Episode 10
"I have this patient, he has sickle cell anemia." Olumide told Ivy.

"Oh" she shook her head in a pitiful way.

"He needs friends, he feels bored staying alone. He is suffering from crises." he explained.

"I want you and Olamide to be his close friends, inform Olamide about this. I can trust you with this right." he asked her

"Yes, I will try my best." she assured him.

"So, how would I get his contact, or any plans??" she asked

"Oh about that, I got it covered, inform Olamide about it before we know the next step to take." he informed her.
.
.
.
.
"Hi baby, mum want to know the angel that captured my mind" Teju sent a message to Olamide.

He has been trying her number but she is not picking up.

Few minutes later, he received a message from her.

"Missed your call, was busy when you called. Hectic day. Saw your message.
Would you pick me up this evening........ can't wait to see you..... Missing you already xoxo."

He smiled, when he received her message, he was happy she missed him.
"Am just silly" he thought.....
.
.

.
"You look breath taken" Teju complimented Olamide.

"Oga abeg ma fi breadi ko mi lo be lo." she replied

"So you can't say thank you bah, someone can not compliment his girlfriend abi. Oya give me back the compliment." he said jokingly.

"Oga Teju come and collect your compliment o." she chuckled.

"I hope Mum is gonna like me" she asked him.

"Sure, she will." he assured her.
.
.
.
.
As they drove to his compound, Olamide noticed the compound was a very spacious one .
The gates protecting the house were made of rod iron. Different cars were parked.

She noticed a beautiful garden at the last end of the compound.
The mansion was a huge building to behold.

"Wow!" she exclaimed.

"You like what you see right? Come with me" he took her in.

When she stepped in, she noticed the walls was painted with white.
Pictures and framed posters well hung perfectly on the wall
To her left was a flat screen Tv displaying a traditional movie.

To her far right was different Awards placed on the shelf.

"Good evening ma." she knelt down to greet Mrs Martins.

"Good evening my daughter, have your seat." Mrs Adewale responded.

She sat on the comfy brown leather seater.

"I see why my son is attracted to you. You are beautiful." Mrs Adewale told her.

"Thanks ma." She blushed.

They got all chatty, Mrs Adewale was really enjoying Olamide's company. They talked about different things. She noticed they had a lot in common.

"Olamide if we keep discussing, I think the food is gonna get cold." she stood up and headed to the dining room.

The dining room was exquisite. There was a tablecloth spread neatly on the table. Down the center of the table was a vase of flower.

At each place stood a tall empty wine glass and there were beautiful folded napkins. There were dishes and cutlery placed on the Table.

"Serve yourself." Mrs Adewale said as they took their seat.

"Oh thanks ma." Olamide responded.

"I hope you are enjoying your meal?" she asked Olamide

"Yes ma." she replied

"I cooked this food myself, I....

"Mum, allow Olamide enjoy her meal, don't let her choke." Teju cut his mum short...

"But Teju am not complaining nah." Olamide told Teju.

"Well, am complaining". He stood up from his seat.

"Come, I wanna show you something" he told Olamide.

"But am still eating". She complained.

"No but, let us go." he told her.

"Okay Sir." she said in a robotic way....

He showed her around the house, he introduced her to all the servants that was around at that period of time.

"This is my room, ladies first." he stretched his hand forward.

She noticed his room was large with clean white wall. A king size bed was at the corner of the room, an apple laptop was placed on the bed. She also noticed a nightstand and shelf filled with books beside his bed.

Opposite his bed was A plasma Tv, a stereotype system and a computer.

"This room smells of Teju Adewale" she said.

"Hahahaha na u sabi o" he sat on his king size bed.

He asked her to sit beside him on his king size bed and she accepted his offer.

"So have you discovered your talent yet." he arched his eyebrow at he said this.

"Oh yes, I have discovered my talent." she told him excitedly.

"Hmmmm, so tell me."

