Whytecloen is a body that helps in recruiting able bodied individuals for first bank, they replaced in sourcing limited, who were the first principal agent. The opening is for contract staff, for HND holders the starting salary should be 84,000, why for ND holders, it should be 68k to 71k thereabout. But the job is basically on a contract basis. |

I as a person don't really believe in new year resolution, I just see everyday as a new day to do something positive with my life and those around me. New year to is just a closing of one calendar year and starting a new one, so let's just continue to make everyday a better way. |
I must say kudos to Mr gbenga, I knew about this great man on this thread on nairaland, and I must say say he is a man of his words, after contacting him on WhatsApp about my proposition on registering my company, he took time to take me through all the steps and exactly 7 business days after contacting him , he called me to notify me on the birth of skyrocton global company limited. Intact we need more of trustworthy men in this country to make this place a better country in the comity of nations. Thanks again Mr Gbenga. |

First bank is not liable for the fraud perpetrated in your account, cos I believe you compromised your pin or your pan number or cvv2 number unknown to a third party, which makes the bank unliable, cos during the time you filled the form when applying for the card, you had carefully gone through the terms and conditions of the card before appending your signature , you would have noticed a portion of the form where you indemnify the bank against any loss due to neglignece on compromise of your card details. Am sorry for your loss, but there is still room for more investigation if you can follow up by still calling firstcontact, or on the bank facebook and twitter handle, I bet you there will be a quick response cos no bank needs litigation or goodwill. |

Happy New year Ƭo all nairalander....THIS IS IT |
I strongly believe from all indications that the current Md/Ceo of First Bank Of Nigeria PLC,Mr. Bisi Onasanya is going to take over the position of the cbn governor come may 2014. |
codebrew85: I don't know if anyone had observed it, there seems to be no change in the market. Whenever you tender a 500 or 1000 naira bill to a seller, the next thing you would hear is, 'oga no change o'. You'll later end up not buying the stuffs you intended buying because, there's no change. As funny as this may sound, it's very frustrating and annoying. Could this be a general thing or just peculiar to lagos alone? Or could it be that CBN is hoarding the lesser bills? The thing is that Cbn is phasing out polymer note in the first 6 months of next year, Ƭo give way for the introduction of paper notes to replace the polymer, so when this kind of thing is in place, Cbn starts retrieving the polymer notes which is in circulation to give way for the introduction of the new notes. [quote author=bigfrancis021]At this point, you have two options: 1) Either you contact your school and confirm if you can resume school 1/2 weeks late, and then call the embassy asking for an expedited interview date or 2) You defer your admission from summer to fall. Deferring your admission to Fall 2013 would be more preferable than Spring 2014. Yes you can. Just contact your school immediately and tell them. At least you'd have more time to prepare and organize yourself before you travel. @Bolded: that's a good school you got there.[/quourote] Am very greatful for your advice, I will try and call d embassy if I can get a speedy interview before next week, or I defer the admission to fall to enable me prepare properly. Am very greatful for your speedy response. |
I got admitted into summer 2013 at texas a/m univ, but my i20 came in very late, and school resumed this week. I don't know know if I can defer my admission to fall , which is August this year |
Am a lil bit disappointed, I got my i20 a lil bit late, and school just resumed this week, I have been trying to secure a date at the embassy but d date I got is for June 26, and if I hold on to this date, I might be refused visa at the embasssy, due to the time aspect in which the school resumed. So I don't know if it is gonna be wise for me to defer the admission to fall session, since the rate of getting the visa at dis point is very slim. I need advice urgently from the house. |
bigfrancis21: Or better still, if you feel that the low amount in the account issue was the cause of your denial, this is the best thing to do - tell your dad to approach his bank officer to tell him to defix the fixed deposit money into his current/savings account so that a fresh account statement will printed immediately reflecting 1m +7m = 8m. After the new account statement has been printed, the account officer will quickly fix back the money back into the fixed deposit. This won't take more than 20 minutes to be done and bank officers usually do it for their customers (those that own fixed deposits). I want to believe the fixed deposit is lodged in the same bank where he has his current/savings account to make it easier for the transfer, printing and re-transfer to be done.I don't feel that is going to be the best option, something like dis happened to a friend of mine when he was denied this year at the lagos consulate, your dad transferring an amount like 7m to his savings/current from his fixed dep may raise a red flag by the vo ,due to the lump sum that just got t/f to ur account all of a sudden, when d initial balance was reading 1m. Cos wen t/f money from fix dep to an account, it doesn't show in the statement particulars the full details of the transaction |
bigfrancis21: What exactly do you think will affect your interview? Is it that your school resumption date is nearby and you fear that entering the US after the school's resumption date will affect you at the POE? Well, the main issue is knowing if your school will accept you if you're 1/2 weeks late. Some US schools tolerate late resumption and some don't. Its left to you to find out from your school and be sure that you'll still be able to resume school if you get there 1/2 weeks late. The POE is not much of a problem.thanks a lot for the advice, I appreciate a lot, I will do as u said. |
