well according to ur question, funaab doesnt state or descriminate abt skuls bt as we all know direct entry ain't easy...mind u, the skul also run a diploma prog called FMP and FSP! Meanwhile, the available space for direct entry students are mostly create for d aforementioned programmes.... Bt if ur OND and O'level results re strong and ur preferred course is less competitive, u can be consider admission... Perhaps, dnt rely on Funaab direct entry alone!!!

well @ dis point, i think i need to share my experience so far abt funaab admission ( a case study of last year 2014/2015 admission)

i think admission in COLMAS is 65% for predites while d 35% is meant for Jambites... A frnd of mine last got 242 and 57 in jamb and post jamb respectively without knowing any1, he got admitted to accounting dept with their merit list he had a composite of 58%(let me say miracle)

secondly, a frnd score 230 in jamb and 55% in post jamb; he had 56% composite he was also admitted to Economics dept.....(anoda miracle)??

funniest bt cruel of all, shé is a girl aspiring for MCB(Microbiology) shé had 210 in jamb and 52 in post jamb with a composite of 53.something%(can't recollect) shé was offered admission on the first list, bt if u can recollect vividly, the skul did nt upload candidates admitted course for abt a week after their admission status.. Shé was happy bt to my greatest shock, shé was given ANIMAL NUTRITION. However, their is a guy Wu got 213 in jamb and 45 in his post jamb can't recollect his composite as well bt am sure d girl composite was higher than dat of the latter(the guy)! The guy in question was offered that microbiology on the second list.
Now my question is: why can't they offer the girl her preferred course despite her high composite??

MANY PEOPLE EXPERIENCED THOSE AFOREMENTIONED SITUATION..

My advice here is that funaab admission is all abt READ, PRAY and KNOW SOME1,. If u can read very well, u will excel with excellent score. If u pray, miracle can happen and if u dnt have the two, Some1 will work for u i.e MONEY.....#Happy Easter pals

in university whr they make use of 5points;(4.50-5.00) is first class, 3.50-4.49 upper(2.1),3.00-3.49(2.2) lower....while in polytechnic whr they use 4points , 3.50-4.00 first class, 3.00-3.49 upper, 2.50-2.99 lower, 2.00-2.49 pass, 0.00-1.99 probation....

hmmm... There re instructions on each section mind u, no word is UNDERLINED rather They ITALIZED all d words we re to work on... How can they give u words without instructions? How re u going to know its synonyms or antonyms?? Taking dis as an example... The boy show is LOVE for football. A. Affection B.hate C. Comely..... How re u going to know what the answer is if there is no instruction?.... I pray God help and rectify ur errors..

it was up to 10,i did not encounter any question on opposite in meaning,the computer will jst display a sentence,underline a word and give you options with no instruction whether its similar or opposite in meaning,i assumed mine was similar in meaning,alsn expect questions from rhyme,stress,and oral english
NB: the computer won't give you any instruction about the question it displayed,you are expected to know when a question is from emphatic stress,stress pattern e.t.c

from Oshodi, take a bus going to Agege then drop @ pen cinema i.e last bus stop, from there take napep or bus to OGBA (N50) u stop @ d last bus stop as well... From d place d bus or Napep drop u, jst trek downward or beta still ask pple u re going to waec office...

Evening peeps! Av been going tru lot of comments here bt will like to share some experience with those dat re yet to write theirs...firstly, if ur exam is to starts by 6am, make sure u re there b4 dat time cus arrangements 4 d exam is ready! Secondly, for those writing by 10am or 1.30pm, have it @ d back of ur mind that ur exams will kick off inadditional 3hours i.e. 12pm and 5pm respectively(based on d coordinators thou) lastly that happened today @ a center; really got me pissed off is all abt the TIME ISSUE! Normally been a CBT exam, immediately u login ur reg number, No supervisor or Inviligalator shld query or inform u abt time cus ur time is reading ryt on ur system! Bt its quite so unfortunate that dis rule and conduct was violated in a center today, whr d supervisor or what her title? Asked the candidates to submit even when there is till enuf time ryt on there system.however, all d candidates felt she was joking bcus everything has been computerized( time and questions) bt to my greatest surprise, d women went ahead to log out all d candidates leaving some candidates with 45mins without completing their assessment. The most annoying part of the story is when d affected candidates went to protest with d lady, then i realised she deliberately do dat cus she is rushing home without considering some fellow human beings future/careers.. So my advice is do as much as u can to complete d whole exam within 3hours regardless of the time on ur system.... God bless we all....

my own thought abt the direct entry list so far, u know when the first list for the jambite was released then no DE list was release due to d FSP n FMP prog n immediately d student ended their prog, DE list dropped.. I saw those admitted on the DE list as those Wu shld have been on the first list(bt awaiting the FSP n FMP student) n looking @ d number of jambite that was admitted on the newly list, i see them as the replacement of the students dat couldn't meet up with d acceptance fee deadline(jst saying oo) bt all d way, let await the update on the skul website...