"Well, yesterday when I went to my aunt's place, the rate at which I was killing mosquitoes with just a clap ehn. My aunt was really surprise. She never knew I was gifted o." she explained.

"Like seriously?" he chuckled.

"Not funny nah. I won't tell you anything again seff." she frowned.

"Am sorry nah." he pleaded.

"You said you miss me right? You missed my lips right? Or my handsome face or my hmmmmm." he teased her.

"I miss nothing about you jorh". She told him.

"Really." he said as he moved closer to her.

He lifted her chin with his fingers and made eyes contact with her.
She looked away.

"I know you can't deny the fact that you miss me." he pulled her closer to himself.

"I jus..." she was about to respond when he took her lips to his...

The taste of his lips was awesome, she returned his kiss and clung her hands round his neck. She felt her breast pressed against his hardened chest. She kissed him passionately.

He caressed her body with his hands, he searched for the zip of her short lengthy gown. She helped him remove the gown she was putting on. She was clad with her undies. He wasted no time, he unhooked her bra, releasing her full round boobs.

He kissed her cleavage down to her boobs, he sucked her nipples while she moaned in ecstasy.

He used his finger to trace her stomach down to her lower part, then she stopped him.

"I don't think am ready for this." she was not sure of herself.

"But baby." he kissed her neck.

"Please respect me." she shoved his hand away.

"Okay fine, goodnight". He went straight to the bathroom.

That awkward moment when jollof rice is placed before you, but you can't have a taste lol.

Episode 9
Months later.......

"So when are you introducing her to me" Mrs Adewale asked Teju.

"Mum, she just said Yes last week. Don't you think I would be rushing things if I asked her to come over." he looked surprised.

"Haba, Teju why you like this nah, behaving like a Saint. Use your tricks nah." his mum winked at him.

"Hahahaha, mum you're so funny. I miss the real you." he made a smiley face.

"So you mean this is the fake me bah?" she feigned annoyance.

"Not that mum, you just too uptight recently." he replied.

"Don't change the topic, what if you invite her over." she raised her eyebrow.

"Uhm, I would inform her. But you were not in support of this relationship from the start. Why are you supporting me now? He asked

"Your dad is complicating issues." she told him

"How mum?" he became more serious.

"He is planning a date for you. You remember Mr. Williams right? His daughter, Cynthia is back from the state. I overheard his conversation." she explained

"But mum why, why is dad making life miserable for me?" he asked.

"That is why am telling you to bring her home soon. If he get to meet her, am sure he would respect your decision." she told him

She made a heavy sign.

"Teju, I know why your dad is doing all this." she looked at his face, if he felt any indifference before she continue....
.
.
.
"Hahahaa, st....op....it... hahahaa olumi please hahaha" Ivy was laughing

"Why do you want me to stop when you enjoying it ehn" he kept on tickling her.

"Am serious nah, shey you want me to die of laughter ni ehn?" she asked him.

"It is better you die in my arms o." he told her.

"Leave me jorh, wicked boo." she sounded like a baby.

"And why would I do that?" he started kissing her neck region."

"Uhmm, you know that is my weak point huh" she moaned.

"Okay, am gonna stop, don't want someone to be in the mood o." he teased her.

"Haba, what are you insinuating" she pouted.

"Never mind, as if you don't know". He told her.

"See this boy o. Chio. Am not telepathic nah. Ihe na-eme g! (what is wrong with you) she spoke her language.

"Hahaha see how you sounding like an international cockroach." he kept on laughing.

"Don't talk to me again o" she feigned annoyance.

"Oya am sorry nah." he pleaded.

"Apology accepted." she sounded happy.

"So how is work?" she asked.

"Fine fine" he replied.

"Ehn ehn, that reminds me, I don't know if you can help me." he told her

"Am listening, continue" she gave him the go ahead.
.
.
.
"Teju I saved your dad, he was wrongly accused of a crime he knows nothing about.
The angry mob almost burnt him alive. He was really dealt with.
They accused him of stealing, whereas he was mistakenly taken for the wrong person.

