The students of the Lagos State University (LASU), have endorsed the gubernatorial candidacy of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos state, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode. They expressed this at the APC Mega Rally held in Ojo Local Government Area.

Speaking through their Students' Union President, Nurudeen Temitope Yussuf, the students aligned with the message of continuity of good governance in Lagos state, and stated that an experienced Ambode is best fit to ensure such.

"We have decided to come together today to endorse the candidacy of Akinwunmi Ambode and his running mate, Dr. (Mrs) Oluranti Adebule, who is an ex-LASUITE, having her Bachelors degree, Masters degree and PhD, all in LASU. We do this because we believe that Mr. Ambode will continue the good works of Governor Babatunde Fashola", Mr. Yussuf said.

He said the present government of APC in Lagos, under Governor Fashola's leadership, has done well for them in their institution, especially the past two years, investing a sum of over 15 billion Naira in that period.
He said such move gives him and his fellow students the assurance that Akinwunmi Ambode will even do much more to take the school and the entire educational sector of Lagos state to a pride of place.

He boldly declared, "Continuity we want, Ambode we support! We will come out en masse in his support. We will vote and we will defend our votes, and also ensure that our votes count".

Ambode is the best man for the job. We need continuity in Lagos.

They said Ambode has Tinubu has his god father, but Agbaje has 3. Koro, Ogunlewe and ex-con Bode George. So which one better pass? Ambode with one godfather or Agbaje with 3 godfathers? So dont expect development from Agbaje because he must surely settle his god fathers every month.

The Lagos State Flag-bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Akinwunmi Ambode has emerged victorious in an online poll conducted by E24-7 MAGAZINE.

The Online Poll with the title, ‘Who will you vote to be the next governor of Lagos’ had Ambode, and thePeoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s flag-bearer, Jimi Agbaje as options, and it was closed on January 20th, 2014.

A total of 222 respondents took part in the poll, with 94 (42%) people voting for Ambode, while 80 (36%) voters pitched their tents with Agbaje. Meanwhile, 48 (22%) voters were undecided on who they would vote for. Ambode remains the best choice for Lagos State.

you don't seem to understand the workings of government and contemporary realities in the context of global benchmarking for a peculiar state like Lagos.That Lagos raised its revenue as you qouted doesn't seem to be in contention here at least.Perhaps what is not clear is the efforts credited to Ambode.As a thorough bred professional with pedigree in public sector Financing and deep insights in corporate working executed the most robust policy of the Asiwaju government improving the earning capability of Lagos.it will interest you to know that this singular reason is why Lagos still is the model state in Nigeria even when the Niger delta states earns 13 percent derivation from oil.perhaps you don't remember that Lagos was intact under Obasanjo when he illegaly held LG fund,it is on this solid ground that gov fashola built and is applauded by even is worst enemies.Ambode is the individual that would raise the stakes.

He is the best man for the Job. He is an experienced public administrator. What is PDP coming to do? This man managed Lagos treasury and created new avenue for revenue generation for Lagos state. when OBJ seized the state allocation. Same means of revenue generation has created jobs for some people.
