The victims of the attack were said to include tea sellers, a commercial driver and roadside traders. It was gathered that the commercial driver had stopped at Sabo to eat before he was shot dead. Kajuru attack: Death toll rises to 32 ...As Natives say unidentified Helicopter aided massacre of our people https://www.sunnewsonline.com/kajuru-attack-death-toll-rises-to-32 Following attack allegedly by terrorists penultimate Sunday on communities of Ungwan Gamu, Dogon Noma, Ungwan Sarki and Maikori villages near Maro in Kajuru local government area of Kaduna State, the death toll on Wednesday rose to 32. Earlier reports on Sunday said 25 persons were killed by terrorists who stormed the communities in broad daylight. However, a statement on Wednesday by the National President of Adara Development Association (ADA), Mr. Awemi Dio Maisamari said, “The death toll this morning (Wednesday) is 32 as villagers comb sorrounding bushes for more corpses. 7 corpses were found this morning in varying degree of decomposition. “The attack started around 12noon and lasted until around 6pm unchallenged by the state. It was carried out by / terrorists mounted on 150 motorcycles carrying three AK47 wielding persons each. “When the armed killers were carrying out the killings around 3pm the villagers mobilized to repel the attackers at Maikori village. The valiant natives who came out in large numbers from neighbouring villages were already driving back the invaders and taking control of the situation when a helicopter appeared. “To the horror of the natives, the white painted helicopter, faced the brave natives instead and started gunning the youths from the air, clearly leaving out the killers who can be distinctly identified by the mode of dressings and from their positions. “There was no way that poorly armed farmers using crude weapons could face the combined fire strength of better armed terrorists and a gun mounted helicopter. “With no other options, the Adara youths had to scamper for safety. This enabled the attackers to burn down the whole village. The covering fire of the helicopter also enabled the attackers to escape unhurt. As a result of the attack, 25 persons, mostly men were killed. 16 men, 5 women, and 4 children were killed. “We not yet sure how many of the casualties were caused by the gun shots from the helicopter. But some injured persons are taking treatments in various hospitals. “Some houses were burnt at Ungwan Sarki but Maikori village was completely destroyed. The ECWA church in Dogo Noma was razed down. “Some houses in Unguwan Sarki and Unguwan Gamu were also burnt. The burial of victims was disrupted on Monday, 6/6/2022 as the terrorists were sighted in nearby bushes. “Furthermore, many people are still missing and some of them are believed to have been abducted by the assailants. So far, not contacts have been made. “The attacked has caused serious panick leading to the displacement of thousands of people in the area. Most of the displaced persons, especially women and children are still relocating to places like Katul Crossing, Kachia, Idon and Maraban Kajuru. “The attack has compounded the already very bad humanitarian situation in Kajuru LGA because Kutura Station and other neighboring villages were similarly destroyed and displaced on 8th April, 2022. “The Adara Development Association(ADA) wants the Nigeria Air Force to thoroughly invistigate this incident and determine if the helicopter and the crew belong to the Nigeria Air Force. There have been too many reports of helicopters dropping weapons and provisions to bandits in their locations both in and out of Adara Chiefdom. The Nigeria Air Force should speak on this incident to clear the air. “We are calling on government and other people of conscience to come to the aid of our displaced and dehumanized people. “The ADA also wishes to express its outrage with the Kaduna State Governor for abandoning the people to the mercy of terrorists”.

