Politics / Re: Jonathan Should Not Be Allowed To Escape Presidential Debates This Time Around. by rimms(m): 3:40pm On Dec 07, 2014
Goodluck Ebele Jonathan should not be allowed to play Nigerian voters this time around by systematically avoiding presidential debates. He must be forced to present Nigerians with what he plans to do in the next 4 years in office.
Nigerians are eager to know their next president. Live presidential debates are necessary and must be enforced.
This is the only way the candidates will have the opportunity to openly defend their records and credentials.

I recommend 4 presidential debates before Feb 14, 2015 (1. Security, 2. CORRUPTION 3. Economy and 4. Power supply).

“Debates help you to test the candidates and be able to form an idea; that this candidate has an idea what the problems are. Those are the things that help people to make choices.” He cited the example of the best-known presidential debate in Nigerian history, the one between M.K.O. Abiola and Bashir Tofa, in June 1993. “Immediately, Tofa could not answer what the price of fuel was, it became clear to Nigerians that this was the candidate who was disconnected… We should not have people seeking high office without participating in debates.” By Babatunde Fashola

Even if the debate takes place pls expect not to have power supply all over the country on the day of the debate. Newly discovered powerless PDP are ready to do anything to push their bad product through. But Nigeria of today is different from yesterday, people are sick of poor leadership, living in poverty with no hope and dying day after day because we have a clueless president.
I support presidential debate 100 percent.
This will surely expose our featherbrained president.

Buhari will not get any Igbo vote, Jonathan too will not get any hausa vote.
Igbo population = 15%
Hausa population = 56%

You do the math.

It is not new to anyone in the country or outside the country that Jonathan is allergic to anything presidential.
I have nothing but utmost respect for a man of honor like Tam David West.
It shouldn't be about pushing an unskilled president thru, but all about the future of our country. Once again, I salute Tam David West for his courage. We need more people like this man around and less of desperate sycophants that think of nothing but themselves.

What is your take on the recent happenings at the National Assembly where lawmakers were seen scaling the NASS gate and even allegedly tear-gassed by the police?

It's a big shame. You see, President Jonathan said he has Ph.D but he thinks like a secondary school boy and I am not being rude. Why should he take that chance? Tambuwal has defected and he knows he cannot touch him. PDP never wanted Tambuwal to be Speaker. He only emerged speaker through the support of the opposition parties. And he is a Speaker for Nigeria not for PDP. He left PDP and it's paining them. They wanted to impeach him and it didn't work out.

So, I was so sad watching lawmakers being made to climb the NASS gate. What the police did was bad, yet, they were not able to stop the lawmakers from entering. They still went in, sat and did business. What Jonathan did was out of desperation but by the grace of Almighty God, the God that loves Nigeria, I believe we'll get PDP out in 2015.

I see Gen Buhari as an extra-ordinary man, a real man and detribalised Nigerian. He is clean, not corrupt. He is a man of integrity. And I challenge anybody, both President Jonathan and all his supporters, to contest it in an open debate. I believe that only Buhari can fight corruption in Nigeria because he honestly detests corruption. He has been head of state, minister of petroleum and governor of a north-eastern state. He was also the executive chairman of Petroleum Trust fund (PTF) and in all that, he was not soiled in any way. When he was accused of corruption, he challenged them to show the world his corruption. Till date they have not. He is the only former head of state that has no plot of land and house in Abuja and no oil block anywhere.

Whenever he goes to Abuja he stays in a hotel. He stayed clean in and out of office. And I think that we need only clean individuals to lead this country. I can assure you that when elected, Buhari will fix Nigeria within his first 100 days in office. In the first 100 days, the price of petrol must come down from N97 to between N40 and N50. He has done it before and he will do it again. He is honest and you can trust him. He has proved to be an extraordinary Nigerian in and out of uniform; and a leader of rare qualities

So, I support him, I have my reasons for that and I am free to express them. I am not a politician. I don't belong to any political party. But I am APC at heart and I have no apology for that.

