Hello everyone, please, i want to confirm if eco bank is experiencing any technical problems that prevents them from crediting one's account or if they're still observing their own public holiday.. A transfer was made since 9am today. And till now, nothing from them. Not even to check or confirm via ATM.
Please, anyone with any update?

You should go and confirm your balance at the ATM. If the money is still not reflecting, you should call their contact centre on 07005000000, or email them at engcontactcentre@ecobank.com.

I wanted to ask a very simple Question. I plan on going to west African nations to advertise my software business, I wouldn't want to get stranded along the line..
Hence I have chosen Ecobank as GTB and Zenith Banks isn't in most nations like cape Verde and some other places.

Now I am asking, what is the minimum balance to open an account with Ecobank. It's not a stupid question, hence I do need answers.

Lol I don’t think your question is a silly one. I actually have an account with them and find their ATM cards very useful when I travel abroad especially within African countries. Just send them an email at engcontactcentre@ecobank.com if you need more info

Thnk u so much for ds write up, I received a msg frm CBN yesterday dt my ATM card had bn de- activated, very funny cos ecobank hv refused since early last year to give me a new card for wch they debited d sum of 1000 thousand naira frm my acct. Am really very angry, rite nw.

Are you sure the message is from CBN? You better don’t fall for these fraudsters as people have been complaining of being defrauded after receiving and responding to messages like this.

As regards to your ATM, you can send the bank an email on engcontactcentre@ecobank.com or call 0700 500 0000?

This is the email address I usually use ENGContactcentre@ecobank.com or call the customer care on 0700 500 0000. Hope this helps sha...

Anytime I have issues with my account in Ecobank I send a mail to the customer care and I get my issue resolved. I even got my BVN linked while I was in Ghana.
