Fast-rising Nigerian artist Jaybless returns with a powerful new release titled “Champion,” and he features legendary dancehall star Marvellous Benjy . The song hits hard—it’s got uplifting lyrics, that unmistakable Ghetto Dancehall vibe, and a rhythm that’s impossible to ignore. There’s also a music video that really drives the message home. The sound itself fits right into the world of modern Ghetto Dancehall , but there’s a motivational edge to it and everything’s polished for that radio play. The production is lively—lots of energy—but you still hear the heart in both artists’ performances. It’s the kind of song that lifts your spirit and gets you moving at the same time. With “Champion,” Jaybless isn’t just making music—he’s cementing his spot as an artist with something real to say. Working with Marvellous Benjy just adds to that authenticity. This collab works because it feels honest and true to the genre. There’s no doubt “Champion” is going to strike a chord with anyone who loves Ghetto Dancehall or just needs that extra boost of motivation. Both Jaybless and Marvellous Benjy are showing they’re ones to watch in Nigeria’s music scene. The music video which was directed by Director Beejay takes these themes and turns them into something you can see—a blend of creative storytelling and energetic performance that puts perseverance and victory front and center. There’s a real sense of triumph running through the whole thing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAthhrdq2qE

*DISCLAIMER BY PMAN ABOUT SUSPENDED PRETTY OKAFOR'S FRAUDULENT SOLICITATION FOR COURT SUIT & LEVY FUNDS* The attention of the Performing Musicians Employers Association of Nigeria (PMAN) has been drawn to a fraudulent message circulating on social media, falsely claiming that PMAN is collating names for a court suit (FHC/L/CS/207/2026) regarding "Copy Levy" funds. THE PUBLIC AND ALL STAKEHOLDERS SHOULD TAKE NOTE THAT: This is a recurring tactic used by the suspended PMAN President, Pretty Okafor, and his associates to illegally collect the private data (Names, Addresses, and Emails) of unsuspecting musicians and record label owners. Pretty Okafor is currently suspended and has no legal authority to represent PMAN in any court suit, nor is he authorized to collect stakeholder data for any financial settlements. We strongly advise all record label owners, sound recording owners, and musicians to be wary. This individual has a well-documented history of using the PMAN name for personal gain and "scamming" the industry through misinformation. Submitting your information to these unauthorized individuals puts your intellectual property and personal security at risk. Any legitimate legal action or distribution of funds involving PMAN will be communicated exclusively through the Office of the General Secretary and published by the PMAN national executive council NEC. Pretty Okafor and his cohorts lack the integrity to represent PMAN.

Sunny Afroholic is back with a new single, “Na Olosho.” This one digs deep into the world of transactional relationships and the rise of hookup culture among young women today. It’s honest, it’s catchy, and it doesn’t shy away from the tough realities. He mixes classic Afrobeat grooves with storytelling that hits home. Instead of pointing fingers, Sunny Afroholic offers empathy and tries to get people thinking—maybe even changing for the better. The track isn’t just a wild beat and fun lyrics; there’s a real message tucked in there, encouraging self-worth and smarter choices. It’s about finding a more meaningful path, not just chasing quick wins. You can hear it in his lyrics and delivery—there’s a balance between having a good time and tackling real issues. That's kind of his thing. Sunny Afroholic says “Na Olosho” isn’t meant to judge anyone; it's about understanding and moving forward. He wants people to talk about how society shapes us, and to remember their value goes way beyond fleeting pleasures. This song just adds to Sunny Afroholic’s reputation for taking on real-life problems through Afrobeat, using his music to start conversations and push for change. “Na Olosho” is out now, so you can stream it pretty much anywhere. http://www.djsunnyslim.com.ng/2026/03/music-sunny-afroholic-na-olosho.html

Sunny Afroholic, one of Afrobeat’s rising stars, just dropped his new single, “Love Don Die.” The track digs into how love feels different these days—tougher, sometimes disappointing, and not quite as real as it once seemed. He blends those signature Afrobeat rhythms with honest, soulful vocals, and you can really feel the weight behind his words. In “Love Don Die,” Sunny doesn’t sugarcoat it. He lays out a world where real love seems like it’s slipping away. You hear it in his voice and his lyrics—he’s asking if true love is even out there anymore, or if it’s all just quick flings, selfishness, and people pretending to care. The song’s got that classic Afrobeat percussion, smooth layers of instruments, and a storytelling style that hits close to home, especially if you’ve ever felt the messiness of love in our time. Sunny’s not just singing for the sake of it; he’s making a point about how relationships have changed, and he wants people to think about it. Sunny says “Love Don Die” came straight from his own life and what he’s seen around him—how love sometimes gets twisted or taken for granted. He hopes the song pushes listeners to really consider what loyalty and real connection mean. With this track, Sunny Afroholic keeps proving he’s a strong voice in the Afrobeat world. He’s got a knack for telling stories that cut across cultures and make people feel seen. You can stream “Love Don Die” now on all the major platforms. http://www.djsunnyslim.com.ng/2026/03/sunny-afroholic-one-of-afrobeats-rising.html
