9 means working daily for 9 hours and the 5 means Monday to Friday which is 5 days


But i don't believe it
9 to 5 means the hours you work in a day

Please (even though I know my appeal with fall on deaf ears too numerous to count in this forum), approach this issue with logic and without prejudice to the people involved.

My wife and I are duly blessed with a son who is in his basic 5 now. Also, we decided to get the daughter of one of my cousin to stay with us. She is one of 7 children. So I wanted to help raise a CHIMAMANDA.

As my rule, every child of same age under my room attends the same school and calls us Dad & Mum. The school part didn't quite seat well with my wife, who had a different opinion, but I prevailed anyway. Because na me dey pay school fees.

The girl is a year older than my son, but due to the level of education at the village before she came over, we made her be in the same class as my son. She met my son in primary 2. Now they are both in basic 5.


I even buy gifts for her (for coming top) more than I do for my boy, to make him sit up, but my pikin nor send me o. Guy use cry & Woman power make me buy am bicycle. 😁

I close by 3pm. She suggest government school that close earlier. I see sense in what she said but I feel like I'll be unfair to this young girl.

Omo things have changed in Nigeria,use to buy this biscuits for #5 naira but it looks like it has gone into extinction.i remember pressing that pepper snack till it becomes soft then I'll add little water into it and turn it together then begins to eat it 😂

Me and my 2 brothers thinking we were "Power Rangers" after watching the film.
So we went out to look for wooden sticks and called it swords. We even carry it everywhere we go. Everyone thought we were crazy.

Some other neighbors children got inspiration and join us. So we formed an Army.

Then everyday we would imagine war would break out and we would be the ones to save Nigeria.

Then we started training for the unknown war. We fought among ourselves to prepare for the destiny of Nigeria rested on our hands.

Oneday, we dug all our wooden sticks inside the ground near our house.

My Dad came home and asked what those sticks were and we should remove them. We told him "No". We told him they are our swords. We would use them to save him and mum and Nigeria when "RITA" comes with her villains to fight Nigeria. (Rita is the female villain in the Power Rangers Mighty Morphin film).

My Dad was just looking at us for hours.

Somebody should pour cold water on me.

Stole my classmate computer game,with the help of a fellow classmate ,way back in primary two . The werey later bursted me simply because I failed to give him the computer game after it had stayed with me for a week

Sometimes around year 2004, my sister's mtn sim stopped working. After 3 days, network appeared on the sim, she was happy and called a friend.
The boy was like, who is this? She called her name, and was happy to tell him her sim has started working. The boy said this is not your number. After much here and there, she dropped her phone

Not quite long, her phone started ringing at interval, calls from different people from Benue state begging her to remove the sim.

Some called her a thief, some cursed her

It was terrible

I picked the call and tried to explain to a particular pastor that called

"My sister is just around 16 years, she hasn't left Lagos state before, so how come you are accusing her of coming to Benue to steal phone."

I checked the number on the sim and it corresponded with the number on the pack, unfortunately no WhatsApp or means to send the picture to them..

We called mtn, they said there is nothing they could do, that we should just put off the sim, so the other lady can retrieve her sim.

The thing is, her number changed after the network disappeared and reappeared to another person's number who was robbed at Benue state.

She couldn't retrieve it, so my sister was asked to remove the sim.

Initially, i refused because my sister has been called all sort of names, but later the lady called and begged that she just finished nysc and she expecting calls from companies she applied to.
