1. Are you born again?
2. is your fiance born again?
if both of you are born again then pray, God will definately guide you. we are living in the world where Religion has taken over the church. if you are commited to the vision of your church, you will look for a woman who is also commited to your doctrine. is you fiance commited in her own church?. What is your responsiblity in your church? this kind of marriage many a time brings problem because of the different background of religion but if both of you can endure both of you can live happliy because it is the word of God that builds a marriage and not parental background. let me ask you this, when you eventual got married, which church will both of you attend? all these questions must be sorted out before taking any steps. let it not be after marriage that is when you are making your decision.
In your marital home or life, who do you want to please; your father, yourself or wife or God. Think of what will become of you when you please either of these persons. you must listen to God.
Brother, Frankly speaking if you married the girl be ready to face problem with your dad and your family. Although, if the girl qualifies the kind of girl you need in life then ask the Holy Spirit to Direct your path and take control.

If religion have it that christ was crucified on good Friday,it means Christ resurrected before the third day. lets say,He was crucified on Friday eve, by Saturday eve it will be one day and by Sunday eve it will be two days. Though we were told that the women came to the Tomb on Sunday Morning.

Well, What is going to be is not really going to be if only you allow it to be.
Some of your responses are really wonderful.
As one of the responses (Newmi) said in Deut 30:19 that God had set before us good and bad. so whichever one you choose is your choice.

Remember, the Bible says in Prov 18:21 "that LIFE and DEATH are in the power of your tongue". so if you speak life you get LIFE and if you speak death you get DEATH. That is not God responsibility anymore. He had given you the power to control our world.

Besides, there's a king called Hezikiah (Ish 38) that God Said he would die through a prophet, but the king argued his case with God and God gave him an additional 15years. Is that not wonderful!

"what Is Going To Be Is Going To Be" is not a true statement for a child of God.

Deut 29:29 says 'the secret things belong to God but the things he revealed to us belong to his children"

That means Isaac would have done something for Esau to changed his Destiny because God revealed it to him, so he could change it.

Yes! The Apostles were born again. To be Born Again means to have Eternal Life. When Jesus was on the Earth, Eternal Life came by just Believing in the Son of God. Jn 3:16 Says “ For God So love the world that He gave His only Begotten Son that whosoever Believe in Him should not perish but have Everlasting life. As at that time all the Apostles believe in Jesus and that guaranteed them to be Born Again.

PRINCIPLES FOR A SUCCESSFUL MARRIAGE (Volume 1)

Marriage comprises two persons with opposite sex coming together to live as one. Living a successful and a happy married life is not a twist of fate or magic. A successful marriage is not necessary a relationship that shows off wealth and splendor, but it is an association that has peace and understanding irrespective of their financial status. There are principles that must be adhered to for a marriage to work out.

These principles are:

1.    Their Belief[/b]: Their belief tends to portray their mindsets and their mindsets tend to portray their behaviors and their behaviors tend to portray their actions. Since they are from different background and Belief, there is bound to be conflict between them, but what is important here is their level of understanding and patience. They should be able to work out a standard for qualifying what should be acceptable or not; whether they should rely on their experience or the word of God? Don’t disregard each other Belief, but with time they will be able to work out modality to accommodate the right Belief. The Bible says in Amos 3:3 “Can two work together except they agree”.

2. Marriage is a Secret: Marriage as instituted by God is supposed to be one of the most secret relationships between couples, but many have taken it as an avenue of fairy tales and talk shows. The Bible says in Gen2:24 that “Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave unto his wife; and they shall be one flesh”. This shows that Marriage is an intimate relationship between a man and a woman without both parents’ interventions. Either of them shouldn’t present the other as a talk show before her parents or friends or vice visa. It is not everything they say in their closet that should be heard outside. They don’t necessary require both parents and friends to be their lawyers and judges all the time. All they require is God direction, but if need arises for external counselor they should be wise enough to reserve certain intimacy.

