BREAKING Warplanes of unknown origin conducted airstrikes on Qamishli, on the Syrian side of the Türkiye-Syria border. Airstrikes reportedly targeted weapons depots belonging to the Assad regime. The explosions were visible from Türkiye.

The Israeli Air Force is not the only Air Force operating in the skies of Syria: The American Central Command announced that its air forces today carried out dozens of targeted strikes against ISIS camps and operatives in central Syria. According to the announcement, fighter planes and bombers, including B-52s, attacked 75 targets, and now the results are being examined, but there are no signs of harming civilians. The commander of the command, General Eric Korilla, made it clear that they will not allow ISIS to take advantage of the developments in Syria to recover. The body of Major General Ali Mahmoud, deputy operational commander of the 4th Armored Division in the Syrian Arab Army (a loyal force under the command of Maher al-Assad, the brother of the former Syrian president), was found shot in his office in the town of Sabura, on the outskirts of Damascus. According to Syrian sources, Mahmoud was responsible for operating the chemical weapons of this unit.