Tam David-West hits Jonathan

Our president thinks like a schoolboy

Former Minister for Petroleum, Professor Tam David West is an ardent supporter of General Muhammadu Buhari's 2015 presidential ambition. He believes that the former head of state is the only one that can change Nigeria if given the chance to rule the country again. In this interview, the professor, who is President Jonathan's kinsman, describes the president as the worst Nigerian leader in the nation's history and speaks on other national issues. Excerpts:

If you guys knew Mike Adenuga, his businesses and his method of operation you wouldn't be here questioning this OP. If you don't believe him, please go and speak to other conoil employees or former ETB employees. This is how this man manages all his businesses for many years. No record, no transparency and no sensible system. Glo is managed exactly how Nigeria is being managed. Too much money to throw around, therefore this man will not feel the effect of bla bla business operation or change his ways. The structure of any organization says a lot about what the owner is made up of. Glo would be making additional 60% more profit today only if Mike Adenuga listens. The man listens to nobody but his boot lickers, who are determined to continue to suck him alive and dry. I was told that there are many invisible workers and bills Glo pays every month, and yet Mike Adenuga is a guru who knows it all. Again, you will not see this rubbish taking place at Dangote Cement. Not because Dangote is good looking, but only because he is a decent person and a better businessman. Adenuga should be blamed and nobody else. Glo will never go public for this reason.

@OP.

This topic is one of the reasons why Mike Adenuga is a failure of all time.

The silly man only speaks or sees only about 8 people, that give him info regarding all his businesses and day to day personal activities. His children find it very difficult to relate or work for the man. He doesn't want any of his people, including his children to make it to the top.
All this same 8 sycophant this man sees on a daily or weekly basis also happen to be professional thieves and his downfall. Mike Adenuga is not what everyone thinks. He is very childish, unreasonable, unprofessional, untrustworthy, unorganized, he lacks common sense and not a father or family man anyone wants.
He has trouble seeing what is important and this is why this 8 people will suck him dry. Anyone would agree that at least 2 or 3 of his children by now should be fully controlling his empire, but Mike Adenuga sees himself as a little God that wants no one else, including his own family to shine. Everything he does for anyone from A thru z is to benefit himself.
This is a man that has no idea of how many houses, cars, or other assets that belong to him, and yet he is labelled as a sophisticated businessman that knows it all. Mike Adenuga's method of operation is more like a bully type, he doesn't know how else to function.
Do you really think what is going on with Glo today could ever take place at Dangote Cement? And for your information, Conoil employees are also experiencing the same bitter treatment, and ETB employees went thru the same exact terrible experience.
@OP, do not blame anyone, but Mike Adenuga that refuses to understand what is important and work toward better future for himself, businesses and family that he will leave behind one day. A good name is better than diamond and gold, those people that know Mike Adenuga, his businesses and method of operation know that Mike Adenuga is not close to a good name. The sad part of the matter is, the sycophant he surrounds himself with are determined to viciously suck this man forever and ever and ever and ever, because he is a big fuull.
Iyabo's letter to her father will match a letter from one of Mike Adenuga's children. That is how shallow this man happens to be.
@OP, Mike Adenuga has done things this way for many years, he will not change. Just do what others have done. Steal as much as possible and find your way out. You will never see or get anything good from an organization that is poorly managed by illiterate boot lickers who see Mike Adenuga as a silly bafoon

This is a very weak and s1lly excuse.
Those of us that know this dude well well also understand that Mike Adenuga is unable to flow naturally around normal people/ normal circumstances because of his heartless method of operation.
We all know that his weird behavior comes from being unreasonable, unrealistic and totally unable to see past the end of his nose. He is so full of himself and too blind to see what is really important.

The truth is: Mike Adenuga loves to party just like any other Nigerian, but his unpredictable bizarre behavior has mostly kept him in house. Run away from the world, but can't hide yourself from yourself.

Life isn't that difficult only if you practice to always do what is right.

