FamilyChildren: The Best Gift To Mankind by RisenObinna(op): 4:28pm On Nov 07, 2025
One of the best gifts God gave to men is children.

For the past two weeks, I’ve been staying with my niece. She’s 7 and in Primary 3.
Her school gives daily assignments, and I often help her with the ones she finds difficult. It gives me so much joy — though, honestly, it also puts a subtle pressure on me to get married 😅. I now find myself looking forward to helping her at the end of every school day.

Today, I came back and saw her writing something on a piece of paper. I looked closer and realized she was composing a birthday song and message. When I asked who it was for, she said it was for her younger sister — another of my nieces. That moment filled me with an indescribable joy.

USA are good in intelligent gathering, they do warn their people not to visit south east because of no 10 rated terrorist organization working in that zone. Does USA has any investment in south east, mention them if the exist? It is because of ipob/ESN they deserted south east. When they come to Nigeria, all just stay in south west alone. So, ipob/ESN can't escape USA invasion and elimination

PoliticsSenator Henry Dickson On Trump's Statement by RisenObinna(op): 10:29pm On Nov 05, 2025
Alleged Genocide: My Stance On President Trump’s Statement

I wish to state, firstly, that Nigeria’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national institutions must be respected by all. At the same time, I fully support any collaborative action aimed at eradicating the murderous bands of terrorists who have wantonly slaughtered thousands of our countrymen and women — Christians, Muslims, and people of other faiths alike.

For almost 15 years, jihadist terrorist groups such as Boko Haram and affiliates of ISWAP, ISIS, al-Qaeda, and, more recently, groups like Lakurawa and Wulowulo, have wreaked unimaginable havoc. They introduced suicide bombing in Nigeria and began a murderous campaign, especially in Borno State, from which it gradually spread across the northeastern part of our country.

Places of worship — both churches and mosques, as well as palaces and traditional rulers have not been spared in their bloodbath. School children have been kidnapped, killed, or forcefully married off. The victims of these jihadist attacks, which began in Borno, were Muslims and Christians.

As fundamentalist groups opposed to Western education, these terrorists have consistently targeted schools and students, leading to the abductions of the Chibok girls, Dapchi girls, and Buni Yadi school children, among others. Till today, Nigeria has not fully accounted for the whereabouts of many of these students — for instance, Leah Sharibu and some Chibok girls remain missing.

Universities and their students have also suffered attacks, and these terrorist groups still maintain footholds and control territories within Nigeria. In states such as Borno, Zamfara, and Katsina, according to accounts from government officials and community leaders, these terrorists continue to control territories, impose taxes on locals, and generally exercise authority — by their own rules, not by the laws of the Nigerian state or the Constitution.

This is a direct affront to Nigeria’s sovereignty and should not be tolerated any further. President Trump’s statement is a wake-up call to action. If the Nigerian government is unable to address this issue effectively, then it must collaborate with those who can help us flush out these terrorists.

At the Senate, my colleagues and I have repeatedly raised these issues, even beyond the floor of the Senate. Hardly a week passes without a member of the Senate drawing attention to reports of killings and attacks on villages in one constituency or the other. The Senate has paid countless tributes in memory of those killed, as well as several suggestions and proposals to the Executive, including the proposal for a National Security Summit to be held soon. Most recently, the Senate took a motion and directed its leadership to interface with the President to dispatch a non-partisan team of experts and statesmen to Washington D.C.

Even states that were once considered safe zones have now been affected, as the insurgency, banditry, and terrorism have spread to places like Sokoto, Zamfara, Taraba, Katsina, Niger, and even Kwara. Everyone in Nigeria knows that in the Middle Belt regions of Benue and Plateau, and also in Southern Kaduna, the coordinated massacres of innocent citizens by marauding terrorists and bandits, coupled with the displacement of Indigenous communities, have been going on for many years. Some of the footages of the carnage are unimaginable, while efforts by government and security agencies have clearly not been effective in tackling the menace.

The failure of successive governments in Nigeria to prevent, arrest, or punish perpetrators decisively created room for several conspiracy theories, including state complicity under late President Buhari’s administration — a concern once raised by no less a person than General T. Y. Danjuma, a former Chief of Army Staff and former Minister of Defence, in reaction to the slaughter and unrestrained killings in his home state of Taraba during the Buhari administration. Late President Buhari’s policy of appointing mostly Muslims to head all the security services during his eight years in office further worsened these perceptions.

