quote author=Engager69 post=89193620]Hi Nairaland Family,

I was reading old threads and came across an old tradition that I believe would benefit all of us. If you are a 2020 TRV applicant, kindly share your profile so that we can rub minds together to establish a timeline as to how CIC operates.

This idea was initiated by jnyuwa02 and sillysassysally took over and I would love to take the torch from her and if their is any other vital information that should be added to this template the gurus in the house should kindly draw my attention to it. Thanks

Please see the template below to guide the information you’re to share

Lol, I'm thinking this is a new trend bc I've seen at least 4 people here say their BVL dropped from 17th till now, maybe bc of the pandemic, requesting a medical at this time isn't feasible and they just have to drop the next update grin
I'm affected too and this is my second application.
I dotted my Is and crossed my Ts with precision but

Lets keep our fingers crossed anyway.

So has anyone gotten a medical request in this month of Aprilhuh??

Wunaarroon69:
lol I was just about to say the same but decided to keep mute. Usually shouldn’t get BVL before passport request but maybe applications defer

No, I've not
gentlemate00:
Did you passed the medical before BVL?
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Rollyxxmv(m): 7:07pm On Apr 19, 2020
I have not gotten a refusal yet Mr Frankrobbn1.
I only got a BVL yesterday.

And I said from what I've been reading on here, a BVL before medical request is likely a refusal.

Looking at my profile which i wrote earlier, a cause for alarm?

Frankrobbn1:
I regret to hear that your study visa has been rejected the second time. I would like to see the recent reason for a refusal from IRCC before I can be able to assist you on the best possible way to prepare an airtight and successful study permit application.

Be strong, don't give up.

It will end in praise.

No, I've not. I only paid 500CAD as a prerequisite for the admsn space.
The window for proper fee payment isn't open yet and even though My 2yr fees plus living expenses is less than the total of my SOA with over 20,000CAD gap

Hello Mr Frankrobbn1 and everyone else. I specifically mentioned the above BC I'm new and i don't know how to post independently yet so i quoted him. I'd appreciate if everyone would give me an input bc I'm currently going gaga.

I applied first in Jan and got denied in Feb. Refusal Details being: "current employment situation and family ties in home country and in Canada"

Here's my profile:
I'm 23(24 by October) No tertiary education yet, i have an 8 year gap from end of secondary schl up till 2020.
I've been working since 2016 as an ict staff at an energy company, learning software dev. And volunteering at a local book club
SOA= 11,200usd + 13M , sponsor is mum, 2yr fees + living expenses is way less than the total of what i presented so money aint issue.
I gained adms at NBCC for a 2yr diploma in network administration for Fall 2020,
I had my sponsor write a letter too including my SOP , waec, family properties including a land Doc in my name, mum's last designation and salary increase.

I reapplied on 4th of march with all info above and added
Proof of family ties which include: Dad and mum's employment proof, my birth certificate and that of entire family, each member of family's local govt of origin cert
I also added proof of employment which include : Employment letter, confirmation letter, ID, Leave approval for duration of study from my employer and also indicated that i hv been denied bfr above.

This morning i got a BVL and from what I've been reading from y'all, BVL before medicals is likely a rejection which is my case at the moment. My mind is tricking me to think its bc of corona and no one would be reasonable to send a medical form at the moment.

Sorry for my very long post, Help a brother everyone

And pls how do i order GMCS notes

Frankrobbn1:
It will almost impossible to secure Master's admission in Canada with a Nigerian PGD. Your best bet is to apply for a PGD in Canada that would serve as a smooth transition to your master's.

It will end in praise.