Mike didn't only attend the burial of his brother in-law, the dude also did not attend his own wife's big 50 birthday party.

http://theoctopusnews.com/2013/11/19/exclusive-why-otunba-mike-adenuga-shunned-peter-okoyes-wedding-the-real-story/

Those who know Otunba Mike Adenuga will tell you that he is not a party person. As such, when the news breezed in that he had been made the chairman of Peter Okoye’s wedding those who knew the man concluded that it simply going to be another party without the chairman present. But as the verbose P-Square continued with the noise all in a bid to show their level of showmanship in the entertainment industry it soon became a story of sidon look, as a lot of people waited patiently to see if P-Square really had the weight they had been boasting of. Alas, the day came and the chairman of Globacom Otunba, Mike Adenuga, was no where to be found. www.theoctopusnews.com, can reveal to you and for free that at no time did Adenuga ever thought of attending the wedding because his love for parties is as minute as finding water in the desert. Over the years, those who know Adenuga, will tell you that he is a man who loves siren environment, and party scenes scares him a lot. In recent times, some of the important parties which he was expected to show up and did not attend eventually includes the burial ceremony of his socialite brother in-law Akin Temple, who was the younger brother of Adenuga’s wife Titi Adenuga. Adenuga was recently shown a lot of love by his staffers who threw a big party to mark his birthday. www.theoctopusnews.com, learnt that on getting to the party and while he was about stepping into the venue his staffers started rooting for him and just like one lost in a maze Adenuga turned back, went into his car and drove off. An associate of the business mogul once confided in www.theoctopusnews.com that but for the fact that Bella Disu was his beloved daughter he probably would have been absent at her wedding. You may recall that even when the officiating minister asked who was giving out the bride during the church wedding which took place at Cathedral Church of Christ in Marina, Lagos, Adenuga could barely answer. If Adenuga could barely attend the wedding of his own child and did not attend the burial of his brother in-law, who then is P-Square, who Adenuga pays to work for him. -

Celebrities / Mike Adenuga Did Not Show Up At P-square Wedding Ceremony As Promised by rimms(m): 7:12pm On Nov 18, 2013
The father of the day Globacom boss Mike Adenuga also did not attend as expected but was represented by the COO of the telecoms company Mohamed Jameel.

LMAO!

I could have easily predicted that this dude was not going to show up.
How could anyone expect Mike Adenuga, who was pretty much forced to participate in his own daughter's wedding ceremony to attend Peter's wedding? For your information: Superman Mike hardly does anything for his own family members, therefore it was completely senseless to expect him to show up.

Abeg, Mike Adenuga is not Aliko Dangote (a man of honor and integrity)

North-East unrest affected polio eradication in Nigeria - Bill Gates •Dangote, Bill Gates set to eradicate polio in Nigeria next year

http://www.tribune.com.ng/news2013/index.php/en/news/lead-stories/item/26200-north-east-unrest-affected-polio-eradication-in-nigeria-bill-gates-%E2%80%A2dangote,-bill-gates-set-to-eradicate-polio-in-nigeria-next-year.html

Words can not totally express how much I admire Dangote and all what he continues to do to bring this country back to the map. Myself and other Nigerians will forever be grateful for his great efforts, not only to make Nigeria a respectable country, but also to show that many great things can take place in Africa by Africans.

More power to his elbow.

At first, I was expecting to see Mr superman (Adenuga) in this picture before a friend quickly reminded me that Oga Glo doesn't have the integrity, sincere heart, courage and maturity level to stand next to Bill Gate.
I guess, Bill Gate too, like other money hungry Nigerians must book an appointment before he could be fortunate enough to see oga glo.

Apart from throwing money around the Green Eagles, Golden Eaglets and championing the wedding ceremony of my good friend, Peter Okoye (of P-square), oga glo can not been seen among these real people/ real Nigerians, that sincerely want the best for the Nigeria of today and tomorrow.

I LMAO, when I was told that oga glo, who was forced to be part of his own daughter's wedding, has decided to be part of the wedding ceremony of p-square. Very scary indeed.
My advise to Peter is to watch his back. Oga glo just doesn't make any moves without enormously benefiting from it. He doesn't know how else to function. And do not accept any gifts from this man, because he may take them back when he gets upset.

Anyway, let us all do our part in contributing towards polio eradication in Nigeria. Dangote and Bill Gate have set up the foundation, its now up to all of us to step up and do something.
