I can’t over total rule out the story, but as a detective, all this key point to validate the story are missing, if those who attest are real witness they will give exact account like name of hotel etc but with their comments it show they all hard the story as a rumor, I read all their comment know one seem to give exact account one said a hotel some said in my area and the only location we could get is Alagbole Akute that’s a province as large as Ikeja, no doubt incidences might occur similar but might be blown out of proportion, 50 people will not die and no blog or media house will carry the news only Twitter to be its a fake news or misleading one

Exactly Sir. I also dispelled it. However, you must consider that the reportage is unprofessional and a sensational bystander didn't see the need to go beyond I heard this happened and wanted to gain credit by publishing the story which in itself doesn't negate the possibility of such happening


Since we have so many persons on this thread who says they knew people on first hand basis that died in the aftermath of the whole brouhaha, then we should lend partial credit to the event and not totally throw it away. Wouldn't you agree Sir?

I don’t know how we reason as a people this days our logical reasoning is lost to rumors and sentiments, tribalism and hate, how come 50 people will die and no media will carry this news, the only place you can read this lies is on Nairaland and Twitter, and we all know Twitter to be notorious for fake news from people who are seeking attention and followership, I can even see some people on Nairaland already playing detective and insulting the president and Nigeria as a whole, I think people should use their logic reasoning more

That's my thoughts too. But then from what we see here there are members of the forum attesting to knowing people who died. More than 3 have said this and let's not forget they didn't die at the venue. They went home and died one by one in their abodes

I believe " free will " in regards to angels and humans doesn't Hinge on beings but rather on the character of the creator. This implies, God by character, doesn't do without giving free will.

So there's two things with God. Two, becomes one when looked into carefully


1. He gives free will because it is inherent in Him as His Character which is reflected through His Governmenance, principles and precepts
