Apart from the fact that it costs N5k on MTN and N4800 on Glo is there any other useful info one needs to know? Such as are there download limits and stuff like that?

however, distance travelled by a car to rate stuff as performance et al, in my view has lots of dependencies, a high mileage car thats used carfully expecially highway miles are better than those stop and go cars kind of driving,

no your OD is in perfect condition; its supposed to be On by default. and by the way, OD gives ur engine a sorta speed boost; kinda like an extra gear if you will. . . so no wahala there.

As per the fuel consumption, I really can't say much. I use a 1998 pathfinder which is also the same engine found in your Xterra (3.3L V6) and though the fuel consumption is not lean and mean, I wouldn't exactly say its outrageous; I don't mind sacrificing a li'l consumption for more powe. . . if you get my meaning.

I will advise you get a qualified mechanic to look at it and check ur fuel filter perhaps. also like Mr Kelly jokingly suggested, keep an eye on the consumption; does it differ a lot from what the manual says? (I expect it to be higher but not by so much. . .)
