I had been a victim consuming Common sugar thinking it was honey for years before i knew the little secret. To me back then, all honey was honey.

Since Feb 27, 2020 when the first official case of COVID-19 in Nigeria was announced, the situation has developed with more cases occurring, regardless of measures initiated by the state and federal government to combat the virus and return to normalcy. As of 1st of April the total confirmed cases was 151. By April the cases rose to 2,019 cases to arrive at 2170 on 1st of May. The month of May witness high surge in cases of Covid 19 but luckily below experts' projection. There is increament in confirmed cases by 8,408 to arrive at 10578 by 1st of June.

I know my opinion will be repelled by many people but to be candid, Africans must also contribute to the vaccine development, if we really want to benefit. Africans have being boiling on social media over the suggestion of vaccine trial in Africa by an European scientist. Government of many countries, billionaires, philanthropist, rich individuals and many ordinary people are contributing and donating billions of dollars to this ongoing research. Our government and billionaires can never donate a kobo, instead they are still cashing out and siphoning fund for this Covid19.
If we can't contribute monetarily, we are to contribute in the other way.
It is just as if people are contributing to cook a certain food and you stretch your leg waiting for them to finish, so that you can eat for from it. 'Who does that? '
If you can't contribute to buy the ingredients, at least you must contribute in the cook process.
