How does the country with the world's third-largest gas reserves suffer from an electricity shortage? Iran’s growing electricity shortage is the story of the failed ayatollah regime. Iran has the world’s third-largest natural gas reserves, so it’s no wonder that about 86% of the country’s electricity production is based on natural gas. However, in recent weeks, Iran has been suffering from power outages and growing public anger. The authorities attribute the current crisis to winter and sanctions, but the issue goes much deeper than that and is related to the regime’s mismanagement of the Iranian energy sector and its distorted priorities. Every year, despite sanctions, Iran manages to bring in about $35 billion a year from oil exports. But instead of directing these resources to upgrading the aging infrastructure of the energy sector, the funds were directed to building the crumbling Shiite axis. Iran has also failed in its planning policy. Alongside the development of industrial zones, no parallel plans have been built to increase the supply of energy inputs or diversify its sources. 95% of households in Iran rely on the country's natural gas network, and in times of distress when supply does not meet demand, industrial plants are shut down, which increases the economic damage. The bad news for Iran is that it currently suffers from a 20 gigawatt shortage, and even if we assume that Iran signs a new nuclear agreement, sanctions are lifted, and it meets global financial standards, it will take at least 3-4 years for investments in the electricity sector to begin to bear fruit... |

After a middle-aged Saudi Arabian man carried out a Ramming Attack tonight on a Christmas Market in Magdeburg, Germany, the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has released a Statement condemning the attack. Noticeably, there is no direct mention of the Attacker himself.

Full details about the attack last night in Yemen: At 3:15, the first wave of Air Force aircraft began an attack on the coastal area in Yemen - more than 1,700 km from the State of Israel. At 4:30, a second wave of attacks in the Sana'a area. 14 fighter jets participated in the attack - all returned to Israel safely. Dozens of bombs were dropped on targets in the port of Hodeidah, the port of Ras Issa, and the port of Al-Salif. In the ports, the tugboats that bring the ships to the port were attacked, which cripples their ability to bring tankers and merchant ships to all their ports. Two targets in Sana'a were also attacked - fuel and oil tanks, and a power plant. A total of 5 targets were attacked throughout Yemen, each target including dozens of components. The Houthis have fired more than 200 surface-to-surface (ballistic) missiles and another 170 drones since the beginning of the war .