I was his savior that day, I saw everything that happened. Since I rescued him, I took his responsibility.

I took him home, clothe him, fed him, I gave him everything that he ever needed at that moment. I knew I took a risk, taking care of someone I know nothing about, but I felt something for him. Strange feelings I couldn't explain." she took a deep breath.

He later told me he was in a quest to get rich because of the one he loved. I felt betrayed. Like he used me.

I started giving him this strange attitude, he wanted to know why I changed towards him.
Flashback

"Ronke, I don't understand you anymore" Adewale told her

"Why would you understand me ehn?, why are you just telling me you have a lover? Why did you make me to like you? she sobbed.

"How many questions at a time? Women they are so unpredictable". He thought.

"Am so sorry, I never knew, you would get to like me, what do you want me to do now?" he asked her

"Marry me" she told him

"Are you serious?" He stared at her, like she was crazy.

"Yes, marry me and you would inherit all my properties. You have nothing to lose. Who knows if your said lover is already married seff." she hissed after she told him.

"But but...bu...tt.." he stuttered.

"You have two options, it is either you marry me or you leave my house right now." she shouted at him.

"Okay fine, I will marry you. But put yourself in my shoes, how would you feel if you were forced to marry someone you don't love" his voice shook.

"We don't wear the same shoe size" she replied him.

"Am not forcing you, you choose what you felt was right" she had a smirk on her face.

"Fine, a beggar has no choice, but mark my words...You would reap what you sow....." he made a stern look.

After explaining all this to her son, she used her hands to cover her face.

"Teju I think he want me to feel what he felt then." she looked remorseful

"Am sorry" she was almost in tears.

"Mum is okay" he embraced his mum like his life depended on it.

Episode 8
"Where are we going to" Olamide asked

"That's a secret" A smile lurked around his lips as he controlled the wheel.

"I thought we're heading to the restaurant " she asked.

"I changed my mind" he focused on the road.

Few minutes later, he parked his car in a safe place.

"Here we are" he told her.

She surveyed the environment.

She noticed he brought her to a very cool and natural arena.

"Wow, so beautiful." she was amazed.

"I know you would love it." he was flattered.

He allowed her to admire the turf.

"Lets sit here" he told her

"You got it all planned bah, well am not surprise you're Teju Adewale." she winked.

She sat down on a lawn seat.

"So" he took a seat beside her.

"So what do you think about my mum"? Olamide asked Teju

"I think she is cool, but why the sudden mood swing"? He asked with a puzzled look.

"Maybe she was surprise you are the Son of Adewale, CEO of Walls group of company.

By the way, why didn't you inform me earlier." she asked him feigning annoyance.

"Am so sorry about that, I really have a lot to discuss with you". He told her.

"Teju am sorry I put you through a lots of trouble with the last incident." she apologized with a pitiful face.

"I want to know why he treated you that way" he looked at her damsel eyes.

" you mean Lucas" she asked.

"Yes" He nodded.

"I don't know where to start from." she said looking remorseful.

"Say anything, start from any angle. I would understand." he comforted her.

"Could she trust him" she wondered.

She stared at him as if the answers where displayed on his face.

"Lucas was my ex boyfriend.
We met each other in club..." she paused.

"Am not asking you to tell me how you guys met or what you guys did. I want to know the reason you guys broke up." he told her.

"I....i.... he saw me.... I " she was not sure if she could trust him enough to tell him about everything.
It keeps hurting her. Her eyes grew misty.

He stood up, to embrace her.

"It is alright" he assured her.

she felt comfortable in his arms.

"Tobi is at fault, he caused everything, he forced me. I think he was drunk but I was too weak to defend myself. He overpowered me, I was helpless that I had to give up." She poured out.

"It is okay, I believe you" he looked straight into her eyes.

"I" she was trying to explain further, he placed his index finger on her lips to shun her.

