I love my dogs sooo much. They are two - one male and a female. Though they are local dogs at birth, when you see them you wouldn't believe.

This recent situation in the country has made my dogs lean...lol it's not cos of that, it's because schools are on holidays now. You know what I mean ;-).

Even with the fact that they are lean, they are still elegant. Mannn...you would dash your dog out when you see mine.

The picture below is that of my female dog four years old taken TODAY. If you think your own dog is finer oya prove me wrong by uploading a recent picture of yours.

Also, if you want to see pictures of my male dog (that one is the finest in the world!!!), challenge me. Those dogs are worth a million dollars but I can't sell them .

Lemme tell you a story. A fish hawker was selling her normal goods in the market with her baby on her back. Then she wore this apron that those people normally wear, where they keep their money. The particular part where the money is being kept now extended over the baby's leg and it was bulging, so you would think that it's money that was very much there. Some die-hard thieves had cut off the baby's leg already before realizing it's not money.

When I just joined Nairaland, I didn't take much notice of the 'Website URL' option in the Profile Edit page. I just put in the url of my website normally www.....com and I saved. But recently, I decided to check what would happen if someone clicked on it.

Guess what I saw?

The url was www.nairaland.com/mywebsiteurl

I was perplexed. I went back to edit my profile and saw that the correct url www.mywebsite.com and I finally gave up.

But after some months of learning HTML and CSS, I finally found the problem and it's solution.

NOTE: I'm not saying I'm a guru in html and css, neither am I saying I was the first to solve this problem. I've never seen a thread on this topic before so I decided to post to help others.

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM

In web designing, if you type in a url in html without 'http://' the browser will interpret it thus: www.currentwebsite/typedinwebsite

So everyone saves his/her website as www.mywebsite.com. The browser then interprets it as www.nairaland.com/www.mywebsite.com, and that leads to an invalid url.

WHAT TO DO

Simply save your website as http://yourwebsite.com, save, click on it and SEE THE MAGIC. Cheers.