3. Avoid Unnecessary Lies: Lies at the beginning of every relationship seem to be a binding force but turn out to be a destructive element in the future. They eat up a relationship gradually as the locust eats up a plant. Trust is the foundation of every relationship, but when trust is betrayed the foundation is broken, and when the foundation of any relationship is destroyed the relationship can’t stand the test of time. It is better to tell your counterpart the true story of any even no matter what it will cost you or you may decide not to disclose anything at that time because of the intensity of the environment. It will look so shameful a first to speak the truth to an ugly situation but it will be a building block for the future. No matter how long a lie has been its still remain a lie, it will never turn a truth.

4. Have Respect for each other: Respect is defined as “giving regard or consideration to others feelings”. A man shouldn’t long to see his wife as a man neither should the wife long to see his husband as a woman. God has divinely placed everyone in the right position, and has blessed each of them with potentials. A man should have respect for his wife, being the weaker vessel. They should avoid using each other weakness as a point for laughter or jokes, instead they should encourage themselves with their abilities.

5. Mode of Correction: No man or woman is infallible like God, so sometimes someone is liable to make mistakes. Making of mistakes in marriage is not the problem but the mode of correction might even stir up strive than the error itself. Each party should accept his or her fault and correction should be done with love and not an avenue for mockery and run down. When the mode of correction is done properly, apology and forgiveness will be achieved.

6. Marriage is not a Race of Competition. Since everybody is not standing on the same point on the surface of the earth, we are bound to have variation in our perception and standard of living. So marriage is not a Race of competition but an institution for learning, correction and improvement. You don’t compare yourself with someone else in marriage rather you outdo your past. That is you find out the area in your marriage that you are not doing well and try to improve on it. No marriage is standard but the Word of God is a standard to any Successful Marriage.

“A MAN COMMITTED SUICIDE AFTER KILLING HIS MASTER”

A young promising man of about 32 years had a loving and caring master who he had been serving for the past three years. He loved his master so much that he followed him anywhere he went, carried his bags and running any errand for him. The master his so successful and he loved his servant to much that he gave him all he had; provide shelter, food and clothe for him. In fact, he gave him every basic need he would ever desire at all.

While they were living happily together, the servant noticed that his master always talked about death. Each time he talked about it, the servant would rebuke him and said “God Forbid”. As the day rolled by the master kept on saying it more frequently but the servant kept on watching him carefully.

One day his master did a business with his business Associates, but the business went out to be so tough and rough that there was a controversy between himself and his Associates. So they began to plan so that they would kill him because he was better than them and he was the master piece behind every success. Several times he and his servant had escaped from their plot.

His Associates could not get him, all their efforts proved abortive. Meanwhile, the servant knew that his master had been talking about his death. “Why is he running away from death” he pondered within his heart. He knew his master had everything anyone could ever want in life. He began to behave skeptical towards his master. Every day he began dream and pray that his master would be apprehended by his Associates. While all was going on, the mater still didn’t do less than what he was doing for his servant even though he perceived his servant minds.

As luck would have it one faithfully day the servant ran into one of his master Associates and beckoned them that he needed some money to get his master into their hands. They agreed and gave him some money and he sold his master to them cheaply thinking it was just a game of pranks.

The matter went tough and tough for his master and he was tried and sentenced to death. When he saw that the matter had gone beyond his power, he requested that his master should be freed and the money returned back, but his Associate refused. He wept bitterly, threw the money by their side and went to commit suicide. His innocent master was tortured brutally, killed and was buried.

My Dear Readers, we all represents the servant and the Associates that killed the master. We are not better than them. The Bible Says in 1 Corin 2:7-8 “if the Princes of the world had known, they wouldn’t have crucified the “Lord of Glory”. That Master is our Lord Jesus Christ, and He is coming back again to judge the world.
We are not exempted from the wroth that is coming except we are ready to renown ourselves from the wicked Associates and accept the innocence of the master and turn to him in repentance. It doesn’t matter whether you are good or bad you must accept Him as your Lord and Personal savior before you can be free. He is ever ready to forgive you your sins. Isaiah 1:18-19. Rom 10:9-10.