Nokia CEO says humans to be implanted with 6G chips The Chief Executive Officer of Nokia, Pekka Lundmark, has disclosed that smart gadgets will be implanted into human bodies in the next eight years, as technological innovation will evolve into the sixth generation (6G) network. Lundmark said by 2030 the 6G network will replace the 5G wireless connection which is currently being adopted across the world, and planned for the Nigerian market in the second half of 2022. He projected 6G, which is currently under development, will make smartphones irrelevant upon completion. Nokia’s chief executive made this known at the World Economic Forum, according to multiple media reports. His statement comes amid the project of world’s richest man, Elon Musk, which seek to implant chips into the human brain, to create a computer-like visual interface. Currently, a macaque is being used to develop and perfect the chip. In a video shared by the billionaire, the animal, which had been implanted with the chip, was seen playing “Mind Pong” by moving its hands with thoughts, after being trained to move the joystick. It was gathered that the most common interface will no longer be smartphones, as user behaviour will change with the advent of 6G. He explained that smart glasses and other technology driven devices will receive preference. “By then, the smartphone as we know it today will not be the most common interface. Many of these things will be built directly into our bodies.” https://olisa.tv/nokia-ceo-says-humans-to-be-implanted-with-6g-chips/ |

Tinubu is in Distress – Okorocha opens up, makes revelation A former Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha has attacked the National leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu over his 2023 Presidential ambition. Okorocha, during an interview on Arise TV, disclosed that Tinubu was in ‘Distress’ adding that he was acting like the 2023 presidency should be given to him as ‘a reward’. In his words; “I think it’s just natural, and that everybody should know, and I don’t know what’s behind the mind of Tinubu but I respect him a lot, but I think Tinubu is in distress because he feels that it’s a time to compensate him on the basis of the role he played in the formation of APC which some of us were part of it,” he said. The controversial politician added that the 2023 presidency should be zoned to the South-East. “He [Tinubu] believed that he has made people and this is the time people should allow him or make him or something. More like a reward system. But more than that, we are talking about the nation called Nigeria. We have to have a nation first before personal and individual sentiments will come into play,” Okorocha made headlines on Tuesday afternoon after his Maitama home was beseiged by officers of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. The serving senator raised alarm adding that the anti-graft commission was holding him ‘hostage’ in order to stop him from participating in the APC presidential screening exercise. https://politicsnigeria.com/breaking-tinubu-is-in-distress-okorocha-opens-up-makes-revelation/amp/

IDF strike utterly destroyed Iranian site in Syria https://worldisraelnews.com/iaf-strike-utterly-destroyed-iranian-site-in-syria/ According to foreign reports, this was the third aerial attack in the last three weeks to stop Iranian entrenchment in the country. Satellite images published Sunday show the complete destruction of an alleged Iranian military site in Syria that foreign media have attributed to an Israeli air strike Friday night. Israeli intelligence firm ImageSat International (ISI) released “before” and “after” pictures in which several buildings in a row in the northwestern region of Masyaf are utterly demolished. “The structures were used as an entrance to underground tunnels. ISI has detected that the structures have been completely destroyed,” the company said. According to ISI, “this underground facility is related to” the nearby Scientific Studies and Research Center (SSRC), which Western intelligence sources believe is linked to the Syrian military. The SSRC is responsible for the research and development of biological and chemical weapons, and nuclear and ballistic missile-related technology. In 2005, the SSRC was put on the U.S. Treasury Department’s Specially Designated Nationals list and American citizens and residents were prohibited from doing business with it. The alleged Israeli strike is the second one in the Masyaf region in two months. The area has been attacked several times over recent years, as it contains several Iranian bases that are used, among other purposes, to develop and produce more accurate missiles that could endanger the Jewish state. Israel has described its ongoing but usually uncredited military activity as a “war between the wars” to discourage Iranian entrenchment so close to its northern border. Just five days ago, Syrian state television reported that the IDF had launched several shells at an observation post overlooking the Golan Heights. Although officially belonging to the Syrian army, the post was reportedly suspected of being used by Hezbollah terrorists and members of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps. Less than three weeks ago, the Syrian army admitted that four of its soldiers were killed in an Israeli air strike on Damascus while claiming that its forces had managed to shoot down most of the “Tiberius-based” missiles. The opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights SOHR reported, in contrast ,that those killed included five Syrian soldiers and four people of unknown citizenship who were affiliated with Iran-backed militias. According to Saudi Arabian news channel Al-Hadath, that attack targeted a weapons shipment for Hezbollah at the airport south of the capital. SOHR said Syrian army and Iranian weapons storage facilities were hit. |
