EzeKamkpas: And for the record, I used KamkpaScript to program my own search engine, which I was scored an A on my ENT project in school and a lot of people use it. This is something most of you discrediting me can't even do. But it's alright, I won't overthink it. I'm just asking a question. |
Programming › Re: Kamkpascript - The new upgrade, Shape Animation by Revealpanda: 4:43pm On Dec 11, 2025 |
EzeKamkpas: Modified*
☺️ Good question. You see, it's a general purpose language that's meant to be human-readable. I didn't jam-packed anything, it's simply programmed to perform multiple tasks, but mostly logic. That's why you think like this, my bro.
And for Christ sake, jQuery is a JavaScript library, KamkpaScript is not a library of any language, it's standing on it's own. Do I also have to explain what exactly a LIBRARY is? 🤦🏾♂️ What do you mean standing on its own? What engine is it running on and how are browsers compiling and understanding code written with KamkpaScript? You said it's programmed to perform multiple tasksWhat exactly did u use to program it and how does it compile and run on the machine... What language is it running on top? The link u provided as documentation doesn't work as many sources are broken on click

EzeKamkpas: Point of correction, it's a programming language, my bro. You asked me to understand the meaning and I explained it, you should play your own part of understanding by reading my previous comment towards silenti Abi na wetin.
This link contains the Read-me documentation.
https://github.com/chimeremezekamkpas-1/KamkpaScript
Thanks ♥️ So what type of language is it? Is it a styling language? Scripting or mark-up language. You just jam-packed everything into one box.... At best this should be considered a library like jQuery |
Programming › Re: Kamkpascript - The new upgrade, Shape Animation by Revealpanda: 12:21pm On Dec 11, 2025 |
EzeKamkpas: KamkpaScript has syntax rules, interpretation logic, and defined semantics — that meets the definition of a programming language. It’s okay if the syntax looks unfamiliar; every new language does at first. The goal isn’t to look like Python — it’s to make logic readable and fast to write. If readability makes it not a programming language, then SQL, Logo, Scratch and AppleScript are not programming languages Constructive feedback is welcome, but insults don’t change the direction of the project. This project moves regardless. ,♥️ So where's the documentation of your Mark-up language? Even a PDF of it will do |

EzeKamkpas: Here's a sample code 👇
p.type = 'search engine' title = 'Diuto' background-color = 'red' header-color = 'yellow' search-url = 'duckduckgo'
DuckDuckGo is the default API for search engine. The language is still young and is still under development for much more potential. Before U build a programming language u have to first understand what a programming language is |

Nazgul: Lol. If you still believe that writing a 10,000 word code manually from scratch (like the one in his attachment) in this day and age is the best way to build anything...It’s either you don’t fully grasp how software engineering has evolved…or you seriously underestimate what today’s AI tools can do.
The actual skill isn’t proving to everyone that you can suffer so they can applaud you for the number of hours or days you spent building a wonderful project. It’s about knowing how to combine your technical understanding with AI efficiency so you can build smarter, faster, and cleaner.
Spending days typing out what an AI can handle in minutes doesn’t make you a better programmer. It just shows how you’re refusing to upgrade your toolkit while the rest of the industry has moved on. You're telling him to just copy entirety of what he has no idea on and just paste it so the ai can fix. Even if the AI fixes it he still doesn't particularly know how it was fixed or even if his code is safe and not opening tons of vulnerability. I'm yet to see any of you vibe coders build any profitable app... Just noise and Tiktok videos |
Programming › Re: Nairaland Full-Stack AI Coding Challenge by Revealpanda: 9:57am On Nov 29, 2025 |
Nazgul: This is where vibe coding comes into play. If I were you I'd just copy the entire code and paste it on Claude and give it a promt to fix the bugs. And viola you'd have a bug free front and back end.
I do the same for JSON codes I use for my schema and AI agent. Worse possible way to build anything lol... Unless it's just a portfolio project and not meant to generate any money |

FreeStuffsNG: You're ignorant. I will not drop names here. They are old money Yoruba families.
There have been Obstetrician and Gynaecologists here in Lagos and in Abeokuta before even the Igbo crossed path with the Yoruba, got exposed to western education and before the thought of amalgamation of Nigeria was even thought by Lugard. The maternity hospitals in Lagos and Abeokuta were managed by Obstetrician and Gynaecologists of Yoruba extraction. Go to these facilities and you will see their pictures and names They will never brag about it.
These Yoruba Healthcare professionals were Yoruba and not Nigerians because Nigeria has not even amalgamated let alone formed as a country.
You start counting your own civilization from when Nigeria was formed but the Yoruba sophistication and western education was like a century ahead of yours and that of Nigeria. They were not even described as Nigerians but Yoruba.
I will not forget to thank Reverend Ajayi Crowther for taking the western education from Lagos and other parts of Yorubaland to the Igboland. This illustrious Nigerian is part of the vision of Reverend Crowther for his people yet Rev. Crowther is not even a Nigerian but Yoruba. All your rants 0 source or evidence to dispute his post. As usual... Anything positive that involves Ndigbo peppers you lot. |

Programming › Re: Nairaland Full-Stack AI Coding Challenge by Revealpanda: 4:47am On Nov 26, 2025 |
NairaX: This is actually a solid move. A full-stack AI coding challenge is the perfect way to spot people who have both raw skill and the speed needed in 2025. Anyone can code, but not everyone can build end-to-end software fast, clean, and with good judgment.
Using a frontier model like Gemini 3 Pro for planning makes the contest fair as everyone gets the same “AI assistant,” so what sets people apart will be their creativity, reasoning, and ability to turn specs into a real product .
AI won’t be compulsory, but let’s be honest… if you’re not using it, you’ll get outrun. This challenge is about velocity, problem-solving, and how well you can collaborate with AI.
Looking forward to seeing the beasts who will emerge from this. Na AI u use type this thing? |
