By the way what is your reason of acquiring the pup. Breeding? Security or just a household pet.

.yeah we learn everyday though and the responses here make me learn more about this part and it’s for household pet and a bit of security to reduce large number of visitors in the compound

In this current state of inflation if you bought that dog around 100k to 150k ..it’s not a bad deal..

I called the guy again this morning for parents pictures and document and what he said was he went to farm where they breed mainly Caucasian and he will ask them for the parents picture and about the document he said this one wey I buy can’t have but the parents have and I said I wanna see the parents and document also. But my own thought is can’t a document be fabricated or pictures of another parents just saying though is there a way I will know it’s the dogs parents and papers for the parents when sent to me

and the buyer that help me in buying mine.his own Caucasian below and he told me he’s still gonna be more bigger than his own

Well, pedigree is not by mouth assurance. It is by documented evidence of lineage. I may also point out that a dog can be pedigree and may not have come from parents who have bulk and size but are pure and conform to breed standard.

So firstly was it bred from pure parents with no mixes and conform to breed standard. If this is yes. Then you may seek documented evidence of lineage or ancestry - pedigree.

So you mean the one they brought and the last picture that was called a pedigree is below average or average.

Below average to what a full breed or ped could be right ?

@poster....how did you pay for a dog that is not available. If a seller asks you to send money for a product more so a dog he should have been sure it is available. Then now they are giving you alternatives instead of a straight forward refund.

Secondly though I am not a specialist in Caucasian Shepherds you can not ascertain pedigree by just a picture. You may to some extent only speculate that it is pure breed ...meaning it was bred out of same breed of dog without mixes (both parents are pure) and from what can be seen conforms to breed standard. Pedigree is you can trace the documented lineage up to 3rd, 4th or even 5th generation.

I will advise if you are asked to maybe pay a bit more that the ones shown to you are more expensive bla bla...you should not send any more money, cut your losses as you 'MAY' have been scammed.

oh I got the dog already and I took the picture in my compound already but he keeps saying it’s a ped but I know ped as more massive and full only. He just keep assuring me with mouth but is there no different from the last picture and the one we later concluded on which’s the first two picture (same dog though ). He just keep shouting na bla bla from Canada lol. That’s why I uploaded here that at least I’m gonna see people that will identify them for me but I swear it’s really gonna be painful if the dog is not ped. Some human are just more than something else lol

yes I got the dog already and yeah I paid before delivery like I said I trust the buying with a area brother like family and he had a dog also but he told me I’m gonna see the dog for 150 when I’m ready to buy
And when I was ready he sent me pictures and that last black one I uploaded as pedigree and normally little understanding I know about pedigree is they’re always more massive than pure breed also. And I told him to confirm the ped one if it’s available he told me and I said okay I paid and then after a while he was like he got to where to carry the dog and they’ve bought The dog so fast which i 80 precent believe it’s a scope and that’s how the conversation started to look somehow and he keeps saying the first two pictures is a pedigree also which I keep doubting but keep assuring me but I told him I’m gonna do findings he knows me and that’s what got me to creating a new account here yesterday

I didn’t even requested for parents but that switch was just somehow and it’s really painful as the dog is not a ped because I initially add up to the money when I heard about the ped

Dogs with their pedigree details intact don’t come cheap they’re quite expensive

I gave the guy #210K. But he told me the 10k was for his transportation

Do you have its database details,can the breeder provide it?! If not then it’s a non ped (doesn’t mean your dog isn’t pure though I hope you get my point clearly)

lol you can buy bone meat for them though as dinner and give them raw or cooked. i once bought a full black nylon bag for 500 naira. i cooked and gave them and it lasted
