🛑 Israel has consistently warned about the extensive infiltration of Hamas into UNRWA. 🛑 Israel has consistently warned about the abuse of UNRWA's staff and facilities to advance terrorist activity against Israel. 🛑 UNRWA staff actively participated in the October 7th massacre. 🛑 In July 2024 Israel provided UNRWA a partial list of 100 HAMAS operatives employed by UNWRA in Gaza. Yet, the UN has not taken any action on this issue. 🛑 Just last week, one of the UNRWA staff members, Mohammad Abu Itiwi, who participated in the October 7th massacre, attacking and kidnapping innocent Israelis who hid in a bomb shelter near Kibbutz Reim, was eliminated by the IDF. The Secretary General of the UN condemned the killing of this individual, instead of taking action against him back in July, when the list was given to the UN. 🛑 Israel remains committed to its obligations under international law. In this respect, Israel is dedicated to expand humanitarian assistance to the residents of the Gaza Strip through international organizationsand NGO's that are not involved in terrorism, and will continue to work toward achieving this aim with relevant partners such as the WFP, UNICEF, WHO and other organizations. Maj. Gen. Aviad Dagan has taken over the IDF's Computer Service Directorate, replacing Maj. Gen. Eran Niv who is retiring from the IDF after a 35-year military career. Dagan, who began his military service in the Israeli Air Force, previously headed the directorate's digital transformation division, and before that, he was the commander of the Hatzerim Airbase. Amid the ongoing war, Dagan has served as a navigator in the IAF's 201st Squadron. He reportedly participated in the strikes on Iran early Saturday.

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi visited Hezbollah's massive underground base in southern Lebanon earlier this week, before it was blown up, where he issued comments directed at the United Nations and other countries. "We have been saying for years that Hezbollah is preparing the border area for war. For the countries of the world who were skeptical, for the UN, for UNIFIL who were above here, this evidence is very important to understand why we are destroying what is underground and above ground, and why we need to make sure that these things don't return," Halevi says in a video statement published by the IDF. Defense Minister Yoav Gallant says Iran's air defenses and missile production capabilities have been weakened by Israel's strikes, and that "this is a change in the balance of power." "The response seems very precise, high-quality, and deadly for what we wanted to hit and I think the IDF has not done an operation like this, the Air Force has not done an operation like this since Operation Focus," Gallant says to top IAF officials and IDF chief of staff, referring to the opening strikes of the 1967 Six Day War. "This is a proof of ability... A very accurate hit on the radars and the air defense systems, which actually creates a big disadvantage for the enemy when we want to attack later," he says. Gallant says that the strikes also damaged Iran's missile production capabilities and now its stockpiles are limited until manufacturing can resume.
