I'l urge u guys nt to despair, u r fortunate. It'l be like a movie when u r payed 3mnths allowee @ once. I served 2yrs ago, so I knw what I am talking abt. When my friends received their two months allowee wtout stress, I was jealous nd we still passed out d same time. There's nothing too appealing in nysc except for d. 3wks fun, nd after which u'll get fed up of checking ur calendar for d passing out date. While u r staying idle or otherwise, take ur time out to plan for ur 3mnths allowee which comes like a missile. Have fun.

I think this is true through an audio conversation between a guy and an nysc official and d man said sometin like "because we are asking u to wait for two(2) weeks to give a better planning now u are complaining.

The 2016 budget was slashed by 40 percent – This action has affected the batch ‘A’ stream 2 of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) – The Director- General of NYSC said series of letters have been sent to that effect to President Muhammadu Buhari and some Ministers on these issues Sule Kazure The mobilization of batch ‘A’ stream 2 of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) might be crippled due to cash crunch as their allocation in the 2016 budget has been slashed by 40 percent. This was hinted on Monday, May 16, by Sule Kazaure , the Director- General of NYSC, during an interactive session with Senate committee on sport and youth development.
He said letters have been written to the minister and President Muhammadu Buhari on the issue but the agency has not received favourable response as the batch is scheduled to resume on Friday, May 20. He added that despite series of efforts, the required money for the exercise has not been provided by the federal government. However, Kazure expressed dissatisfaction that the request for the funds were forwarded to its supervising Minister, the Minister of budget and National Planing, Minister of finance and the presidency but yet to receive response up till now.
Mr. Adeleke Ademola, the director of finance, also agreed with Kazure that series of letters have been written to the Minister and Buhari but no response. Obina Ogba, the chairman of the committte however assured that a meeting between the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Budget and National Planing and NYSC to address the issue will be organised. He also revealed that the budget of the Ministry is short by N13 billion. Recall that Bukola Saraki had reportedly turn down Presidency request to manipulate the contents of the 2016 budget through the backdoor. The controversy caused a major stir as the presidency revealed new list of development projects removed or distorted from the budget by the Senate

If every member of this GC sends at least an SMS to these lines today, i'm very sure the Honourable minister will feel the weight of our burdens and find a way to address the problem. Keeping us in the dark is a very painful development. They should at least tell us what is going on in nysc headquarters, since they debunked the rumour of lack of funds last week.
