Before executing the solutions listed below, we recommend trying out a couple of things first:

Condition 1: You are creating a new company file:
Choose the “Exit or leave” option, On the easy action Interview window.
You need to be triggered to “Save the file“, just choose “Yes” option.
Enter a different file name, then choose the “Save” option.
Important: If changing the file name doesn’t work, try transforming the file location.

Condition 2: If you are opening or updating your company file:
Firstly, Open a sample company file to recognize if the problem is file related or not. If the issue is happening to all your company files, go with below given solution methods.
Log in as a Windows System Administrator before adhering to the actions in this section.
To fix the QuickBooks Error 6129, 0, there are multiple troubleshooting steps that needs to be followed. Below, we will let you know about the steps in detail as follows. However before proceeding to the given steps, make sure that all the computers used have been updated to the latest version of QuickBooks release.

Solution 1: Login as as Windows Administrator

First try opening a company file. Log into Windows as an “System Administrator” to update the company file required.

Disable the active antivirus software.
Create a new Company File.

Solution 3: Rename QuickBooks Network Files (.ND)

Firstly open the folder where your company file is saved.
Look on your hard drive or the system for QuickBooks files that are named with the extension “.nd”.
Rename the file to an old company file name by right clicking on the file and choosing “Rename”.
Type “.OLD” as the file extension and press “Enter”.
In case one has to access the same company file on multiple computers, then make sure you follow these steps for all the files.
In case the Company File is used on one computer only, then you can open the file right away.
Click on the Windows Start Button > Programs > QuickBooks > QuickBooks Database Server Manager.
Select on the “Scan Folders” Tab.
In case there is no folder that contains the required Company File, then Add a “new Folder”.
Click on the “Scan” tab
Click the “Close Option” once Scan is completed.
Finally Open the “Company File”.