"Be my girlfriend" he told her.

He knew this was not the right time to tell her but he knew she was helpless now. He hoped she says yes.

She was not sure if he was playing with her emotions or if he just want to mock her. She took a deep breath.

He hoped she would say something, something that would soothe his heart.

"I don't know, I would think about it". She was confused.

"I just need time to heal, I would be fine. She smiled faintly.

"Okay" He smiled back.

"Its getting late already." she checked the time on her wrist watch.

"I just want to spend more time with you, I want to know you more.
Why you avoiding me". He asked her.

She didn't reply him, she had many things running through her mind.

"Yes, Ivy she hasn't heard from her best friend since the last incident." she thought.

She want the best for her brother, but why was she angry over the fact that Ivy was with her brother. Or was she jealous? Jealous that her best friend won't have her time and be engulfed in their world.

No, she can't be jealous, maybe she just over reacted.

"A penny for your thought" he made a loud sound with his fingers across her face."

"Uhm.....never mind" she didn't want to bother him at all.

"I want to mind, please tell me want is bothering you." he pleaded.

"Is about Ivy." she looked sad.

"What is wrong with her?" he asked

"She is having an affair with my brother, and I know nothing about it.

I don't know why am vexed but I still love and care for her. She didn't even bother to call me to apologize. I feel like am alone in this World." she explained.

"Did you call her? Did you hear her out before judging her?" he asked

"Am not judging her, is just that I feel..... she huffed.

"You feel jealous right? The fact that she is gonna be with another without you, right? I understand that feeling. It happens.

So when will you call her?" He asked.

"Soon." she replied

"Soon is not soon enough."

She brought her from her bag to place a call through Ivy.....
.
.
.
.

"Am a little bit scared". Ivy told Olumide as he drove into the compound.

"Remember, I told you we should wait for the right time. I think this is the right time. All is well." he assured her.

"Check if Olamide is in her room, and I want to discuss with mum. We need to settle the issue on ground. He headed to his mum's room.

Ivy was about to leave the sitting room when her phone buzzed.

"Hello" she mumbled as she picked the phone.

The other end was silence

Olamide didn't utter any word.

"Are you still there" Ivy asked to be sure if it was not network issue.

"Come to my house" Olamide said with authority.

"Like seriously, you have guts you know. Am there already don't keep me waiting." she said as she ended the call...

.

.

"So why you just telling me now?" Martins questioned Olumide.

"Mum, we were just waiting for right time" Olumide answered.

Ivy fixed her gaze on the floor. This was not her first time with the Martins but it felt so strange to her. Due to the fact that Olumide was introducing her to his mum as his girlfriend and she was not in good times with her best friend.

"Ivy are you sure with this decision of yours? I have known you for ages, and I don't want any harm to befall you. If Olumide trespasses, please don't hesitate to tell me. Is that clear? Mrs Martins made a stern look.

"Yes ma, thank you ma". Ivy went down on her knees to show appreciation.

"Ehn ehn, Miss Know All. What is your business if your brother decides to date your friend. Any big deal ehn?" she directed her questions towards Olamide.

"But mum...." Olamide made a baby face.

"Don't mum me okay, apologize to your brother and your friend okay." mrs Martins said as she stood up and left her kids to settle their differences.

"Am sorry Bigbro" Olamide hugged her brother.

"And you ehn, I have a lot of gist for you." she faced Ivy.

Episode 7
"Mum" Olamide called her mum.

She knew something was wrong, she has never seen her mum like this before.

She moved closer to her mum.

"I hope he didn't say or do anything to hurt you?

Am your little soldier and am gonna fight for you". Olamide placed her right hand at her heart region, immediately she said this.

"Hahahaha, you won't change, will you? Don't let me keep you waiting.

Teju, I hope my daughter is safe in your hands. Please don't come home late." She said as she took her leave.

"Yes ma, thank you ma" Teju replied.

