Well, Canada is a bilingual country. A lot of jobs require bilingual competencies or outright say "Knowledge of French is an advantage".

For people looking for additional points, a whopping 74 points are up for grabs. Some PNPs like OINP, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia actively seek French speaking candidates.

Alliance Francais, IEF, online vendors, Self study are some options. Begin your French journey today.
Thanks a lot for the reply.

vocational skills in building , vocational skills in fashion
these are the two main areas i can definitely and confidently tell you that if you are good in it , you will make it ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD , ANY COUNTRY .
i know of a lady that had 2,1 in Agric economics from unaab , she went to Canada hoping to get a job and settle down only for her to be told that she has to go back to school and do more studies before they can even reckon with her first degree , she is now one of the biggest building contractors now in Canada.
she dumped her certificate , went in and learnt AutoCAD and other building drawing programs , then went in for carpentry studies in Canada , and that was it . her success even attracted bisi olatilo to do a full documentary on her then , her name is bukola but i don't know her full surname .
i know of an oau graduate that went to Mali then and became a bastard millionaire all because he was very good in barbing , abroad is a leveler and when you get there , the first question the white man will ask isnt about the certificate you have BUT what you can do . Reason why i said from the onset , that it is not about whether the place you are going is good or not , as long as there is no war , today global economy is what about what you ca n offer and how productive you can be.
i also know a small Nigerian boy that i met in Ghana then , all he learnt in Nigeria was curtains designs and how to sew curtain and install then , you wont believe that is what got him a big job in Ghana and made him move above many that came in with degrees then , ordinary fixing of curtains and knowing how to match them.
if you want to make money , settle down fast, and quickly make sometime out of time , then use the time you have in Nigeria now to learn a vocational skill as you prepare yourself for your eventual migration to anywhere in the world
Thanks. I appreciate your candid your response.

We move!
TravelRe: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by robify01: 12:30am On Nov 15, 2020
Greetings everyone,
Please I have this situation to present to you and would love a candid advice.

I am married, no kids yet but seeking travel with my wife to the U.S via STUDY or INVITATION from a friend living and working in the U.S.

He's going to invite me and wife to come over. Then when we arrive I can apply for some courses and stay back.

My question: Is it possible for me and wife to be invited and stay back in the US legally, without cutting corners?(remember we've only been invited).
Do you know of anyone that has travelled through this means?

I just want to be sure if this option canwork
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by robify01: 7:33am On Nov 12, 2020
Greetings house! Please I need your advice.

Had BSc. Agric Engineering (second class lower) in 2005
Been self employed since graduation
Now 40years, married with wife(no kids yet)
Desire now to relocate to Canada through study route since that will be faster
Currently living in my own personal house.

What post grad program do you suggest? Or will just Diploma make sense?

I desire IT though but will there be a possibility of being granted visa with a change to IT?

With my age, any hope for Visa? Possibility for my wife to join me?

Abeg my people, your input highly needed. Thanks.

A friend told me that there's high rate of unemployment in SA. Will SA be a good choice for study and work especially in the IT field?

Is there work permit & PR?

Can I go with my wife when going for study as long as there's fund?

Which schools are good and safe for IT?

I will like to chip in some advice to those intending to migrate . Please one of the most fatal or costly. Mistakes in planning immigration is to believe that some places are easier than others . New environment can only be easier if you are well prepared , I inisits that no where is perfect and there is poverty everywhere. Don't look for popular places where ppl are going rather chart your own course .
I have travelled a bit not so much though and I have seen how Nigerians suffer and most painful often waste time outside because they were not prepared.
Firstly, if you don't have high funds, know noone who is financially bouyant enough to shoulder you in the country you are going and you have no vocational skills ,EXCEPT GOD INTERVENES,,THAT PERSON MAY LIKELY SPEND 10YEARS BEFORE FINDING HIS OR HER FEET.
If you want to migrate , get serious funds , it will really help to cushion a lot of things and get you settled quickly. You won't waste time .

Can you believe it that Nigerians (ibis) are becoming serious serious multi millionaires in Mozambique that they won't even look at you if you ask them to go to Canada or USA?
As I speak many Ibo traders have become millionaires in Malawi without even entering Europe ?
I can attest to the Gabon case because I saw them with my own 2 eyes how Ibo populated one of the biggest markets in Gabon and are making it big.
So please stop looking for easy places , chart your own course, don't follow follow people, get prepared financially and skills wise then lastly DONT WASTE TIME ,JUST DO IT
What sort of skills can be valuable for one intending to migrate to Canada?
