flyca:Are the Russians and Ukrainians native English speakers? China is a nice country, we all know that. But truth be told, what the guy you quoted said about the Chinese kissing white ass*ses is right. I've lived in China longer than you and I know what I'm saying. Mind you, I'm not in the category of the no-visa gang 'cause I studied at a Chinese medical school and graduated without issues. But let's call a spade a spade. I'm so sorry for the typical Blackman |
funmisticqueen:You're a health professional and you're asking if abortion is murder. When does life begin? From cell to embryo, embryo to fetus to early and late infant.. And so on. These are all stages of life. Asking if abortion is morally wrong or right is another question altogether. Condom is cheap, prevention is far better than cure and you as a self acclaimed health professional should know this already. |
DaVinciii:Tianjin is closer to Beijing than it is to Guangzhou. If he wants to use a high speed train from Guangzhou back to his city, it will cost him nothing less than 700rmb. That's more than 100usd. You see? And if he decides to use the K train option, he will spend almost 20 hours on his trip and the cost will be around 400-450 rmb which is more than 20k. So it's better he takes the Beijing option and save himself the stress or find a flight that's way cheaper than 216k. My friend got a flight for 197k to Guangzhou in May and she landed in Guangzhou, it cost her an extra 520rmb to head north to Liaoning. Excluding the taxi fare, feeding for the 28hrs plus journey .The 520rmb was for standing in the train because there was no sit or bed space available ![]() Well, she was lucky enough to get a bed space after like half of the journey and she had to top up the fare. |
DaVinciii:You should just make a flight reservation because you will be asked for that at the embassy. As for booking a flight before visa, I think it's not a wise decision. Flights are expensive this season, it should come down soon. That price is the average cost of a one way ticket to Beijing. You may be lucky to get one for slightly lesser cost but 250k is fair enough. |
sudo1986:Ok, please update the house when he finally gives you the information |
sudo1986:Ok |
duos:I'll answer the questions that are clear enough. 1. for Bachelors prospects, you only get to notarize and authenticate your police report. Notarization and legalization are one and same, that is done in a high court but authentication is done in the foreign affairs ministry and the chinese Embassy. The only previous certificate owned by the Bachelors prospects is the SSCE and authentication is not done at any ministry for that but you are required to provide a WAEC scratch card to the embassy for them to check the result themselves. I think you are confusing yourself with notarization and legalizaation. I hope i have answered your question. |
FA13:let me know the info you need. There is one open in Guangdong province. Mechanical Engineering is available but the deadline is 31st of this month. I doubt you can meet up with the application deadline |
Chukason1:That's the down side of studying in China. After completing a six yr course without a criminal record of any sort. The least they could do would be to grant some kinda work permit for graduates to gain employment, sort themselves and find their feet. But there's nothing of that such. I think it's not cool considering the number of years and financial commitments involved. But it's cool though. I got a job offer a few weeks before my graduation and the employer offered to help with my job visa application. That's the only way if you're lucky. There's no government provision for that. For those planning to study in China, it's really a great place to live a very decent life at a very affordable cost but there isn't any jobs. You have to depend on fam or side hustles. It's a crime to work while on a students visa and most employers are being careful too. But overall, you must survive if you're a survivor and a good planner. Stay out of trouble, and you'll be fine. There's always gonna be one or two business opportunities from time to time. The place turns everybody to a business man. ![]() |
sudo1986:you mean a ministry in Nigeria will work for you in a day? that would be great ![]() back door authentication, possible in a day but you will pay more than the official charge. I may not reply to some questions that you know the answers to already. We all know Nigeria. |
sudo1986:Has the lawyer ever gotten a Chinese visa? you have to ask him that you go to the embassy with a police report that is not authenticated, it will not be accepted for their own authentication and you would have ended up wasting your time and t-fare. The only people allowed to present a police report that is not authenticated are the returning students already schooling in china whose visas expired while they were home or people that have got a Chinese visa before. you got time, save up money and then go for it. I was at the embassy this April, i'm just giving a first hand information. not bro though, i'm a lady |
sudo1986:There is an embassy in Lagos. but you still need the ministry of foreign affairs in abj |
DaVinciii:your next step is your visa processing. you take your docs plus police report to Abuja and continue from there |
sudo1986:No, you only need to authenticate the police report. And that costs around 18k at the embassy oh well!you're going for post grad, i don't know how much it cost to authenticate those other docs at the embassy, but the standard price for police report is 18k or thereabout. @the emboldened, traveling requires a lot of money. It's something you need to be prepared for both financially and mentally. You're going for the September semester if i'm not mistaken, so calm down and take things one step at a time. you still got time. The parts of the embassy for authentication and document submission for interviews are in different locations, plan for that too |
Chukason1:There are different scholarship schemes available in China for both undergrad and post grad. The Chinese government scholarship scheme is one, usually open for application between January-March ending each year but there are other scholarship schemes awarded by the provincial government and the host universities. these ones are open for each semesters all year round. you do not need any exams to be granted one, you just have to provided some documents like your High sch cert, police character report, physical fitness, Bachelors and transcript plus letter of intent for post grad studies. post your questions here and i will reply you when i have the time. I graduated from a Chinese university though. |
FA13:The Chinese government scholarship usually runs from January through March ending, but there are other scholarships by the provincial government or the host university itself. If you are interested, opportunities abound. You can quote me with any questions you have about this. |

wrong info. you can't get the Chinese student visa in one week, whoever wrote that up there knows nothing about the visa process. It takes at least one week to get the police report authenticated at the embassy, how then can you get the visa in one week? the cost of the visa is not 15k, it's 32k excluding the authentication fee and other spending. |
Lanre12388:what information do you need. i studied in China and my younger brother also started medical school there this year, got his Visa this April Post all your questions here and mention me, i'll answer them when i'm available to. |
ODGNigeria:very much needed. both foreign affairs authentication and embassy authentication is needed for that single document |
sudo1986:You need police clearance certificate, authenticated at the ministry of foreign affairs and the chinese embassy. not to forget that the report has to be notarized too. that is the new procedure and you can make any progressive steps without achieving these first. |
