I am on clomid and bromocriptine this cycle. I hav also got an increased taste for yam cos I need twins badly and according to udoka,yam leads to multiple pregnancy

I hope it doesn't make me fat though.

Since its so hard to stay on dis diet of a thing, I go dey do am small small.As for the exercise thingy.....emmm emmm make I no lie, I am barely managing to do baby dance exercise sef talk less of jogging! If a whole bd dey tire me, which body I wan take do normal exercise?

Anyway firstly, no more sugar till after O. Thereafter I will limit it to once a week.Also I'll..............Sorry folks but that's all for now!

I saw it when I was passing a pharmacy in Magodo. I don't know the name of the pharmacy but it was close to a major supermarket called SPENDLESS. I will ask my friend that I went to visit if she knows the name.

I have been running series of tests with the new gynae....
My results so far:
HSG-Tubes are patent, uterine cavity normal
DAY 3 TEST-
FSH:2.9 < 12
S-LH:4.9 < 12
PROLACTIN:29.7 < 3.33-26

Today is CD1
Dr prescribed bromocriptine (sp?) for the high prolactin
Also placed me on clomid for this cycle.

Recall that my day 21 test indicated that I may not be ovulating? Well I guess this is a confirmation.

I am crossing everything that the side effects are not too bad! I am not strong enuf to handle more pain but my God is stronger than any problem I have! I have faith that I will carry my baby by this time next year IJN....Amen!

May the good Lord open ur womb and cause u to rejoice, even before ur tears are dry!

I frequently pray for all the ladies in this thread, begging God for an outpouring of testimonies so dat there will be a mass posting of Bfps and I wish I had logged on yesterday.So sorry I missed the group prayer session though. Pls can u give like a 3days notice next tym?

I believe my wait is close to the end! Just like HebrewWoman, I am declaring that I will be preggy withing the next 3 cycles!
In a way I do not know, the Lord will do it!
I am no longer afraid!I am not weak but am strong cos with the faith as tiny as a mustard seed, I can move this mountain of Childlessness!All I need is for God's grace to be sufficient for me and faith in Him to make me whole!

Hi all...welcome back o! I think its great that we are restarting this thread. I used to watch what I eat but I noticed these days that I have kinda relented..For instance this morning I had a slice of bread and blueband (ashamedofmyself) cos I was a bit dizzy after taking antibiotics for a UTI (Yep!More issues!As if I don't have enuf on my plate)
Anyway I didn't really feel guilty cos I reckoned that its more important to eat well and clear a UTI dan to watch my weight.....until I logged on to this thread . So as a show of goodfaith, I am making wheat flour instead of Eba for lunch.

@MSTIA..that's actually the fluid dripping out.
The entrance of the cervix is quite small and its not guaranteed that all the spe.rmies can swim thru and up it.

Some fluid usually drips out and that may be what u are seeing. Though sometyms a Fibroid may be occupying the space where the sp.erm is supposed to stay in the VJJ,making it to leak out BUT this is not your portion dear!

If however u feel that too much is coming out, u may stay in bed for sometime after BDing.

E no get wetin I no tell myself on dat table!

Upon all the Cataflam wey I take, when doctor start I had to beg myself not to tense up from the pain so that it won't cause my uterus to contract too much and give a false result!

'U beta cool down and not flinch o!Do u want the result to show blocked tubes? What will dh think, if the result says blocked tubes?'..... This worked for about one minute den the pain made me change tactics....'What will ur inlaws say if all your tubes appear totally blocked??'....Naim the pain disappear until d doctor finish (Even the pain no need inlaw wahala!)Lol!

Anyway the result says its normal!YAY!!!!! Am still running other blood work and will let you know how it goes!

I know what she means bout the dr complaining that she knows too much.

I have been asked if I studied medicine by drs. The last few tyms I went to a 'fertility specialist', I just kept quiet while they were fooling themselves.

Cos I wanted to have bloodwork done on CD3, they said no,that I shld wait till day 12I didn't answer, I went to the lab on day3 and day21 to do the tests!

They usually rely on what they learnt in school! Not knowing that as world dey spoil, na so illness dey bring new style! Sometimes na symptoms dem dey treat. Instead of them to seek second opinion where they are not sure, they will be forming even when they don't understand the symptoms.

To give dem credit though, some of us tell dem things we are not sure of and frustrate their attempts to treat us.

As soon as I get my bfp, I'll tell the dr to take it as a high risk pregnancy! Cos am not young enough for trial and error!


@all mothers to be, please pray frequently as its only God that can give us our hearts desires.

@all. We have been on a prayer fest. This tym ttc is fully on hold cos I and dh are not bding. Rather we are using this period to deepen our relationship with God cos that is more important. We will resume next month. Am on CD5.
Coincidentally, it was late by 2 days and came on the same day as my AF in July 2010. Then I hadn't started the ttc journey and dis is the first tym its meeting an old AF date.
I don't care if it doesn't mean anything, all I believe is that my ttc journey is coming to an end soon!

I have a friend who told me that her problem is male factor, she said she considered cheating several tyms cos she is getting to her late 30s but hasn't had the opportunity to!

I prayed with her and begged her not to do it but she said she will ask God for forgiveness afterwards. She has distanced herself from me, I don't know if she made good on her threat!
I will find a way to get to her and discuss the donor option.I pray she doesn't sell her soul to the devil.
Thank you for your post. You may not know it but many marriages may be saved from that revelation! I would do it if it were my issue but the only difference is that dh must collect samples(by hook or crook) from more than one of his relatives and none of us will know which one was chosen! That way if he says 'woman come and carry this your child jor' or beats the child too much, I won't feel anyhow and if I say 'abegi don't kill my child o!'as women usually say, he won't feel anyhow.Lol! I guess dats me being insecure ryt?
Anyway I have taken tym to write plenty to make up for the period of absence.
Praying is awesome and our faith is getting stronger. But btw me and y'all, d day e complete one month, the bed shall beg for mercy!

Congrats Adetunrayo. Why don't you tell us what you did. I assume you were a silent member (correct me if am wrong) and God gave you a testimony. But it will really help others if u not only post the bfp but also tell the story behind it since u were not posting b4. That way we can praise God, strengthen our faiths, know what to do if it applies,rejoice more with you, pray with you, etc!
But coming on for the first time just to post the bfp and then disappearing again doesn't seem right to me! I stand to be corrected by y'all though!

Yes I support! I am so careful what I eat dese days. I eat lots of fruits and vegetable. Today during a meeting, I asked meself how come I can't lose as much weight as I want! I know its just laziness! So am fyting it! I know am not much for execise, so I have focused on eating the ryt foods!

I will get to my desired weight! Giving up is not an option! We gave ourselves a target to look trimmer b4 our next vacation later this year. So am working towards that as a motivation!

When ur beanie sticks and you have ur baby, then KNOW without a doubt that He has indeed blessed you!

No one is God and we cannot know what will take a person to heaven or not! Even the most righteous sometimes commit the sin of anger and wrath! But God is merciful unto all and forgives us our trespasses!He has different plans for different people and if one person uses his faith to measure another person's righteousness,that's being presumptuous. So our prayer is that God should save us from Presumptuous Sins(Read Psalm 19:12-14/Deut. 18:19-22)

thanks, thats reassuring.. but am thinking the weight loss caused the whole wahala. Couldnt imagine how l lost 2.4kg in one week when it took me almost 2months with HARD LABOUR to loose 3.5kg!

Please dont fret hon, maybe the new increase is a good sign? besides you know that loss of appetite usually accompanies the bfp in the earlt stages. It could be why you lost the weight, not the other way round as you think!