As Nigerians, we must be honest with ourselves that the killings have gone on for too long and government and security forces have been overwhelmed. We need help! No nation can confront terrorism in isolation. We must therefore work with our allies and partners to defeat this menace once and for all.

It is on the strength of the foregoing that I strongly recommend that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu should collaborate with President Donald Trump, the US Government, and other allies and friends of Nigeria to flush out these marauding terrorists. He should also improve relations with our neighbouring countries whose cooperation and support will be essential in the war against terrorism.

I have, on several occasions, as Vice Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, raised concerns about the non-appointment of ambassadors for over two years. This anomaly should be corrected as soon as possible to enable our country maximise its diplomatic resources and options.

May God help Nigeria.

HSD.

PoliticsTrump’s Move Exposes The Real Parasites Of Nigeria by RisenObinna(op): 1:34pm On Nov 03, 2025
I’ve supported personalities like VDM and agreed with Ghe Ghe on several issues here on social media.

However, I’ve intentionally avoided wearing any tag such as Ratel, Ghe Ghe Students, this or that FC, this or that Nation, etc.

Why? Because I’m an independent-minded adult with a mind of my own, someone smart enough to understand how the deep state operates.

One of the strongest weapons of the deep state is media.

Have you ever wondered why almost all the radio stations in your state are owned by either your governor or some prominent politician?

The truth is, most of those media houses aren’t even profitable on paper, yet they somehow manage to run on diesel 24 hours a day. Do you really think those random adverts you hear keep those stations afloat? No.

Those stations are tools of indoctrination and influence, pure and simple.

Have you heard about the deep state? Research about it.

Now, have you noticed that in the last 24 hours, most of the loudest and most influential social media voices are suddenly working overtime to d3mònize Trump and the United States, and they all seem to be reading from the same script?

Let’s be honest, most of those narratives aren’t born out of love for the nation, but out of fear of losing their freedom, their investments, and their financial privileges.

There’s every likelihood that many of these figures are government assets, directly or indirectly controlled by the powers that be.

The government has their receipts, literally.

Any influencer who dares to raise their voice soon gets their tapes played for them on a big screen, and just like that, they lose their voice.

The government knows everything, every “lion” donated to them on TikTok Live, every unclean kobo that entered their NGO accounts, every suspicious “ad payment,” and even every crypto transaction linked to those funds, even down to the moment left their accounts and hit crypto wallets.

So depending on such individuals to tell you the truth about the state of the nation is a risky gamble.

Take Sowore, for example. The same man preaching that America is evil holds an American passport.

His wife and children are Americans. His media company is headquartered in America.

Yet he’s out here “fighting” America’s supposed 3vil agenda.

They tell you that America is coming for your oil and natural resources, but even as you’re reading this, strange vessels are docked in our waters, stealing millions of barrels of crude oil.

And this isn’t new, it’s been happening your entire lifetime.

As Peter Obi rightly said, oil theft isn’t pickpocketing; it requires sophisticated technology, manpower, massive funding, and serious security compromise.

For years, illegal gold mining has gone unchecked in Zamfara and other northern states, deep inside territories controlled by Islamic extremists where the military dares not step foot.

Yet, the same cabals want you to believe Trump is coming to “steal your oil.”

They say it’s your oil, but how much of that oil wealth have you ever benefited from?

Even the indigenes of oil-producing states don’t have access to basic necessities, roads, hospitals, even clean drinking water. The so-called “ex-militants” bragging about oil money control less than 5% of the oil wealth.

Over 90% of Niger Delta oil wells belong to the northern elite, while Zamfara’s gold belongs to the same cabal.

So again, what have we done with the oil money?

Have you been to Saudi Arabia lately?

Nigeria’s life expectancy is among the lowest in the world, about 54.5 years for women and 51 for men.

Meaning if you’re 40, there’s a chance you may not make it to 50.

Some of you walking around today and talking Cho Cho Cho are already living with dead kidneys without knowing it, because of failed Nigerian healthcare system that diagnose everything as malaria and typhoid.

The hard truth is this: Nigeria’s current playbook, since 1960 has been dysfunctional.

It will not yield meaningful results, not even in the next 200 years.

