Hello guys. I'll be coming to Canada this weekend on a spouse open work permit and also my children on study permit.
I would like to know the documents I need to prepare for port of entry interview or what the immigration officers ask for to get the permits.
My husband is on a post graduate work permit.

I sent my passport through Lagos VFS on Thursday 17th Aug 2023, i got mail notification. The last email i received from VFS was on friday which says that my passport has been received at the Canada Visa Application Centre, Abuja OC on Fri Aug 18 2023 and is in transit to the IRCC Office in Abuja OC for processing. From that time till now, i have not received any other mail notification. Who else is in this situation? What can i do to get the exact location. I have also tracked on VFS tracker and the information on it is similar to what i have above.

How long will it take my passport to get to IRCC? Should i be worried?

Yes it is. Most of us did upfront medicals.

I and my 3 children were denied visitors visa application on the 12th of May 2023.

I decided to apply for SWOP and student visas application for my children, my last child is 5 years.

Application submitted: June 7
Upfront medical: June 22
Medical passed: June 27
PPR: July 19
These is to encourage those still waiting or anybody that has been refused before.

Sorry about your denial, and thanks for sharing the information here so that others can learn. I also used my business, I checked CAC website now and discovered its inactive and I have already applied for my visa, using the company. I don't know how to file my annual returns to CAC.

Please can you share the process to reactivate it. I know there must be some fees involve, how much did you pay.

Ask the CAC, via email, to change your business status from 'inactive' to 'active'. You can email your feedback concerning your business's status to spu@cac.gov.ng. They should effect the change within 24 hours of your request being made.
