I have gone silent on a TTC thread when I felt all my friends there were pressuring me (unintentionally though) to post my bfp and the bfp wasn't happening.Den sum1 actually said sumtin lik 'not to put a fine point on it but when are you gonna get your bfp,I just get the feeling that u are not working hard enuf on it and almost everyone here is doing something, blahblahblah, are you sure you are doing anytin besides praying? I mean its good to pray but you need to also start lookin for alternatives to natural conception, etc". All cos I said I wanted to trust God for it. She was rebuked but I couldn't stay on cos it was like my colleagues all over again with their 'what are you waiting for?s', hope u are giving us twins soon, dis one ur sneezing,hope ur now pregnant, u have cough? Are u sure ur not pregnant, hope ur hubby and u used the strike break to make babies o, uv put on so much weight,abi na belle, why are u wasting tym inshort I need to talk to ur husband, 'ARRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!Lol!

Got some Preseed today! Other than using it as a ttc tool, we love using it as a lubricant. Den I just ignore the applicator and use my fingertips to insert a little (TMI?). This is cos sometyms it gets too messy in there,

@champ. We both treated for the bv last year. Am yet to confirm whether am actually ovulating. I went for the test last week.
I haven't done hsg yet. After the result of my hormone test comes in, I may go for that. Am just scared! FX'd and wishing for a miracle! I wish the same for all other ladies in God's waiting room!

By the way, is it true that there are women who can massage a retroverted uterus and bring it back into its normal position? I wanna try that pls does anyone know where I can find one in Lagos?

I prayed for many as I read,I claimed many blessings,I learnt a lot bout the right things to do,I got hopeful and now my faith has been strengthened!

I hav been ttc for a year and seven months. Scan showed an acutely retroverted uterus, have treated BV wit DH,used preseed b4, temped,used opks,etc. I recently had a blood test for hormone analysis and am waiting for the result.

I practised rhythm+withdrawal method and used the occassional Morning After BC pills for 4yrs cos I was scared of being pregnant for my boyfriend(now dh)! Now I wish I didn't, I'd give anytin to turn back the hands of the clock. I have prayed for forgiveness but each tym am depressed,I beat myself up about it!
This tread gives me so much hope that God can still do it for me, it'll be a shame to see it die!

When I first started reading, I cried,went awwwwwww,squealed with joy at bfp announcements,frowned at solicitors, gave nods of approval when they were chastised,glad to get men's perspective from GenBuhari,abiop, et al, rolled on the floor laffing at some posts esp Arlingtons crazy humor(b4 the stress of motherhood and work got to her ofcourse),etc

I hav been on other ttc boards/websites but dis is Nigerian and I feel a kinship, plus I felt like I knew y'all. I agree that it became clinical and detached when the 'dr' came on board. (The only good that came of that was that mypeace came in briefly, I admire her strength).