He knew his Surname had impact on people if he mentioned the name, but for a woman like Mrs.Martins he didn't know how his name could affect her so much.

Mrs. Funmi Martins was pacing round her room. She didn't know if this was the right time to face Adewale.

He was her First love when they were in school back then. The guy she gave all her heart and soul to. The first guy she gave her body to.

They even won Best couple of the year award.

She even fantasized their wedding back then. She knew they were perfect for each other, but things changed when her parents asked her not to marry him.

"What are we going to do Adewale?. I love you so much and I can't imagine life without you." she sobbed.

"Funmi, cry no more. What if we just elope. You know, you and I, everything would be normal just like before." he patted her.

"Do you want maami to die of heart attack?

If maami is not going for any operation, do you think am going to agree to marry Someone I have never seen,". She looked up at him.

"What if you sign an agreement with him and

"Adewale not a word, just go out there and make it. Get rich before am married off to." she cut him short.

"Okay, but promise me you would wait for me" he asked

She smiled. "Sure I will". She assured him.

Days passed......weeks.....months passed.... yet Adewale didn't return from his quest to get rich.

"If you think I will allow you watch my wife die, you are jonzing". Her Father told her angrily.

You are getting married in the next three weeks. Take it or leave it" he angrily left her on the spot she was.

"When will Adewale come back for her? I don't want to get married to an unknown guy...I want to marry the one I love. Am fed up" she sobbed.

She prayed fervently that Adewale would come back before her wedding day.

She completely loss all hope when he didn't come back for her.

Four years after the marriage;

It wasn't easy for her, she wondered how Someone like Martins could be shallow minded to have married someone that doesn't love him.

Even though she has a Son for him, she wasn't happy. Her happiness was taken from her ever since she married Martins and left Adewale.

She knew he tried his best for her to love him but it was difficult to even like him. He was the cause for her misfortune. For marrying someone she doesn't love.

No matter how he pleaded with her to learn to love him, it was fruitless.
It was like convincing a Monkey honey is sweater than Banana.

Her story changed when Adewale came back.

He came like a thief in the night. He told her he was married to a lady from a wealthy home.

Even though she felt stupid, like he used and ditched her.

She remembered she was married too, that she broke his trust; but the deed has been done. The dual are to be blamed.

"Funmi, I came back weeks before your wedding, but I was too ashamed to face you. I failed you, I didn't make it." he held her gaze.

"But....but you got married". She stuttered.

"Yes, I got married to her, because I was hopeless, she brought me back to life.

I still love you and I want the best for you. Promise me you will love your husband as much as you love me." he told her

She didn't utter any word, she just took him to a warm embrace. She felt so good with him, just the two of them to face the world.

He wrapped his fingers around her nape and whispered the words she wanted to hear.

"I WANT YOU".

Heat flowed over her skin, desire balled in her stomach. She wanted him at that moment. She cared less if she was married.

He made love to her like never before. It felt like the first time. She was fulfilled.

She did made a promise to love her husband.
Adewale told her, she should learn to live her life to the fullest without him.
.
.

.

How would she cope now, how would she react when they meet again.

She heaved a sign. Life goes on.
.
.
"Of course you can." Ivy was trying to read his mind.

"I...i found out that." he paused.

He didn't know if he could trust her to the fullest.

"If you don't wanna tell me, it is okay. Or is it about your Ex? IFe." she asked.

He smiled. "Not at all, I told you to forget about her. Everything Ife and I had then, was in the past. You are my Future." he held her hand.

She wondered how he smiled, even in worst conditions.

She blessed the day she met him.

She remembered he was her Secret admirer when she was a kid. How she kept asking of him from Olamide.

It got to a stage when Olamide asked her, if she wanted to see her brother Olumide, she should travel abroad.

"Why you smiling" he asked as his eyebrow creased as if to look cross.

"Uhm, just happy am with someone like you". She replied.

"Really? I should be the lucky one here. You know. He added.

She didn't want to spoil this moment, she was happy he was happy. Happy to the fact that his mood changed.

