spoke to my Lo told her she need to cooperate at this point and to receive the strength to come forth. She replied me “mum, I am trying”…Lolz funny, right?. But I heard her.
I was quickly tutored on how to push and to the glory of God My Joy arrived weighing 3.0kg with some tears at about 1am officially (Hospital report) but my husband recorded 12:53am was when he heard her cry. Going by DH timing, I delivered on 11:53pm Nigerian time on sept 25 and September 26 at 12:53am (Rwandan time).

Amen amen. Welcome to our month of enlargement and increase. Team November no loss no complications easy stress free delivery for us all

But I took advantage of the time to pray and all. Even DH helped with rubbing my back maybe that mit help for where? He ended up sleeping off after few minutes

Oh your own is second night sef. You are lucky sha.
My own is more than a month now and am just 6 months. I've peed like 3ice already since 9 last night.

What helps me go back to sleep is to lie on a cool surface and in a relaxed position and clear my head of random thoughts. Its easier if you do some random exercise during the day.

Anyone awake? This is the second night in a row I will be wide awake after visiting the toilet.
Abegi any advice on how to get back to sleep.

My princess arrived yesterday, at exactly 8:42pm weighing 3.5kg with a little tear. Mother and Baby doing great, father has been jumping and dancing since yesterday. Lol

I thank God for the grace and the privilege to be a mother.

I wish the remaining September mothers safe delivery of their Lo's. May God who did it for me do it for you all.

We started with 6 members, now we're here! How far teamies? Please supply us with lo's gender if you've found out. As for me, scan so far haven't shown, and dh said till October before another scan.

Have we started feeling the braxton hicks yet? I think I have, but not very regularly yet. But the kicks and tumblings are so much a times I feel lo wants to jump out!

And Chai! I discovered stretch marks on my tummy!! I used to be happy, thinking there was no stretch marks o, until one day... And dh had been seeing it all the while o, yet he never told me I accused him and he said he thought it was a normal phase. Biko, what can I use to remove them oo Abi they will go on their own after delivery? I rubbed Shea butter on it, but I don't know if it's effective. Chai! Motherhood is bae. Dh said I should leave it, so that it will not disturb his child

And yes, please, our Muslim mamas, please we won't mind our share of the Sallah ram o. Please post your addresses and expect preggy visitors this season. I'm not missing out this time.

Well if you have a blender, you can use it to remove the skin from the beans after soaking for like 2mins, then blender for like 2mins probably don't use the puree button on the blender. You then remove from blender (the aim is to separate the skin from the beans not to actually blend to puree) you keep pouring water and draining out the skin until it's clean.
Then it's back into the blender with other ingredients and you can now blend to puree.

That's how I made breakfast. But I think when you are making in large quantity it might look more stressful though

I had the most beautiful girl on planet earth yesterday sometime before 5pm, I don't know her weight yet but she is here in the ward with me where I can see the nurses feed and bath her....

She very healthy and bigger than some babies that reach to term..
