The guy is serious bro, according to him he said he has started since on 24th of april, but my pain is that what took the guy so long for him to speak up, he's now coming out on d last day and about 2hrs to end online reg SMH...

Sometimes they don't do it by election oo,eg,my own platoon den,it was like the guy has already gotten the idea about d whole platoon leader tin b4 coming 2 camp,so what he did is like he went behind us at the initial stage,to meet the platoon officer,how you will get to know who your platoon officer is,is that period you will be doing your registration, when you get to camp,anybody that will collect your file conteaningding( sorry my del key is faulty,*containing*) your credentials and give you your NYSC kits,that pperson is your platoon officer,and it's from dia you will meet her if your interested for the platoon leader.and the next tin we saw was our platoon officer announcing the leader to us in one of our meeting without election.
Another tip to be a platoon leader,come very early to camp, ge form t familiarity with the officer,try and be waking upp early to help in collecting the files,arranging it,giving out kits to the corps members(yes,some corpers used to help dem out),once you do that,they will get to know your face,then make them know your intention. shekina!!

Immediately you get to your platoon, meet your platoon officer immediately and help him/her with registration, simple as ABC

You just reminded me something now, It's good to be a platoon leader or even platoon fin secretary but please try as much as possible to be a good leader, dont be like my own platoon leader or fin secretary,(let me not call there names) that decided to pocket our money in dia own pocket,ite not good,it will never speak good of you,we paid 1k each, but we didn't see what we paid for,our dance and drama cloth, dem no hire and our cultural cloth nko,you need to see what we wore,
Close to 200 and something thousand gone!!! So my dear try and be a good platoon leader when you get to camp,and to the fin secretary also, don't chop people's money!!

CHECK YOUR NYSC DASHBOARD WHEN YOU *LOG IN* YOUR ACCOUNT, CLICK ON COURSE CORRECTION, LOOK AT *MOBILIZATION STATUS*.. IF IT SHOWS MOBILIZED, THEN YOU ARE GOING WITH STREAM 1, IF IT SHOWS PENDING YOU ARE GOING FOR STREAM 2.

Well, a lot of merits.. Little demerits, normal issh of being a leader.. just make sure you have the support of your platoon officer.. That's all, nd try to placate all the big boys in the platoon who might not want you..

Merits.. Good PPA by your platoon officer, probably in the capital.. Popularity stuff, make friends and meet people. Money too.. And so on as you can exploit

a. Stream 1 is my portion, any atom of stream 2 in my life I come against it.

b. Oh God please let me not be posted to the north.

c. Journey mercies is my portion.

d. My PPA shall not be a school in d mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
