Good day all.
Please I am stuck at trying to book appointment date, each time I check I get a prompt of this error message that say “Currently there is no appointments available for the selected location”
I need to know if I’m doing something wrong or its a normal occurrence as I can see some are seeing dates on their profile.
I really appreciate a response please.
Thank you in advance.

TEMIT0PE: If the question is if the Consulate in Lagos or Embassy in Abuja are still doing interviews, the answer is yes.
I know someone who went in for an interview in Abuja today.
If the Embassy/Consulate will be stopping interviews due to any protest, they will always share the news on their website (https://ng.usembassy.gov/) and on their social media pages (especially Twitter/X) - https://x.com/usinnigeria?lang=en
Thank you Temitope for the information
I will also do well to follow the handle posted.
Appreciate it… |

OyoTunjiUSA: Hey 🤠
1. The success rate for Emergency F1-VISA appointment is 90% ov.100 for all international students but only If they follow the laid down procedures , and they are first-timers.
2. Yes. It is always honoured (if you follow the rules). I don't think there is any travel section (worldwide) that match the population of international students that must resume into USA institutions yearly. Its a bigger contribution to USA economies and human resources.
3. Abuja, and Lagos are guided by same rules. Well , it is believed (not official record) that Lagos population of F1-VISA seekers is higher than those of Abuja but i don't believe in the notion.
Best Wishes 🙏 Good Morning all Can anyone kindly confirm if the Embassy is currently working even with the protest going on the country. Thank you in advance….. |

Scholar212: Handbags are not allowed. In Abuja you can only go in with your folder containing documents and phone which will be deposited with the security inside after CGI check and you are given a tag for it. In Lagos they say you can't even go in with phone, just your documents. Both both places have people outside who run business with keeping of bags and valuables which is at your own risk as the embassy has no business with them. Good Morning, Thank you for this Information |

Good Evening All, Hope we all had a stress free day.
Kindly I will like to confirm from people that have been to the embassy before if handbags are allowed inside the embassy or you have to just enter with your document folder.
Thanks in advance….. |

mayford: You're welcome.
Did the email state the reason why your appointment was cancelled? Can you please share? Well, according to the mail due to “Capacity Limitations, but urge to keep an eye on the appointment system for a reschedule” My concerns now is that this mail is dated back to 11th June and I had no idea cause it was in the spam box. Now all available dates i am seeing are not favorable at all. From 11th July to November 13, latest i saw now is October something. |

mayford: Likely your appointment was cancelled and you're given another window to reschedule to the next available date.
Check your email for the cancellation email.
Otherwise, you can contact the embassy hotline or send them an email. Thank you for prompt response sir And yes you’re right, i just saw a mail from them in my Spam box. Thanks |
