Ok. What abt absence of milk, will d cake taste well without it?

Dat was exactly d measurement i used, 2 cups of flour(full) 200g sugar and 1 satchet butter, bt it came out strong lik zuma rock, i av wasted so many cake as a result of dis, though i didnt add any cake softener, trust me i wont relent i ll die tryin, i ll definitely get there.

Pls how can i get d right measurement for my flour, i dont av a scale what else can i use to measure 250g flour? and how can i steam my cake on stove top, though i dont av steam pot.