Gbajabiamila: African Speakers Seeking Debt Cancellation, not Review The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, has said that the Conference of Speakers and Heads of African Parliaments (CoSAP) is out to push for total debt cancellation by creditor-nations as opposed to debt relief or review. Gbajabiamila, who was speaking on day two of the ongoing 1st CoSAP in Abuja, Nigeria, explained that the body would want all debts owed by African countries cancelled. The Speaker was contributing to discussions on the first plenary topic of the day, ‘Financing Africa’s pandemic Response: Legislative Imperatives and Interventions’, anchored by the Country Representative in Nigeria, World Health Organisation (WHO), Dr Walter Kazadi Mulombo. The session was chaired by the Speaker of the National Assembly of South Africa, Hon. Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula. He noted that this would help the countries to start from “reset the button to zero”, meaning they had no debts outstanding against them. Compared to debt review or relief, Gbajabiamila told his colleagues that in the case of the latter, the debts would still be outstanding, except that there would be some alterations, adjustments or even postponement of the repayment schedules. “We want to reset our buttons to read from zero. That is the position, and I appeal that we all support this push,” he stated Participants at the session backing Gbajabiamila’s position spoke on the need for parliaments to step up their oversight duties in tracking how the executive spent the loans taken on behalf of countries, which ended as debt burdens or traps. Some noted that in countries that secured debt reliefs, the parliaments must interrogate how the money returned to them was spent. They pointed out that the creditor-nations, in considering the appeals for debt cancellation or relief, would look at several factors, including accounting for how the loans were utilised and the compliance of countries to agreements signed at the inception of the loan requests. Meanwhile, as part of his recommendation for tackling or preparing for pandemics, Gbajabiamila suggested setting aside a percentage of the health budget for vaccine research and manufacturing by African nations. He said this could also be legislated to make compliance mandatory. The Speaker also recommended the establishment of an African Centre for Vaccine Research and Production. He explained that the joint centre could be located anywhere on the continent, where all African countries could contribute to its development. The Senate on Tuesday passed an amendment to tlSection 84( of the Electoral Act 2022 to enable statutory delegates to participate in political parties’ congresses and conventions. The red chamber claimed it unintentionally omitted the statutory delegates from the version of the Act, assented to by President Muhammadu Buhari in February. The Act before the amendments, prevented statutory delegates from voting during party primaries. Statutory delegates are, councillors, local government chairmen and their vice, political party chairmen in all the 774 local government areas. They also included state and federal legislators, governors and their deputies, president and vice president. Members of the political parties’ National Working Committee and, state party chairmen and secretaries, also fall in the category. The Senate amended the clause after considering a bill sponsored by Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege during plenary on Tuesday. The amendment will now allow statutory delegates, in addition to the delegates elected by various political parties, vote during congresses and conventions to elect candidates for various political offices. The Senate President Ahmad Lawan said the “unintended clause” had to be amended before commencement of party primaries. He said the House of Representatives would also pass the same amendment on Wednesday before transmitting it to the president for assent latest next week. He said the amendment had become imperative to ensure that no one was denied his rights during political parties’ activities. Omo-Agege said, “The Bill seeks to amend the Electoral Act 2022 to make provision for delegates who, not being elected delegates, as prescribed in the Constitution of a Political Party to participate in the convention, congress or meeting of the party. “The Bill was read for the first time on the floor of the Senate today Tuesday: 10 May, 2022. “As couched in Section 84 ( of the Electoral Act, 2022 does not provide for the participation of what is generally known as ‘statutory delegates in the conventions, congresses or meetings of political parties. “The extant subsection only clearly provides for the participation of elected delegates in the conventions, congresses or meetings of political parties held to nominate candidates of political parties. “This is an unintended error and we can only correct it with this amendment now before us.The passage of this Bill will further strengthen our electoral system.” https://www.thisdaylive.com |

