Autos / Re: Total Cost Of Clearing A Vehicle In Nigeria by rexlims(m): 1:38pm On Aug 25
kaysy:
Let's Calculate The Total Cost Of Clearing Your Car From Tincan Island Port - UPDATED on This 12th Day of July, 2021

In this thread we will be treating the total cost of clearing cars at the Tincan Island Port via RORO or Containerized.

Example of how to calculate the Import Duty of your car, lets say Toyota Corolla 2004.

SOLUTION
The CIF Value of Toyota Corolla 2004 is $1,886. Please note that this CIF Value is usually in USD and the exchange rate the NCS uses at the moment is N405. The Rate of Duty for Vehicles is currently 35% of CIF Value.

So lets convert the CIF Value to Naira, $1886 X 405 = N763,830 good afternoon what is d CIF of a 2008 Toyota Sienna

Lets get the 35% of N763,830. Which is N763,830 X 0.35 = N267,340.5

Now N267,340.5 is your Import duty which is called the surface value.

To get the total amount u are to pay to NCS account including VAT, Surcharge & ETLS, we have to multiply our surface value with a constant value of 1.38

So N267,340.5 X 1.38 = N368,929.89 This is your total import duty

Other Charges Includes:
Clearing Agent Fee is between N80,000 to N100,000 and its opened for negotiations if the vehicle to clear are more than one.
Shipping company Fee, Terminal Charges, Release & Gate + all other miscellaneous payments made to custom officers, budget around N100,000 to N250,000 (Estimate) depending on the vehicle model, the newer the model the higher the cost. This does not include demurrage should the vehicle incur demurrage charges.

To know the clearing cost of other vehicles, just ask me for the CIF value of the car and I'll respond with it then u can do the calculation yourself or I can do the calculation and give u the final value in Naira if u want me to.

Visit our office at Tincan Island with photocopy of your Bill of Lading / Telex Release lets start the process and clear your car today.
Call or WhatsApp me on 0 8 0 2 4 1 0 2 5 5 4

We'll strongly recommend u visit our office in person or send someone to come and see exactly how everything is being done from office to office, once the car has been cleared and released from terminal, we hand it over to u.

The right thing to do is to carry out an investigation. Invite the people that received the alert and trace the source through their banks.

No president can match Jonathan in terms of sorrow and agony. He and his useless Poverty Development Party created Boko haram, Bandits, Kidnappers. Fulani herdsmen killings excalated on their watch.
My question is what do u have to say about this govt when buhari leaves office in 2023.
Politics / Re: Sylva: Jonathan Packaged, Handed Over A Broken Economy To Buhari In 2015 by rexlims(m): 10:44pm On Aug 05
Sirjamo:
1. Yar adua left $62b for Jonathan. Jonathan left $33b for Buhari.

2. Yar adua left oil price of crude at $100 for Jonathan. Jonathan left it at $40 for Buhari. ( not Jonathan's fault)

3. When Jonathan became president, all states were paying salaries, when he left, 27 States couldn't pay salaries.

4. When Yar adua died, GDP growth was over 9%, by the time the Zoologist left in 2015, he had already destroyed the GDP down to 2.5%

So yes, Buhari inherited a damaged economy. In fact, losing the 2015 election was a huge relief for Dr Clueless, the economy would have been so bad that the military would have intervene and scuttle our democracy.

If history is anything to go buy, this is exactly d same policies d lifeless one adopted in 1983 that nearly crippled this country until IBB overthrew him thru a palace coup.

Almost everyday people died from suicide bombings consistently in markets at Kano, Kano mosque attack alone can account for the entire 6 months current killings across the nation. Others include Kano Polytechnic, FCE Kano talkless of NE.

More Nigerians died under GEJ than PMB. There was a time people used to die in hundreds daily. 2k people were gruesomely killed by insurgents at Baga in just one day and in many occasions similar outrageous figures used to be killed. The issue is there is serious relief on BH side and the killings under PMB expanded to areas that used to be safe.
Comparing failures is a sign of delusional mental retardation on the side of the citizens!
With all d banditry happening in d north, have u asked urself y u NTA doesn't report it?
