Accra/ kotoka International Airport has a similar issue but government has secured a vast land at Prampram in the Greater Accra Region where we will build a modern and biggest Airport in West Africa... The Airport city is seeing some development already.

There's another proposed international world class airport in Lekki.
We all know about the land scarcity in Lagos, so i don't think the government will have another suitable location to build another MMIA airport, they rather demolish this, and build another better one, i understand your point, but that's the government decisions, i believe they have their choice.