Russia threatens nuclear war: We would destroy NATO countries in 30 minutes Moscow space agency head says nuclear war would be devastating for the planet, but would result in a decisive win for Russia. By World Israel News Staff A top Russian government official has warned that Moscow could easily destroy NATO-allied countries in the event of a nuclear war. “NATO is waging a war against us. They didn’t announce it, but that doesn’t change anything. Now it’s obvious to everyone,” said Dmitry Rogozin, the head of Russian space agency Roscosmos, via a message on his Telegram channel. “In a nuclear war, NATO countries will be destroyed by us in half an hour,” he continued. “But we must not allow it, because the consequences of the exchange of nuclear strikes will affect the state of our Earth. Therefore, we will have to defeat this economically and militarily more powerful enemy with conventional armed means.” Rogozin added that a decisive defeat of NATO would be dependent upon strong cooperation among the public, military and state industries. “Such a victory is possible with the full solidarity of the whole country with the army and the mobilization of the state economy,” he said. In recent weeks, Rogozin has made a number of comments against NATO and countries allying themselves with the Ukrainian cause. Leaders pushing for sanctions against Russia as a result of the invasion were “suffering from Alzheimer’s disease,” Rogozin said, in what appeared to be a reference to President Joe Biden. As Russia geared up for a bombastic Victory Day on Monday, Moscow appeared to be leveraging the celebrations as a very public display of Russia’s military prowess against the backdrop of the ongoing invasion of Ukraine. Observed annually on May 9th, Victory Day marks the Allied victory over the German-Italian-Japanese axis in World War II and typically includes military parades and ceremonies commemorating veterans. But this year, Fox News reported, Russia has embraced a “nuclear” theme for its Victory Day events, including flying a “doomsday plane” that Russian President Vladimir Putin would board in the event of a nuclear war. The Daily Mail reported that a number of Russia’s nuclear weapons were wheeled through the streets of Moscow, just meters away from the Kremlin, as part of a dress rehearsal for the parade. https://worldisraelnews.com/russia-threatens-nuclear-war-we-would-destroy-nato-countries-in-30-minutes/ |
‘I gave him a date with 70 virgins’ — Father who shot Tekoa terrorist speaks out “Even a chubby high-tech worker,” he said, referring to himself, “becomes something else when he realizes that someone is coming to murder his family.” Initially, Maimon demanded that the man, who was holding a knife, stop approaching his home. “The [terrorist] shouted back at me ‘quiet!’ with a thick Arabic accent, and took another step towards me. So I arranged a date for him with 70 virgins.” In Islamic tradition, a man who dies a martyr for an Islamic cause is said to be rewarded in paradise with 72 virgins. While Maimon admitted he was surprised by the infiltration, he conceded that these types of events are part of the fabric of life in Judea and Samaria. “We live here in a hostile environment, not in Switzerland,” he said. “I have been on standby for 13 years… I did military service.” Maimon credited mandatory military service in Israel as a major factor for keeping society safe. Beyond “being teachers, high-tech workers, and lawyers, we are also military personnel, and that is present in all of us,” he said. Maimon’s 13-year-old daughter filmed part of the incident, despite her father repeatedly telling her to move back. “OMG terrorists came next to my house and my father shot one,” she wrote as the caption to the video, which she uploaded on social media. In the video, Maimon can be seen approaching the dead terrorist, who is laying in his front yard, while continuing to aim an M-16 rifle at his body. “Die!” Maimon’s daughter is heard saying in the background, before she begins to shriek and bursts into tears. The terrorist’s three accomplices have not yet been apprehended. https://worldisraelnews.com/i-gave-him-a-date-with-70-virgins-father-who-shot-tekoa-terrorist-speaks-out/ |
