I'm depressed and down for the past two months now..i just joined my hubby in lagos from Edo state. Instead of him to take me to his apartment, he asked me to go stay with his elder sister and it hasn't been easy. He comes to the sister's place every weekend. I work my hass out on daily basis as if am their house maid and my hubby is so comfortable with it. Each time I bring up the issue of us moving to the apartment given to us by his company he always flair up and get so upset. He doesn't give me money for upkeep and each time I ask him for money he will say he doesn't have money. And I'm not working yet cos I'm new in lagos and I Don't want to work around the sister environment cos she will continue to use me. Have been TTC for almost two years now all to no avail. All of this is breaking ma heart and giving sleepless night. I can't sleep without using sleeping pills. I just need somebody to talk to cos I don't want to involve ma parent with the issue.

I'm a kind of person that don't talk much so making friends is a very hard thing for me to do, so most times I'm always alone even in my class when I realize that if I try to make friends most of them will always make fun of my stature and that will make me feel laid back. To even make my case worst, my dad is going through some health issues and that has made him stop working and I'm left to fend for myself, I'm in my final year in the University and school fees has not been paid. Killing myself has been constant in my head lately

and you think when you are dead it ends there what would then happen to your dad, try to fine happiness in yourself forget what people think or say it there own headach not your's . There are lot of people out there trying to be you

I'm just so depressed right now I wish I can just end it all if only I have the courage to do so.I just voluntarily withdrew from a school I've been doing my MSC due to this high exchange rate.I have been a part time student for a year now and have just a year to go.I got a job last year but the new government of my state stopped it when they assumed power this year.This education have been my only solace.Now I just feel I'm back to step one. I don't even know where to begin from.I'm married but very lonely,I have kids but nothing gives me joy.I just feel out of place in this world.I feel God has failed me too.I'm just so depressed.

over 7 years of marriage, I had been searchingly for employment. Luckily, an opportunity came and a foremost financial institution gave me a job but had to post me far to a CORE NORTH city where the level of security is of concern. But being a family man in desperate need of a means of livelihood, I had to accept the offer believing sooner than expected, a new job down south would surface or better still, a redeployment would be possible down south.
Friends, I am close to 4years now in that region without any hope of being reunited with my emotionally tortured family members who miss me every minute of the day. I visit them like 4 times a year.
Now I am depressed now and can't continue this lifestyle as it has had adverse effect on my wife and my grown up kids who complain all time.
But I can't leave the job without another and I am missing my family and they are missing me as well. My request goes thus: anyone with contacts for jobs down south should kindly help me out or a useful advice. I wish to leave the North at the end of this year. I just feel I should give a priority to my family just as much as I give to my career. I work specifically in Yola and my family are in Lagos.

if your salary is a good one i will advice you leave the job and start a business with your wife so you can hold on with that stil you get a new job
