How Chife

meet a software engineer to reload the iOS for you

So many Businesses both online and offline put in a lot of work to build their business, and that includes where they source their products too.
You wouldn’t tell me that all the big names in the used phone business does not have a way of verifying the legitimacy of what they sell.
No go use your own spoil another person own, because you might be selling new products so the other legitimate sellers of used should go into extinction.
I know of countless number of people (men and women inclusive) here on nairaland alone who survive on the proceeds of selling used phones.
If I begin to mention them, this place fit no accommodate the argument.

So please, live and let others live too

Peace

Djdamian:
I basically sell phones,so what's your point ?

..

Djdamian:
You guys should learn how to respect people's opinions. Gazzuzz gave his honest opinion and I agree with him. You cannot verify if a phone is stolen or not,all you need is a fabricated receipt. Cars can be verified to a larger extent, with plate numbers, custom papers, VIN report e.t.c..And stop swearing with your life cos you might lose it if you wanna bet it.

If you don’t know much about something, no too put mouth on the subject in a public forum.

Peace

Haven’t seen Oga FF for a while..

Without any updates for long now, I believe the business is not functioning anymore

Wetin you de find, wetin no find you
No put your mouth for wetin no concern you..

For those of you selling because you want to relocate,I feel it is not ideal for you to be telling buyers that you have a pick up date before you can let your items go..It automatically means you are not ready to sell yet.

You guys will be running advert knowing fully well you are not ready to let go of the items and when buyers contact you,you want them to make payment for an item you don't want to release till further notice.

You want them to pay for an item you still want to continue to enjoy till you are ready to release it.

If you are not ready to release your items, then don't bother to advertise them till you are ready to start releasing them

Don't expect buyers to make deposit or pay fully for items you still want to enjoy asking them to wait for one nonsense pick up date

Na buyers wey dey always rush to pay una dey give una liver to be coming here to run advert when you guys know you are not ready to release those items

You guys want to eat your cake and still have it

Well said,

You find them a lot on Jiji too, put up an ad for sale, when contacted and price agreed, when do I come/meet up? You go de hear things like, make I back up my files first, I no de available for now till further notice etc.

Mane go just de one corner de laugh now

Just as in phones which I have more knowledge about than laptops.
(Used electronics generally)

There could be an issue which only real time usage of said item can reveal.

We do well to check for every basic functionality, and can still miss out on something that an actual user will detect.

Also, there’s possibility something could have happened from actual users end which is unknown as engineer no fit diagnose.

Buyer/middleman and seller try find a common ground to work things out.
