Because I can confidently tell you the recruitment process is not easy in Nigeria unlike the US where they beg you with juicy offers to join the US military ..

Captain kelechi might have no reason to renounce his citizenship because he never expected anything from nigeria... who knows if he had a great job and good life in nigeria before he moved overseas...? Have you seen refuse collectors or security asking anything for the boys. In Nigeria person clearing gutter they will pay him 2k after 8 hours work. Road cleaners will work everyday for 15k a month, lawma boys will be looking like horror movie and still asking anything for the boys. Let's not talk of security, cleaners, private school teachers.