Nigeria is overdue for a reset, a total system overhaul that will send the cabals packing and force genuine renegotiation of our national existence.

Until that happens, nothing changes.

Forget the noise, big grammar ans Cho Cho Cho!
Ask any of those loud talkers to show you practical solutions for Nigeria’s problems, and watch them stutter.

Every great nation today has had its reset moment.

Hiroshima was one of the deadliest tragedies in human history, yet Japan rose to become the world’s third-largest economy.

Rwanda, right before our eyes, became Africa’s tech capital.

China, Germany, France, even the United Kingdom, rose after moments of chaos and devastation.

Nations don’t rise by cho Cho Cho, only by action.

So if America’s intervention will press that reset button, so be it.

PoliticsStatement from the Late Bilyaminu Ahmed Bello's Family by RisenObinna(op):
When Prerogative of Mercy Inflicts Inexorable Pain:

Statement from the Late Bilyaminu Ahmed Bello's Family

I n exercise of his discretionary power and authority to grant clemency under the Prerogative of Mercy principle, His Excellency, Mr. President recently granted Presidential pardons to a total of 175 convicted persons serving jail sentences for various criminal offences. Some of those on the list included individuals on death row, and others who were pardoned posthumously.

One name that stood out for us as a family is that of Maryam Sanda, a lady convicted and sentenced to death by the FCT Hight Court on Monday, 27 January 2020, for the premeditated cold-blooded murder of her husband and beloved family member of ours, the late Bilyaminu Ahmed Bello.

Considering the delicately sensitive nature of the situation involving two innocent children of the deceased victim, the family has deliberately refrained from making any public statement or comments since the unfortunate sad incident, which occurred on that fateful night of Sunday, 19 November 2017. This was despite several sponsored write-ups from the accused perpetrator's camp containing series of falsehoods against the deceased, without factoring the children's best interest. We, instead, placed our trust and abiding confidence in the nation's judicial process to run its full course and deliver justice for the deceased victim and his family.

The appeals process reaffirmed the FCT High Court's death sentence through the Federal Court of Appeal and Supreme Court judgements of Friday, 4 December 2020, and Friday, 27 October 2023, respectively. Satisfied that justice had finally been served, the judgment provided some closure of sorts in the circumstance, if ever there could be one. Although the perpetrator had shown no remorse even for a fleeting moment throughout the saga, the grieving family took solace in the judgements and moved on, having painfully come to terms with the fate that life had thrust upon one of our own.

This latest turn of events, coming just a few years after the dastardly crime that cruelly cut short Bilyaminu's life has, however, expectedly reopened our healing wounds.

To have Maryam Sanda walk the face of the earth again, free from any blemish for her heinous crime as if she had merely squashed an ant, is the worst possible injustice any family could be made to go through for a loved one.

We are, therefore, compelled to issue this formal statement to humanise Bilyaminu, who is now suddenly being made to appear as if he is just another faceless anonymous individual in the long line of victims of crimes in the country: a mere statistical figure.

The alleged grounds for Maryam Sanda's release were predicated on appeals from her family, amongst other considerations. It is pertinent to stress that Bilyaminu was also our cherished family member who was profoundly loved and deeply mourned by his teeming relations, friends and close associates following the unfortunate incident that resulted in his gruesome murder eight years ago. Maryam, let's not forget, had earlier on denied the same children now used to elicit sympathy and secure her release, the opportunity to know what a father's love and care means.

Bilyaminu's family is deeply hurt by this latest development, which we interpret as primarily driven by the sole motivation for appeasing Maryam's family members by way of extending mercy to a certified convicted murderer, while at the same time overlooking or conveniently ignoring the corresponding inexorable pain that has now been inflicted on the victim's teeming grieving family members, friends and associates arising from the action.

We take solace in the simple fact that in such matters, the ultimate comprehensive justice resides purely with the Supreme Judge and our Creator, who will dispense this matter on the Day of Recompense where no one can be at liberty to intercede on behalf of anyone else.

We beseech Almighty Allah SWT to grant the soul of our dear Bilyaminu eternal rest and grant us the fortitude to continue to bear his sad loss even in the light of this latest development. May Allah also Be there at every turn of his children's needs and raise them to be good obedient Muslims and patriotic Nigerians, Ameen.