"So?" she looked at his face for answers.

"Come, lets tell the world we are happy together." he quickly replied and got up at the same time.

"Ugh, is there anything we need to round up after this" Olamide asked Titi.

"Not at all, are you that tired? Don't worry you will get used to this job." Titi assured her.

"Is just that I have somewhere to attend to this evening and I have to go home first to freshen up.". She told her.

"Where do you stay?" Titi asked her.

"Unity Estate" she replied her.

"Wow, that is where I Stay, but I have never seen you in the estate" Titi packed her bag

"Yeah, it happens" she shrugged.
"Let's go home" Titi told her.

Olumide walked into his office, he just attended to a Patient. He was fatigued. He worked overnight.

Since the incident that happened last at his place, he has not be in good terms with his sister.

He took a deep breath.
He took his phone to text Ivy a message.

"Meet me at Elis Restaurant, 7pm....expecting you".

He dropped his phone, he wasn't sure if he made the right decision by putting Olamide in the dark.

He is gonna ask for her forgiveness, he is sure she is gonna forgive him. Blood is thicker than water.

He took his car keys and left his office.

Olamide glanced at the flat screen tv when she heard footsteps.

"Baby how was you first day at work today" Mrs Martins asked her daughter.

"Hectic mum" she replied.

"Won't you gist me about today" mrs martins sat close to her daughter.

"Am going to gist you about everything but right now I can't do that." she adjusted

"Why" her mum asked

"Mum, I have a date tonight, he is gonna be here soon". She replied

"I hope is that young gentleman that came this morning." She winked.

"Yes mum,
"I hope you not planning anything mischievous." She rolled her eyes.

Mother and daughter, just like Tom and jerry......

The doorbell chimed.
Olamide checked herself out before proceeding to open the door. She was sure Teju was around.

She stared at her brother as she opened the door.

"Welcome" she muttered.

He didn't say anything, he was sure his words would fail him.
He left for his room, he didn't even say Hi to his mum.

Minutes later, Olumide left the mansion and headed to the restaurant in his Car.

Mrs Martins knew something was wrong with her Son. She is gonna resolve that later.

"What is wrong with your brother?" Mrs.Martins asked her daughter.

"I don't know." she shrugged.

Mrs Martins was about to ask another question when the doorbell chimed.

Olamide dragged herself to the door.

"Hi" she smiled at Teju.
.
.
.
.
.

Ivy stared at her wristwatch. For the past thirty minutes, she has been waiting for Olumide.

He sent her a message to meet him at the restaurant. She dialed his number. He picked at the fourth ring.

"Am here" he said as he walked closer to her.

"I thought you would keep me waiting like forever." she stared at him.
"Am sorry for keeping you waiting." he apologized.

She could sense he looked worried.

"What's wrong with you" she was looking concerned.

She prayed is was not about his sister. She haven't even spoken to her best friend since the incident happened. She felt bad.

He took his seat and looked straight into her eyes.

"Can I trust you" he asked.
.
.
.
.

Teju brought out the rose flower from behind and stretched it to Olamide.

"Thanks" she said as she received the rose flower.

"Am taking you out for dinner" he said.

"Yeah, I know. Mum is in. Won't you say hi to her". She opened the door widely for him to enter.

The sitting room still looks exactly the way he saw it this morning.

"Good evening ma" he greeted her.

"Evening to you. We meet again" she told him.

"Take a seat". She offered him.

"Thank you ma" he said as he sat down.

"I would really love to know you more, you see Olamide is my daughter and I....

She was interrupted by her daughter.

"Mum, not now, we are late already. Olamide said as she gave her mum a disapproving look.

"Olamide, I don't see anything wrong with mum wanting to know me, Mum am so sorry about that." he apologized.

"What is your name gentleman" Mrs Martins asked.

For the First time she knew she was ahead of this game. She winked at her daughter.

"My name is Teju Adewale." he replied.

