crackhouse: now that the father have married his daughters, what will be the fate of their future husbands. I hope he will not be dragging them(daughters) with them(husbands) spiritually. He didn't marry his daughters, he just walked them down the aisle like a father would do on his daughters wedding day before handing them over to their husbands. |
fluxview: i shouldn't have read this post at all, u just reminded me of my 12 years old nieces whom i helplessly watched to die on may 1 2011 for fault that is not entirely his. he took ill at an early age of 2 and we took him to diffrnt clinics for treatment, we were surprise to find out that he had HIV at age 4, probably from one of the clinics and hospital we had taking him to earlier(HIS MUM AND DAD WERE NEGATIVE). we cant trace the clinic so we had to manage the virus for 10 years ( purse to cry). we was strong to with stand the pain and constant anti retrovirus drugs, even doctors were supprise to see him leave that long. a month b4 he died he thanked us for the help to sustain his life and he said he is very weak and couldnt with stand the drugs again(purse to cry). he told our last girl that he may not be around on her wedding day because he is weak and will soon die. her wedding was on June of that year. he told my immediate younger sister that he will soon die.we started crying secretly at our respective rooms because we know he is saying the truth. he died 24hrs later and his coups was buried in my home town becos he HE WAS BOLD AND COURAGEOUS TO BE A MAN AT AGE 12.Your story also touching, i sympathise with u on your loss. May his soul rest in peace |
la furia: amazing.Very funny. Wow, i cant believe that i just made front page. I knew it would make front page. Mods thanks for making my day |
14 Fred tragically lost his battle to cancer on July 25th, 2013, but not before he was able to share one special moment of love with his family. Source http://eyespopping.com/a-father-gives-his-girls-the-best-surprise-before-dying-of-terminal-cancer/

13 They promised to love each other for the rest of their lives, sealing that promise with a kiss
12 Then, they clasped hands and then walked down the aisle one last time together.
11 Then, Fred surprised his wife with something amazing… He wanted to renew his vows. He presented his wife Karla with her own bouquet…
10 The family gathered together to pray for Gracie and Kate, that they find joy in their future marriages.
8 and 9
7 But one thing was the same for both: they were opening grieving the imminent loss of their loving father.
6 Fred escorted each daughter down the aisle to a different song…
5 Fred had always wanted to give his girls away on their wedding day and he refused to let cancer steal that from him.
4. When Kate and Gracie arrived in the church, they were greeted by their father in a tuxedo.
3. Neither of daughters were engaged to be married, but he surprised them with the special ceremony anyway.
2. That’s why he decided to do something he refused to miss before dying: walk his girls down the aisle.
I saw this emotional piece and felt i should share it with all nairalanders. Its a touching story 1. Cancer tears loving families apart, but even though he was losing his own battle to cancer, Fred Evans refused to let it steal one thing he has always wanted to do. Fred and his wife Karla have three daughters and a son.So, he pulled together this heartwarming and tear-jerking surprise.

Same thing happened to me with With Aero Contractors on saturday 09/11/2013. Booked for Aero from Lagos to Abuja for 4.45pm cos the 2 Medview flights took off from Lagos - abuja in d morning which wasnt convenient for me. so had to return with Aero and i usually dont like flying with Aero. Got an sms from aero contractors on saturday morning (as i had booked and paid online since thursday) saying Dear Esteemed Customer, this is to inform you that our flight AJ129 from Lagos to Abuj on the 9th of November, 2013 has resheduled to 18:45hrs due to operational reasons. However, if you are already booked on the 18:45HRS pls disregard. Check in starts 2 hours before and closes forty mins before departure. we apologise for any inconveniencethis may cause you. for enquiries pls call 01-6284140 or email tickethelpdesk@acn.aero when i saw the sms i thot the flight wasnt full and they wanted to merge us with their 6.45pm scheduled flight so as not to take 2 half filled planes to abj. got into MMA by 4.30 pm to check in and met many people whose flight was rescheduled as well.we waited till 6.45pm as scheduled and werent called, at about 7pm they announced that they were sorry and for the delay as AJ129 lagos-Abuja will start boarding in 15mins to cut the long story short, we started boarding by 8pm for 4.45pm flight. the airplane was completely filled. the original 6.45pm flight AJ135 also took off same time with AJ129 flight both flights filled with Lagos- Abuja passengers, meaning they werent short of passengers but actually due to operational reasons (operational incompetency i call it) This sorts of things happen cos we have fewer options to travel with, so they can delay ur flight as they like and expect you to pay more if u miss ur flight. As i have once coughed out over 8k cos i was a minute late for my ARIK flight. but they dont pay for damages for delayed flight when we leave in a Country were anything goes. With the disappointment, i thank God for a safe flight back. Its better late than never. |
Mr Aboki: For reals!!!!Is urs out now? I guess it must be because of the late hour rush as i heard that they had lots of people on queue who did not want to miss the initial deadline of Oct 1st. |
The first boy was celebrated so other kids will want to follow suite. Some parents could even push their kids to do same so that they can receive scholarship, have body guards et al. This boys should be punished so that it ll serve as lessons to others. |
Bigsolo88: u r a grown up fool n a product of hellSee the words coming out of ur mouth But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, 'Raca,' is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell. Matt 5:22 |
where in the Bible was it stated that wearing trouser is a sin? its human that made trousers. They wore robes in those days, someone thought of redesigning those robes to trousers and shirts and some folks just concluded its a sin for women to wear trouser , supposing trouser was first worn by women, these same folks will say that its a sin for men to wear trousers, Moreover, the female trouser has a different shape from the man. Its the heart that matters and your relationship with God. However, its the manner in which the trouser, skirt, gown, etc is sown that maybe be a sin. The cloth is not supposed to reveal some parts of the body. those that reveals such sensitive parts of the body may lead others to sin. That is what the Bible is against On the last day, there maybe be lots of trouser wearing ladies in heaven and lots of long skirt, wrapper wearing ladies in hell. |
