If the correction is made in a polite and very respectful manner, they will definitely concede. Yoruba elders very value respect.

I can relate wv wat u re saying;my dad ws a difficult person to live with as in if the man says jump you ask him how high. The thing is you can't let ur parents determine who you want to be,sure they hv scarred u for life but u must let time heal your wounds. ^^For the numerical part you need to be really fast, you should know your multiplication tables like crazy. But it's not all about speed o, it's better to attempt 12 qst accurately than to attempt 20 and get jst 8 right.
Some qst are harder than most, don't waste your time with them, just make an educated guess from careful observation (especially the options). Also, easy qst brings confidence.
As for the abstract, just try to relax, you are supposed to see patterns. How are you gonna do that if you chill and look at the big picture?
Now if i was able to apply all these techniques i would hv a higher score.....but I'm still learning too.

Yea i answered every qst, i didn't leave any qst blank. I know for sure there is no negative marking. I scored 12 in verbal. English was never my strong point.

Errrrrrrr, well my score wasn't so bad.....not impressive either.
I scored above 60%

Rather than debating on whether it's a curse or not, why not try working on yourself. There might be a nasty habit you have that you are probably not so aware of or won't admit to that might actually be leading to the break ups.
Just me thinking out loud though.