[JUST IN] Killings: Resign now, Northern elders tell Buhari Northern Elders Forum on Tuesday asked the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), to “resign immediately” over failure in providing security for Nigerians. The organisation tabled the demand in a statement by its spokesperson, Dr Hakeem Baba-Ahmed. According to him, it is disappointing that after about seven years of being in office, Buhari still has no answers to the security challenges across the country. Baba-Ahmed said, “The administration of President Muhammadu Buhari does not appear to have answers to the challenges of security to which we are exposed. “We cannot continue to live and die under the dictates of killers, kidnappers, rapists and sundry criminal groups that have deprived us of our rights to live in peace and security. “Our constitution has provisions for leaders to voluntarily step down if they are challenged by personal reasons or they prove incapable of leading. “It is now time for President Buhari to seriously consider that option, since his leadership has proved spectacularly incapable of providing security over Nigerians. Our Forum is aware of the weight of this advice, and it is also aware that we cannot continue to live under these conditions until 2023 when President Buhari’s term ends. “Killers and other criminals appear to have sensed a paralyzing vacuum at the highest levels of leadership, and they grow more confident and acquire more competence in subverting the State and our security. “Nigerians have shed enough tears and blood without appropriate response from those with responsibilities to protect us.” https://punchng.com/just-in-killings-resign-now-northern-elders-tell-buhari/ |

“Within a decade, I hope we will be able to increase fertility among older women using anti-viral drugs.” By Pesach Benson, United With Israel Throughout much of the world, increasing numbers of women are delaying having their first child until they are in their late thirties and even their forties. At this age, their eggs are rapidly deteriorating and, even with modern IVF treatment, the prospects of conception are far from guaranteed. But what if an egg’s deterioration process could be reversed? That’s the goal of molecular biologist Dr. Michael Klutstein, head of the Chromatin and Aging Research Lab in the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (HU). This possibility came one step closer with recent research from his lab, carried out by PhD student Peera Wasserzug-Pash. in collaboration with clinicians from Hadassah Medical Center and Shaare Zedek hospitals. Their findings were published in Aging Cell, a peer-reviewed monthly journal. In a sense, the deterioration of eggs actually begins the moment a baby girl is born. Women are born with approximately one million eggs in their ovaries, sometimes more. But by the time a woman reaches puberty the number of viable eggs dwindles down to roughly 300,000. Of those, 300-400 will be ovulated — released into the fallopian tubes where an egg can be potentially fertilized by sperm. However, a woman’s egg cells begin to accumulate damage to their genetic material when a woman is relatively young. By a woman’s late-thirties, her eggs have accumulated so much damage to the DNA that they are unable to mature and be fertilized. Moreover, for every egg that ovulates, an estimated 1,000 die each month. And as a woman ages, that number accelerates. When a woman runs out of viable eggs, the ovaries stop producing the estrogen hormone and her body begins going through menopause. Anti-Viral Drugs Reversed the Deterioration Dr. Klutstein’s team successfully identified one of the aging processes that prevent the successful maturation of an egg cell. Most importantly among them is the loss of the regulation processes that normally stop the damaging parts of DNA from becoming active. Klutstein and his HU team’s research, using mouse and human egg cells, not only identified the details of these processes but showed how they are interrelated and ultimately prevent an egg cell from maturing. To confirm their findings, the team then used chemicals that mimic the actual processes that stop repression of sections of the egg cell’s DNA and liberate the DNA-damaging viruses. Reproducing the aging processes artificially enabled the team to link the processes of loss of genomic regulation and the expression of damaging elements in aging egg cells. The final stage of their research tested ways to reverse the destructive aging processes at work in an egg cell. If viruses or parts of viruses were released and activated in aging eggs, then perhaps anti-viral drugs could prevent this process and the resulting damage. In their paper, the researchers showed that anti-viral drugs did indeed reverse the process in mouse egg cells and returned to their former youthful selves. There has also been similar success using genetic manipulation to insert two genes into the mouse egg cell DNA – the implanted genes produce enzymes which prevent the chain of events that leads to the activation of the damaging parts of the DNA. “Within a decade, I hope we will be able to increase fertility among older women using anti-viral drugs,” Klutstein said. https://unitedwithisrael.org/israeli-researchers-reverse-aging-in-human-eggs-to-extend-fertility/