"Same Adewale? Walls group of company." she asked with a terrified look.

"Oh no... this can't be happening" she thought........

Episode 5
"Am dropping here." Olamide muttered.

"I know" he replied.

She didn't like his attitude towards her. She knew it was about what happened the other day.

She didn't want to bother over unnecessary things. She was late already.
.
.
"Good morning" she greeted the Security man.

"Morning" he replied her.

"Please do you know where the Manager's office is." she asked politely.

"Who are you? He eyed her from Head to toe.

She was putting on a white blouse that had high neck line and long sleeves with black skirt suit and also with a low-heeled close-toed black shoe.

Her hair was packed in a professional way. Her nails was trimmed and well manicured.

"Olamide Martins". She replied.

"Oh am so sorry". He apologized for his manners and directed her to the manager's office.

She knocked slightly on the door waiting for a response.

"Come in" she heard the authoritative voice.

"Good morning sir" she greeted him.

She guessed he was the Manager. She sensed it through his mode of dressing.

He was clad with a business suit that is navy blue, that has an inner long -sleeve white shirt with a red silk tie without patterns.

"You came late" he didn't even take a glance at her.

"Yes sir". She was clueless on what to say.

"You are going to work as a Cashier.

I wanted you to be a customer representative but your dad told me you don't like interacting with people." he told her.

"Titi is gonna put you through, worry no more. You can take your leave." he said while putting a call through Titi.

She heaved a sign when she left his office.

"So close, she muttered.

"Who does that? I wasn't invited for any interview, I didn't submit any C.V and am getting a job. That old man got it covered." she reasoned.

She was taken aback from the sweet angelic voice she heard.

"Morning, am Titilayo. She stretched her hand forward to give her a hand shake.

"Am Olamide" she welcomed Titi's tiny hands.
"I know a lot about you" Titi smiled.

"Really" she was liking this girl already.

"Lets get back to business". Titi told her.
.
.
.
Hours later she was familiar with the banking system and the way the bank operated.

"Next" she looked up to attend to the next customer.

Her eyes traced his slender slim body. She felt this flip flops in her stomach. Her heart did a little skip.

He looked like he just arrived from the state.

He was six feet four inches tall with dark curly hair.

He was clad in a V-neck long sleeve t-shirt with a Two zipper buckle jeans.
She was still checking him out when she heard him speak.

"Take." she noticed he has an American accent as he handed the slip to her.

She thought he made an error while he was filling the slip. For someone dressed like this, he worth more than this.

'Sir, you made a mistake." she gave him the slip to cross check.

"Yeah, I know" he felt a little bit embarrassed.

"It is nothing sir, we operate on zero account here. She smiled.

She collected the slip and chuckled when she saw the sum of six hundred naira only.

As in who does that, after queuing for more than an hour to collect such amount. She wondered.

"Yeah is not what you think" he said like he read her mind.

"I was robbed, on my way. I never knew the driver was a thief. I tried contacting my brother but he is not picking up.

I don't know anybody here in Nigeria except from my brother.

I remembered my brother and I had joint account back then, but he stopped making use of it when I left.

The account is dormant and I guess the money in there is not up to a thousand." He explained.

"Am really sorry for your loss sir". She apologized.

"Its nothing, you can call me pete, the sir of a thing is making me look Old" he corrected her.

She looked at the name written on the slip. Peter Andrew.

Was he related to Lucas Andrew.
We have many Andrews' he can't be related to him. Am just stupid. She thought.

An elderly woman from the queue shouted from the back.

"If una wan toast una seff, why una no kukuma book hotel. Una don see fine man wey una go chop his money abi." she angrily accused Olamide in pidgin.

She apologized to the elderly lady and attended to Pete.
.
.
.
"This Job is not as bad as I thought am enjoying every moment. Just like an adventure. She thought.

She was happy, she couldn't say if it was her newly found job or the new guy she meant.
Tbc....
You guys should start picking your team now o.
