the major reason am so scared of taking and risking the 3 months tourist visa is, like seriously am not really good at scouting jobs, i am always scared of faces, i dont like seeing faces so i hardly go out.. i finished my nd since 2014 and since then i never for once try to get a job.. i am not sure if i can deal with these if i should just head to dubai all by myself to scout for jobs.. am not really sure if that 3 months will be enough for me.. thats why am really trying to patiently get an employment visa.

the thing is that everyone has his/her own story to everything!! What floats obis ship might sink yours!! Just go for what you think can be safe for you as for me I've started doing mine!! So no fears or convincing me here can undo what has already started

Visa limits your horizon in a strange land, but work permit not that much!! What do y'all think?

It's obvious everyone is traveling with tourist visa, not work permit!! Those with work permit should update us!!

Almost coming to conclusion that Qatar wasn't meant to be a topic in this group!! Nobody saying anything about my previous post about b.t.a and Qatar!!

I'm lost with the b.t.a stuff, what's the least amount in dollars that someone which company is gonna provide accomodation will need before traveling to Qatar

officially there are little said about Qatar cos its more difficult that UAE, more so its easier to blend into the Emirates than in Qatar. The notion ppl have about Qatar is cos they are the richest and money is everywhere for guys to pick from, not knowing that you have to pass through extra hell in Qatar to earn same in UAE unless u r a real professional in ur field of play and not just a graduated or unskilled. And getting their 5years contract is at the mercies of your God. Anyways that's my own conclusion

Agent said its just a 2 yr work permit in a security firm 550 USD plus Acc!!that but I can change after 6 months that's the agreement sha!! But before then I have to be applying for a better job elsewhere!! I'm still in Naija now but he said 6-8weeks I should be done with befor booking

Pls what's it like in Qatar any suggestions?? I would really love to see views and comments from anyone!!? Beside I'm also new here
